Must have rained hard last night because water laying in the fields across the street but I didn’t wake. Not sure if I slept in this morning or just refused to get up. Tina, I think of you off and on all day. Hang in there. Need to make my way to dumpster today. How is that for itty bitty news. :D Be safe

Good morning. it is raining here right now but supposed to change to showers in a bit. Then 7 days of sunshine but chilly mornings. Need to break down more cardboard. Again a pile of styrofoam so will take the cardboard and styrofoam over to the furniture store's dumpster. That sure is a help. I spent plenty of moolah there so they said feel free to use our big dumpsters. Okey dokey.

My handyman is coming over today to look at my list LOL just a bunch of little stuff right now. As soon as I get my windows they will install them. Also need 2 new doors with storm doors. Some of the stuff around here I can do myself but the fluorescent lights in the kitchen (which I hate) only one half works. So will get him to change those, I dont want to get on the ladder. Hopefully get the bathrooms done within the next couple of months. I just cannot stand carpeting in bathrooms and it is UGLY carpeting that I had taken out of the rest of the house. I didnt have the carpet people do the bathrooms as I am going to be getting tile or good linoleum.

Time for another cup of coffee, then a shower and get my day started.

We had a few snowflakes but could barely see them coming down, looks as though we are going to share Shirl's gloomy weather. I just found a gift offer at Ancestry, com for 6 months for half price! Perfect gift for my brother!
Karen, a handyman is a true treasure and here almost impossible to find. I keep hoping mine doesn't decide to retire! Sounds as though you have made a lot of decisions. The first time DH and I bought a couch it took a year of sitting on a futon for us to agree!! Needless to say i now refuse to go into a furniture store with him. We go separately then have the salesperson note each of our choices.
Emma is home today but so far is sleeping off her big romp with a puppy yesterday. I love that besides her regular training she gets several walks with the trainers other two dogs. The puppy only comes a couple of days a week long enough to have play time but they seem to have really bonded. It is a good thing Emma has two homes, I certainly couldn't keep up with her energy!!

Good Morning, Tina, happy to hear you are making progress. Wow, Karen, what a busy bee you’re turning into. You will rival Sue soon!
Sunny, cool day here. Men working on pool deck. Not sure what they are doing.
Today is my daughters birthday. The one I live with. Although she is spending it over at the home of herBF. She spends more time with him than she does here. Interesting situation.
I am having my oatmeal this morning. Turkey leftovers yesterday.

Good morning all.
Wow! I obviously need to visit the forum more often.
Tina, so sorry to hear that you are ill. Glad that you are home now. Sending prayers for continued healing.
Not much going on here in Arizona, other than hanging out with friends and enjoying the warm weather.

Another sunny day in Northern California with no sign of rain for at least a week. My handyman is good, though very busy and his phone was apparently stolen as his GF has been texting me updates. Supposed to have 4 trees taken down this week. We shall see. Hope it gets done before I change my mind again! One is a large dead, and very brittle eucalyptus killed when main water line to house was broken then repaired- apparently the slow leak had become main source of water for that eucalyptus and a smaller redwood, both of which died with in months of tne repair. Hated to,lose the redwood, but the eucalyptus are so messy, I won't miss them. Son amd I are doing online shopping for holidays. Other than a telemedicine visit with his Dr, not anything exciting planned. Church on zoom is sure different on Sunday's, but at least we get to hear the music and speakers. My right eye is slow to clear, but that matches the left so patience is all I have. Cats, bird, son and I are all relatively healthy for our various ages and ailments, so can't complain too much.
Hope all of you have a good safe week.

Here I am whining again. Sat on hold with &$#%&internet provider for 2 hrs disputing an overdue bill notice. I pay bills on line which are transferred electronically. My bank will assign an agent to do battle with hated company. Calmed down after that call and received a notice my county is under a tornado watch until 7 pm tonight. put a chair in the windowless laundry room along with kindle, water and snacks. Tina, please tell us you were able to down 50 ml. Just kidding, wanted you to know I was thinking about you. I either had to whine here or chew the leg off a chair. Your doing good Karen, nice to read something positive if it’s just you bought a good screwdriver. Lol

I’m supposed to be writing my statement today to deliver at the parole hearing on Wednesday for one of the three “animals” who murdered my son. So far I keep putting it off, but will have to face reality soon and get it done. I’m very afraid he will be released on parole. In California, the explanation for releasing 1/2 of all those coming up for parole is Covid-19. I just don’t understand releasing murderers yet that’s what is happening. On top of that, if he is paroled and they bar him from being released in the county where he murdered my son, he will most likely be released to my county which adjoins the other county. Something more to worry about.

I have to wear a jacket today. It got down to 47 last night and is up to 57 now. Time to break out the long pants. I just unloaded the summer clothes in the motorhome. Good Grief, I could have left and had clothes for a month. I'm washing the rugs, couch cover and chair cover from the RV. I think Sugar sheds more than the cats. I hope I can give her a bath before this weekend.

I was looking for Christmas decorations and found another box of family pictures. Somehow I ended up with the picture from both my grandmothers. I need to go through them and send some to my cousins. My son could'nt care less about them. If my sister had them they would be trash.

Shirl, I see the tornado warning on the weather channel. You are probably getting the rain that was here yesterday. I spent 30 minutes trying to update my credit card with my internet provider last week. I couldn't get into my account because they didn't recognize my password which was good the last time I talked to them. Ended up having to change my password and I still couldn't get in. I waited a couple of days and finally got in. It would be so satisfying to be able to get someone on the phone and tell them what a PIA they are.

I wish I could find a good handyman. My neighbor will help me if I ask but I'm in better shape than he is. I need to find some one to rebuild the back walk way but because of the hurricanes we can't find anyone to do anything.

Sandi, I'm sorry you have to keep going through the parole hearings. The virus is not a good reason to release criminals but they are doing it here too.

The cats run to the door when I go out and as soon as the wind hits them they change their mind about going out. It is very windy again today. Last night it was really blowing and blew a cat kennel off the porch and down the hill. The noon weather man was warning that it could blow over trash bins.

I wish I had the courage to remodel my bathroom and get rid of the glamor tub. I don't know why they put them in mobil homes. The bar that holds the shower wand rusted and you should see how I have it fixed with zip ties and a hose clamp. I don't think that could be replaced without cutting through the wall at the end of the shower.

Back to unloading the motorhome.

Sometimes I forget to take my pills. I have them counted out in the two-row, morning and evening, pill containers. Well, last night I knew i would be going to Camping World this morning, so I put my pills for morning in a paper cup and put my pills for that evening in another paper cup. I put the first cup in my change purse so I would not forget it in the morning. Then I took the pills in the other cup and went to bed.

You guessed it--I went to bed and could not sleep, plus I kept getting up to go to the bathroom. Yup. I took the morning pills which contain a water pill and a sudafed--both of which will keep you up all night. And that is exactly what happened. Wide awake all night, then got up and went to CW, except they had no record of my appointment! So could not fit me in to get my tail lights and running lights fixed. I know I called and wrote down the date and time as 9 am this morning in two places. And of course, they wanted to know who I had talked to. Grrrr. Just took real morning pills late.

Anyway, I will write that place off. So had a McDonalds for lunch/breakfast, ran a couple of errands and back to campground hooked up. Forgot to mention the hundreds of flies that are hanging around my RV, so after I got parked and hooked up, spent half an hour chasing and killing a couple of dozen flies. Ranger says they are from nearby dairy farms. Still have a couple left, so am going to try to get them, then go to bed for a nap. I am here tonight and tomorrow night, but I will not be going outside because the flies are swarmed all around and on my vehicle. Not coming back here, either.

Radar shows storm has moved on. Apartment is a mess with balcony stuff sitting everywhere. There is always tomorrow. Sandi can not imagine how painful it has to be reliving the horror of losing a child. Tina, some days three steps forward and one back. Judy, so frustrating dealing with companies nowadays, seems incompetent uncaring is the norm. Can only hope things will improve when the pandemic is under control. Martha, hope you have a fabulous trip and if you don’t would you please lie to us. :D Have fun and be safe

Got my back door installed today with a storm door. Dang those doors are expensive. Took most of the day as they had a super funky door on there and had to remodel the entry area. But they did a fabulous job, I am very happy with it. Going to do the front door later this week. Steve, my handyman neighbor took me down to his house to show me his front screen door and introduce me to his wife. Really nice people. He and his stepson are going to be putting in my vinyl windows if they every get here LOL Emma is all sacked out now as she is just not used to all that activity all day long LOL

Sandi good luck with your statement. Sure hope it helps. I can see them paroling some people but definitely not murderers. That is just ridiculous. I dont have much faith in our justice system anyway.

Pondering what I will fix for dinner, just not sure what I want so that doesnt help. This is a busy week for me between handyman, and delivery of furniture, washer dryer, and mattresses YAY Lyn I will never rival Sue. She does everything herself, I hire it done LOL

Karen, I just laughed out loud at your comment about not rivaling Sue. I fall into your category there. Sandi, every time you mention these hearings, my stomach ties in knots. I can't imagine what yours does. Tina, I hate backwards days, but they happen. You are one of the strongest women I know, so keep on keeping on being you. I must say this job is spoiling me in that I rarely think about what I'm eating. Whatever they provide me for lunch and dinner, I eat, with rare exceptions. And I almost always have leftovers so on those exceptions I grab one of those. I don't go down for breakfast, so do that myself. Usually dry cereal or 1/2 a bagel with cream cheese or jelly. It's sad that I enjoyed yesterday and today more at work because my boss took the 2 days off. After being so so busy Thanksgiving, and the following 2 days, it started slowing down yesterday and was quite dead today. I've been upset about the dusty and dirty shelves so spent hours today removing product, cleaning shelves, replacing product. I'd asked my boss previously for a duster and was told they used to have them but couldn't get them any more. Today the Mr GM must have noticed or been told about my cleaning and made a point to seek me out and thank me. I then mentioned it would be easier between times if doing this to keep things looking better if we had dusters. He asked if swiffer dusters would be good and I said yes. He said done. I guess I'll just keep going over my bosses head on most everything. She'll probably hate me. Oh well.

Night all.

I was all ready to say "RABBITS!" right now until I realized it is only 11pm! Hopefully, I will remember again in an hour!

The handymen I have hired around here are not very reliable. Still haven't heard back from the painter guy. My friend Dave just retired a couple weeks ago and is looking for odd jobs to do around the park, so I am sure I can keep him busy. I wonder if he likes to paint?

Judy, I have heard bad things about Camping World as far as getting work done with them. Hope you can find someone else to do that work for you. (By the way, kittens are really good at catching bugs! :D )

Beth, I hope you can get thru the next month with your manager. She sounds pretty hard to deal with. Nothing worse than a bad manager!

I got approved for the hormone therapy program so I have an appointment next week to see what the next step is. I need to still call my regular doctor about my shoulder issue. Will do that tomorrow.

Tomorrow is putters golf in the morning and then I have an appointment to get a Covid test. I just want to be sure I am not one of those asymptomatic people (altho I have had a slight cough the past several days), and also they are asking everyone to get tested to bring the percentages down as far as the number of those infected compared to those who aren't. If only the sick ones or those with some symptoms get tested, it makes the percentages skewed.

Stopped at WM after work for a couple things. They only had 2 checkouts open. I had some frozen things and waited in line for quite awhile. I can't understand why they don't get more people working on the checkouts.

I actually had to put on a sweater this morning. It was 52 when I left for work. I saw some people in winter coats today. I guess eventually my blood with thin out and I will be like them.

The moon was so huge and bright coming up over the mountains tonight! Was cool to watch!

Tina, baby steps! You will get a little better each day even if you have a few setbacks now and then. Just dream about camping in your Trek and hiking with your dogs! It will happen again soon! :D

Well, I guess I can read for awhile until it is time to say "rabbits" and then get to bed.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

finished up the laundry made Navajo Taco's for supper went to the store they didn't deliver the chili mix the other day so had hopes that going in person I would find it nope not there at least not where I looked... but got stuff to make this chili that my sister has a recipe for... pretty good doesn't take long to make so all is well... now if I can't just remember what all I need to take with me like some chili grapes... my nephew isn't eating the apple pie might take it as well... will see in the am made deviled eggs they use Miracle Whip I use mayo so when I looked at the date use by was like 2017 or some thing I tossed it (it was opened or perhaps I wouldn't have) I was told his mom's was better well that is good that he likes his mom's the best...
actually found my station again... I might add the app so I can listen to some of those stations streaming but then again streaming uses data although we are unlimited on the phone it's just when it gets to a certain amount it really slows down
Judi .... I don't know where you are and I realize that you decided to not come to Q but have you thought about having a RV mechanic look at your problems I am sure they are around.
Sandi sorry you have to keep going through this... one never knows unless they have walked in your shoes what we would do ... I totally agree letting certain criminals out due to the virus is wrong... green collar crimes perhaps but those that have harm a person physically shouldn't be let out
we will be glad to see your house when you start taking pictures Karen...
Lyn so good to see you on here today...
I need to remember to say Rabbits... in 10 mins or the computer which is on mountain time says it after 12 does that count???
I use those reusable bags for more than groceries... pack stuff in them when I go on a road trip... I noticed the other day Shadow was sleeping in a different spot... today clean blanket and he is back in the same spot on top of the bag I use to put computer in was going to pack all up tonight might not happen. although I really need to do my best to have most of it organized so I won't have a lot to do in the morning I lose an hour and would really like to get home before dark..
so here is hoping I don't stay up as late as I typically do... will be glad to be back home have enjoyed my visit with my sister have seen some improvements in her just wish I would see it in the nephew.... but he spends most of his time in his room usually sleeping will get up during the night fix himself a lot to eat or what I see left out or in garbage looks like a lot...
well enough of me you all take care
