Good Morning, all this talk about Vit D. I have been taking 10,000 IU per day for quite awhile of D3. I do get my blood levels checked every 6 months...last level was 55. I do want to keep my levels up as a preventative to Covid.
Had a nice lunch, sit down outside, with a friend yesterday.
Today I walk in the treadmill. Very slowly for 30 min.
Sorry to hear about Linda’s Mom. Glad she is with her.

Afternoon All, cold but at least the wind has died down. I covered the balcony garden last night. I don’t know how my neighbors felt but the wind chime got on my nerves so I took it down. Sure made racket for a little thing. Wanted to go to the farmers market yesterday for good Greek Olive Oil but wind and rain was awful. The vendors couldn’t put up their tents because of the wind. They sure are a hardy bunch and I am a sunny day shopper. Got an Easter dinner invitation but choosing to stay home with a crockpot pork roast. Still not ready for large indoor crowds. Be safe

I wish I was better at taking vitamins. I buy them but after a very short time they bottles just sit there. I remind myself to keep walking so that I can keep walking. Today was pay backs to the man in the recliner as his driver for his cataract surgery after all the driving he did this wi get when I couldn’t. Tomorrow is another Jane dog show with masks and social distancing. The challenge is getting a coated dog ready without a hair dryer. Luckily there are only three of us.

2 suggestions Tina, on remembering to take pills you really want to keep taking. First, a weekly pill box. Keep it where it's in front of you daily such as prominent place on bathroom counter or kitchen. Fill it weekly and the fact that pills are still in it reminds you each day. There are even boxes now with alarms! Second, there are several apps that will ding your phone to remind you, after you set up what you need to take and when. I used one to remind me on eye drops after cataracts. My pill box sits next to my sink in bathroom, so I see it each morning and night, even though it's only a few tiny pills, at least I can see if I took them. I use a pink box for morning and blue for night so I always pick up the correct box without much thought.

Lyn, glad you had a nice lunch with your friend. I miss doing that.
I had bathroom issues again this morning. I figured out it is most likely the french onion dip I bought the other day. I had that with chips on Tuesday night and again last night. Both mornings after, I was having issues. So that will go in the trash today.
Went for my Covid shot this morning at the Riverside County Fairgrounds auditorium just a mile from home. It was so well organized! The gals in charge were all wearing bunny ears for Easter! They had nice jazzy music playing. Made it a very comfortable atmosphere, especially while waiting afterward. I had to wait 30 minutes afterward due to the fact I have had reactions to drugs in the past. No problems tho. I took some Tylenol and am feeling good right now. Maybe a tad tired but no discomfort in my arm. I got it in my left arm figuring I already have occasional pain there due to my shoulder problems. Didn't want both arms sore for work tomorrow. And I can still sleep on my right side without any discomfort.
It is really hot outside today! Didn't feel so bad yesterday but was already hot this morning at 9am. Staying in for the rest of the day.
I discovered a wind chime with peace signs hanging on my deck the other day. No idea who put it there but it is cute! I have thoughtful neighbors! A couple months ago, I found a painted rock on my golf cart seat. Not sure who gave me that either.
I don't like taking vitamins either. The pills are so big, I choke on them, so I end up not taking them. I take other supplements but those are much smaller and easier to swallow. I tried the gummies but don't care for them either, too sweet. I have never liked gummies, even as a kid. If they made chocolate vitamins, I might be OK with that.
I think today is pay day. Will have to check my account. Then need to pay bills for the month. My HOA/electric payment will be much smaller this month, with the credit I earned on the electric for last year. Every little bit helps!
Have a good day!

Chocolate vitamins sound like a good idea! I also hate the big pills. A couple of years ago, they had these mini women's vitamins, but I haven't been able to find them for quite a while. And I have a whole bottle of gummies in my medicine cabinet that I have not taken that I should take! Maybe I should put them next to my chair.
As far as the onion dip, after reading the labels on a lot of the ones in the grocery store, I have been buying the sour cream that has very few ingredients in it--mostly just real sour cream--I have been using the dry onion soup mix in it. In fact, just made some. I very, very seldom get hungry for something salty, but have been browsing my refrigerator and decided that is what I wanted for tonight with chips. Not a healthy snack, I know, but I have been doing pretty good lately and have lost 5 pounds since Christmas. Mostly, I am trying to spread my meals out and eat small amounts because of my IBS. Been doing OK with fruit and veggies, but mostly been eating about every 3 hours.
My headache and a few body aches came back late yesterday, but went away after some Tylenol. Woke up with cold symptoms, but after more Tylenol and my morning allergy pills, it is better. I am still tired and sleeping a lot, but my arm is a little better, so am hoping it will be good tomorrow. Decided to go shopping for a new pan with a lid that I can use in my oven to bake stuff covered. I have been using a 9x9 pan with foil on the top, but I want to check out Bed Bath and Beyond to see if they have a real baking pan for meats that is not too tall and has a lid. Needs to fit in my small oven and looked at Walmarts--nothing appropriate there.
Mostly, I just want to get out. I know I still need to wear a mask, but that is OK. Getting tired of staying in.

My casita is all locked up, water and power off. My friend Ginger brought lunch just before I was about to give Ty a bath. His bath may not happen, but the day isn't over. I want to dump and remove my hoses, sewer and water though, so he may be in luck today.
I take a bunch of vitamins and natural remedies. I can now swallow about 5 pills at a time which includes a couple gigantic capsules. I have the most trouble getting down a miniature pill. Go figure!
I was up early this morning. I hope I can repeat that tomorrow.

I didn't do much today but the weather was nice. It got down to 45 last night and up to 76. I think it is suppose to get colder tonight but they gave up on a frost. We shouldn't have any rain for a week. I hope so, I need to go mow next week. Late this afternoon I went fishing for a little while. The nosy cows kept getting in the way and rubbing on the golf cart.
Shirl, you reminded me that I have a small pork roast in the freezer that I picked up at the specialty meat market. I was thinking I would have to have a turkey thigh for Easter. My son is trying to get out of going to Baton Rouge with his girlfriend. He might come for dinner Sunday but I think he would rather stay home and sleep. Judy, I forgot about making dip using the dry onion soup. That's the way we made dip before you could buy it in the grocery store. I try not to buy chips unless I'm going camping. I made my gumbo yesterday and put it in the refrigerator to get the fat off. Today I put it in one serving containers and froze it. I should have gumbo for a while. I have found some frozen dinners that use riced cauliflower instead of rice. I like cauliflower like that.
I have my vitamin bottles in front of my computer so I can't miss them. That doesn't mean that they always get taken but most of the time.

I guess I spoke too soon! I fell asleep on the couch this afternoon like I had taken a sedative! Just woke up at 7:30 pm feeling like a truck ran over me. My arm hurts like heck now! Need to take some more Tylenol. Hope this feels better tomorrow! There are quite a few of us scheduled to work tomorrow being the day before Easter so it wouldn't be a huge deal if I need to leave early. I doubt we will be that busy.
The chunky orange cat was just here. This morning the mangy white cat showed up and as he was leaving and walking down the steps and I got a better look at him, he is definitely NOT fixed! His ear doesn't look clipped just a little smaller or damaged than the other. He is an odd looking cat and extremely dirty. He also must be the one marking on my slider because I saw him mark a cardboard box on the deck next to the food dish just before he left.
So another day with nothing constructive done around here. Will be heading to bed early tonight.

I got up and did my outside "chores" even put oil in the truck left early to go to games went to the farmer's market so that I could get some of Berry's bread and yielded to honey as well...got to games early so I filled up some gal bottles with water just in case if I leave will water some bushes....
have noticed that my plants are looking poorly so think I need to water them more often
left games early so that I could go to this one place I misunderstood as I knew she was going to be open today and Easter Sunday so assumed that all week... got there and the window was closed she came to my car said all she had was shrimp I said oh I came looking for a hamburger she said she hadn't had that all week... but since she had fries (they are so good fresh cut ) I went with the shrimp was really good shrimp and fries for 7 not bad...I think all she had today was fish asked for fry sauce she was out of mayo and not much ketchup so used thousand island with ketchup for fry sauce....
so that was my day
just checked the weather if it doesn't change I think I will be on my way this coming week... winds in St George and Ceder City will be higher than I personally care for but they will be worse later... will keep looking
you all have a great day

We reached 88 today! Handyman Sean and I met up at Home Depot and I bought the lattice and more stain for front deck. Pretty good day. Also went to Curves.
