THURSDAY MORNING COFFEE

Good morning, ladies! It isn't often that I get to open the kitchen. It's a rainy day here in beautiful downtown Utah ... and I'll be heading out shortly. But I wanted to welcome y'all (no, we don't say that here) and start the coffee going.

I never quite understood why people complained about driving in the wind. Sorry, you now have my sympathy! It's like pulling a freight train. You KNOW the wind is blowing when you have to press on the accelarator to go DOWN hill. It blew all night, but its calm now. We are at the Three Rivers Petroglyth Site. Beth's not up yet, haven't seen her walking Peaches.

Only time for a quick "Good Morning" and a cup of coffee this AM.
Company everywhere and I have a dentist appointment this afternoon.
Did not get my taxes off yesterday as planned; found an error and now must wait for correction by accountant.
Weather to be very nice today but storms moving back in overnight. Outlook very wet for Good Friday and Easter Sunday; now weatherman saying some of the storms for both days may be severe. I've been surprised by the number of trees I've seen past few days that were damaged in last Thursdays storms. EMS folks still busy trying to find out why parts of the tornado warning system failed last week. Hopefully we will not need it over this weekend.
Safe journeys to all on the move.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!

Good morning everyone!

Coffee is good,... mmmm.... thanks! Sun is almost shining brightly here,... I have high hopes that it will improve as the day wears on.

I have my usual duties in the high school computer lab, then I sub for the business teacher this afternoon here in the lab. Then....... yeeehaw! it is spring break until the 21st! I'm not going away, too expensive. But I will certainly enjoy some time at home.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Good-morning Everyone!!! The sun is out, the sun is out!!!!!! Its beautiful outside, wee bit cool, but okay for me. Yesterday didn't end up too bad, but weather people are talking another storm headed this way, so when the sun came up sooooo pretty this morning, I am so happy. Tomorrow, sounds like the sun will be just a memory again.

Maggie and I, had our walk. Didn't turn out to be good exercise this morning, as neighbors stopped us to chat. Thats always nice. but I am trying to get my walking legs back, or I will surely never be able to keep up with LIz, on our Alaska trip. I never could before, but at least could keep her in sight most of the time   This winter has been terrible and I didn't get out to exercise as I usually do, so need all the walking I can get before we leave.

I bet the wind was really bad for you Sparkle, hauling your TT. I know in my short rig(MH) its never any fun. I have to cut my speed way down. If you had to step on the gas going down hill sounds like you were driving in the wind, thats really great on gas mileage. Its tiring, hope you all have better traveling soon., Really enjoying your pictures though, hope you will keep posting. I loved the boondocking area, gorgeous country!

Have a great day everyone, wherever you are, whatever your planning to do, stay safe, dry, warm, cool, whatever !!

God Bless,
Carol

G'morning everyone! I am revving up here. Trying to get some carpet shampooing done etc. so I am not embarassed to meet new ppl on the road LOL.... Not only are the carpets 13 years old, but we had a stormy, snowy and then muddy winter and I have a dog. I cannot believe what is coming out of the carpets! Later today I will book a ferry reservation and yesterday I confirmed a service appt in Pasco Wash (wherever that is LOL) for the 20th. Am leaving here on the 18th and stopping to see friends in Seattle one night....

My first destinations of real interest will be Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore and I expect I will need lots of input re those areas. I cannot believe I am getting nervous again about driving this rig as it has been so long!

I guess it is finally happening! And, the best news is that I got on the longer Maritimes caravan that I wanted!! Will be touring the four Eastern provinces for 6 weeks!!! How cool is that?? I finish there on the 12th of August so lots of time to make the GTG in Penn afterwards....

Have a great Thursday everyone! What are you all up to for Easter? It just seems to have snuck up on me and I have nothing planned except to priorize scooter practice in prepararion for my road test. Today it is raining though....

Hi ALL!!

Here we are in Dillon, SC again....same room, same deal, if you can call 79.00 a deal. (It DOES include 16.00 total for two dogs, however.)

Will go out now and snap a pic of the place.....very interesting! Little shop next door has home-made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and gravy, which I'll heat in the microwave for dinner. My temp info for home says it's 44 there....probably about 75 here, and very sunny. I shall miss this wonderful heat and sun a LOT!

Let me try a picture or two. Too tired to label these, but here is where we're staying for tonight......stayed here on the way down, too.
