Merry Christmas Everybody
All the snow is gone and you need waders to walk outside, but no damage here that I know of. Santa must have come by jet ski. Last night when I went to bed there were no presents under the tree and when I came downstairs this morning there they were. Never stop believing in the love and spirit of Christmas....Peggy

Sue, I am sure I speak for many here when I say we would love to see some pix of your snowy Michigan home!
Thank you!

Merry Christmas gals!
I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up at 2:20am but my sleepy eyes thought the clock said 5:10 pm so I was wondering why I was so sleepy so early, until I realized what time it really was!
Sunny today. Still thinking about going for a short hike in the badlands. Will eat breakfast and decide. It will probably be crowded there today. Usually lots of cars there on nice days, especially a holiday.
Then will enjoy more spaghetti and pie later!
Enjoy your day what ever you do!

Merry Christmas. I am stuffed like the Christmas goose. lol I only know one amount of food to cook, too much. I had turkey thighs, cornbread dressing, gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, potato salad and rolls. I wasn't too hungry when everything got done because I was full of rolls. The sweet potato casserole with praline topping is really good. It's made by Pick Sweet Farms and is frozen. I'll be looking for another one of those. No room for the jello salad.
It's 55 and sunny. It was suppose to get down to 33 last night but I never saw lower than 40. Peggy must have received the rain we missed.

As the day winds down I am just sitting here sipping on some peppermint hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows LOL Had a great day visiting with Laura and her Mom. We had some laughs, exchanged some stories, and probably made up some new ones ha ha We had pizza and salad, and they brought an apple pie so our day was complete. Now soon we can get back to the "new normal". Our numbers were actually down for 2 days but we shall see what kind of Christmas surge we get. I will just continue the mask and distance regimen, works for me.
Hope everyone had a great day and soon it will be 2021 I cant wait

Yes, I did feel the earthquake! A 3.6 centered just 8 miles from me! It just felt like a big jolt. Even Lola jumped! Lots of before and after shocks but they were too small to feel.
Didn't go anywhere. Just played on my laptop and ate spaghetti and pie. I also called my brother and SIL in Phoenix. Talked to David for quite awhile. He sounded good altho I noticed he was a little confused at times. After talking to him, I talked to his wife, Julie. She said he has been getting confused and delerious at times lately. Just part of his traumatic brain injury. They bought a house in a large 55+ community in north Tucson (Marana) and are in the process of moving down there. It should be a good move for both where they can make more friends and have more activities to partake in (after Covid restrictions are lifted). They also have some friends who live near there so that will help too.
Luckily, the gourd farm got missed by the fire that started east of Camp Pendleton. It has burned 4200 acres and is 65% contained. No homes burned and evacuations lifted.
