Good Morning everyone. Back from my last camping trip of the season. And naturally, tbe weather decides to get nice this week, after a week of chilly, breezy and at times, wet weather last week. Started out with a couple nice days in the low 60’s but went to the upper 40’s, low 50’s as the week went on. But I, like everybody else at the park was prepared for whatever weather came along, Plus propane for my furnace and also had my disc heater. It didn’t stop me from going out sightseeing and exploring. Saw some beautiful color in some areas and not as much in others. Drove down some new roads, found a new waterfall and went back to some I have been to before, thty are always changing. Spent a fun weekend with friends as well.

So now that I am back home, time to start getting things ready for winter. I had everything done before I left but of course now the pine needles and leaves are starting to come down, so there will be a few rounds with the leaf blower over the next couple weeks or so. Started yesterday and will do the rest today, then wait till more come down. Plan to take out what’s left in my trailer to store in the house for Wi ter, wash tbe trailer, wiNterize and cover it up this week. I love this time of year when days are cool and fall colors are popping.

Martha, looks like another moving round for you again. This keeps up, Maybe Judy has the right idea, move more north. Karen, so happy for you in that you found a new house. Hope the inspection goes well and you can start to settle in and make it your own. Velda, hope your eye continues to heal. Beth, looks like you are having fun with your sister. Pat, was good hearing from you too. Oour state Supreme Court ruled against our Govenor, so now all the executive orders and other guidelines out the window, so big mess of confusion. The suit was brought on by the legislature so now they are going to have to come up with something pronto. We citizens are caught in the middle. Barbie, glad you made it safely to your destination. Tina, sounds like you are learning more about your trek as time goes on. And everyone else seems to be doing okay.

So, I am going to go finish breakfast here, then get moving. Need some gas for the leaf blower and lawn tractor, plus want to drop my ballot off at the township hall on my way by. Going to be glad when elections are over. Have a nice day everone and stay safe.

Morning All, cool sunny day and I am loving it. Planning the day, put ballot in local drop box, pick up a few items at Bjs warehouse and pick up Amazon package delivered to friends porch. There is a package room at the apartment complex but I avoid confined spaces when I can and multiple doors and key pads. Friend said she gets excited when a package is left on her porch. I told her she is welcome to open the package for more excitement but she declined. At least we still have our sense of humor. Going to bring her a rotisserie chicken as thanks. I enjoyed my morning coffee listening to two lawn care men laugh outside. It must have been a hilarious story because they were laughing so hard and it made me laugh too. Laughter is a beautiful sound. Barbie safe travels home and Martha be safe.

Mornin' Sue, Shirl and all who follow~~~

Long day yesterday.  Left Springhill ACE at 8:30. Dealer at 9 for another 2 hour service call on the propane regulator. 3 hours into the drive,  a flat on the Ford. Sit for another 2 hours waiting for roadside assistance. Finally crossed into Texas at 5 p.m.  At Discount Tire this morning and a need a new tire. The bungee cords hook went in,  twisted, and tore the inner lining of the tire.

At least the site is awesome! Another ACE CG. Right on the water. Here for 2 weeks. Expecting about 2 1/2 days of rain when the storm makes landfall towards Shreveport. Stay safe Martha and Carolyn (if you're back home).

In 2 hours my right, the better focused eye will have the SK procedure, so, if it's as blurry after as the left was, you might not hear from me for a few days.
Martha stay safe, Barbie travel safe. Everyone have a good rest of your week. We are hoping weather people are right and we see rain by Saturday. Sure could use it.
Gotta go get dressed and get bird and cats fed.
Velda

It's my last day at my sisters. I have a nuisance error code on my car so I'm going to drive to a local dealer here and see if they can help me reset it so maybe I can do it myself next time. Then I had a few things here that I'm getting out of their way. If I decide I won't be able to use them at the casita, I'll re-home them. Mainly artwork I had on the wall in my house.

Velda, check in when you can. I hope this eye does better than the other. Martha, stay safe once again. Crazy year pretty much everywhere.

sure been getting my fill of Pandora I rarely listen to it as it uses up my data. but when I am somewhere that I can use their WIFI and they don't have other things going I do listen to Pandora... one of those that likes something making sound...
I heard a song the other day coming down that was so pretty but it also the sentiments of the singer as he talked about the song (in an interview) called Lady... not sure of the singer's name never remember that thing  but it is I think for his daughter Presley it is a country western song... part of it goes listen to your mother she will teach you to be a lady..
anyway I was touched by it.... another song I love to hear not sure of the exact name but think it is something like the dad he didn't need to be...just a neat song...
so almost finished with one project all I need to do is stitch up a section of about 3-4 inches but forgot the needle and thread... so can we say it is done?? at least almost???
and the afghan for grandson I think I am going to declare after this section that it is done not sure of it's size but it's getting big... will decide when I finish the section and measure it as to if it's big enough or not but I am thinking it is  even though he isn't a small baby by any means this is still a baby afghan right
called to see if we could pick up the truck and found out the mechanic that worked on it had an accident chipped a couple of teeth and hit his head I am so hoping that it wasn't because of the struts I will feel really bad as I keep forgetting to get new ones... :o
so that has been my day need to see if I can be of some help with something
hopefully tomorrow will find me home.... depends upon what time they will be through with it as I will need to pick it up and travel 4-5 hours and I don't willing do night time driving
also need to stop at a walmart or two or three to find my books....
you all have a great day what is remaining of it
Beth where do you head to now? back to the casita? it's Yuma that you will be working in? when does that start?
Velda hope all goes well with the other eye... you know this all makes me apprehensive to have my cataracts done??? :?
I find that some times the "colors" will so very even in the same area... but bet it was a nice trip Sue

I'm not the only one moving stuff because of the storm. The roads were full. It was a fight to get into a gas station. Some stations were out of gas but tanker trucks were coming in to fill them back up. I got the vehicles moved. Went to Walmart. Walmart wasn't that busy but almost out of water. I didn't check the bread aisle. Every time there is a storm the bread goes like the toilet paper did. Tomorrow I will finish picking up things in the yard. I don't know if I will leave tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning. Waiting to see when the wind will get here.

When I got home from Walmart there was an about 3 foot alligator in my yard. The neighbor tried to run over it with his tractor but the alligator was too fast. Last I saw of him, he was headed down the road. I really need to get a gun.

Cheryl, you can't catch a break. The storm is suppose to head East after landfall so hopefully you won't get any of it.

Colleen, it was good to see you at the campout. People had petitions going around wanting to get rid of the Governor because of the restrictions. Every time they lift some of the restrictions the virus count goes up. I think the legislature is wanting to take some of the power away from the Governor. I guess it will be a committee decision if we have to have a disaster declared. All I can say is people have short memories. Don't they remember the idiot we had for Governor before this one.
