Mornin' ladies~~~
Another lovely day here in Arkansas. I was going to serve blueberry pancakes for breakfast, but you'll have to settle for coffee cake.
Seems I can't turn on either of my propane tanks. Guess I don't know my own strength. I think I'm still smelling propane even with the new regulator installed last week. I'm close to the dealer that replaced it, but I don't want to backtrack and add more time to my next move to Texarkana, so leaving the propane off until I can have it looked at again.
Have been doing some sightseeing, but mostly just sitting and watching the river.
Have a great day ladies and stay safe.

It is nice and sunny here. Trying to get some work done, but will be headed to Zion National Park tomorrow for 13 days. Got to stop and stock up with groceries because there is almost nothing in Springdale, which is just on the edge of the park.
Wonder how Barbie is on her journey? And are your eyes better, Velda?

Hi Chery and Judy!
It is not sunny in central Florida and it's sprinkling as I write. This morning we had pouring rain. It's only 72 degrees, but when I see the temperatures out west and the drought they're having, I should be thankful for the weather we're having.
Church was this morning and we have a potluck on the first Sunday of the month, so there's no reason to prepare dinner, as we had enough food to see us through tomorrow. The permit has probably be pulled for our casita so either this week or next week, the concrete pad will be poured. We ordered a patio set a few days ago, but there is an 8 - 10 week lead time on that. We've picked out the furniture for the casita, but don't want to place the order without making sure it will be on our lot when the furniture arrives.
Barbie, I'm looking forward to seeing where you and Candiss are and hoping your trip goes well. Shirl, post a picture of your new do. Beth, have fun with your sister. And stay safe wherever you are.

It was a nice sunny day today. My thermometer says the high was 89 but It never did feel that hot to me. I haven't been watching the weather and caught just a minute of it at 6:00. Don't you know they are talking about a hurricane headed for Louisiana on Friday.
I looked out this afternoon and the cows are back. I didn't hear them being delivered. They left the truck and trailer so don't know if that was in case they have to pick them up. I feel sorry for the cows, the mosquitoes are terrible. I thought I had a can of Yard Guard but I can't find it.

It was a chilly day here in Wisconsin, but temps will start rising tomorrow and it will be unseasonably, beautifully warm after that. I'm not complaining. My sister and I are planning to go to the apple orchards tomorrow. They were a must this time of year when I lived in this area. If it's too busy, we'll have to drive by, so we're hoping it won't be. We deliberately waited a day, figuring the weekend would be crazy. We also went through her storage for some things I stored here. I mainly brought artwork I'd had on my walls, and then I couple knick knacks. I'll take them back to my casita and see if I can use anything. The nos will have to find a new home. A couple I really love and will probably, somehow, find wall space for them even though they really don't fit the decor. What can I say, it's my place and if I like it, it'll fit. Lol

spent a few hours at my mom's today got there and fixed dinner we had Salisbury Steak mashed potatoes and garlicky green beans need to recheck the recipe although they all liked them I did something off in the put it together steps...
it wasn't as cheesy as I've had it and like it... if you are interested in it check out think it's called garlicky green beans in all recipes. loads of reviews as I recall been awhile since I have checked out the actual recipe. will do so before I get off the internet right now am waiting for family to show up for chat... they are slow tonight we probably wore mom out... but sometimes we get on and wait for others to show up I just now made my presence known so hopefully someone will show up..
saw some really pretty colors today and talked with my granddaughter about going over to my mom's and doing some light house keeping partially to do some stuff like laundry so she doesn't have to go up and down the steps.. but also so she has someone around for a couple hours sometime during the week... we will see how it goes
need to go or those 3 rows aren't going to get done... chat lasts roughly an hour not sure why but that is all mom stays on so then the rest leave
you all have a good day

We slept in some today. Yesterday was long and tiring so we weren't in a hurry to get up early. Stopped for breakfast and filled the gas tank. I didn't feel too good (intestinal issues) but got better later on. Once we got past Sacramento the scenery was so pretty with the mountains and Lake Shasta. It was smoky but not as bad as we thought it would be. Lots of burned up areas all the way up, along the freeway, especially in the mountains. Not sure if that was from this year or past years.
We are in Weed at a kind of creepy Motel 6. Some very seedy looking people staying here. We were too tired to look for another place. The town is really cute tho. The dogs have been very well behaved and sometimes I even forget they are with us. They are both chihuahua mixes. They are both calm, sweet and rarely bark.
Tomorrow's drive will only be about 3 1/2 hours so we will get to her new house just after noon or so.
It is 50 degrees tonight here. I haven't felt temps this cool for a long time! Very refreshing!
