Hi everyone!

We can't let a day go by without a hello. Morning coffee and lunch have come and gone, but I have mini cupcakes if you'd like some.

We are on our lot in Webster FL and yesterday we made a down payment on a casita. They call them Grande Suites. The permit will be pulled soon and in a week or so, the concrete pad will be poured to put the casita on. We are having the pad extended for a pergola/porch on the back end. We've picked out colors for the walls, tiles for the floor and cupboards. We're excited to get this done.

Barbie, you'll be leaving on your trip soon. BJ, congrats on the sale of your RV and Tina, glad your first trip went well. Sheila, have you ordered new glasses yet? Wearing prescription sunglasses at night isn't fun. Been there, done that.

Have a good night!

Never thought I would go to Walmart for glasses but right now begger's can't be chooser's right? just called and got an appt for tomorrow and while others were quoting 2-3 weeks for delivery this lady said about 5-7 days we will hope that she is correct... ;)
Irmi that is going to be so much fun wondered if you would be getting a casita Jenny (seeyagal) has one that they totally enjoy...
time is getting away with me only about 20 days or so till I plan on being on the road at least to Ogden Ut... for a few days then on down to AZ
I wish when I actually do something that I could look about and see what I have accomplished... as it sure doesn't look like I did anything and yet I didn't spend time reading nor did I spend a lot of time on FB nor did I color... well think I remember finishing one page...
bought this canister that when I bought it thought that I would put nuts (in zip lock bags) into it then thought could do the same for the herbal teas then I went back to thinking about the nuts... now I am rethinking it it's really a pretty canister ...
well think I will do what ever else I need to do and get ready for supper...
think I now can get on my own MIFI was on it for a bit but need to print off some stuff so back on dd's which is ok I am listening to pandora anyway and it uses up data big time...
anyone know anything about those satellite things you see attached to some rigs.... I am tired of not finding someone who can sight my dish so I can have tv... not sure if the problem is only that though.... and then Direct is getting rid of the one I am using and will need to get new dish and receiver... so wondering if those will work with their new equipment... don't want to spend the money for it only to find out that they don't work with the new equipment...
well you all have a great day
Irmi make sure you post lots of pictures
Beth enjoy your visit with your sister

Irmi, I can't wait to see pics of your casita. That's so exciting. I worked all day, did 4 or 5 loads of laundry (all the heavy stuff) and started preparing to leave. Instead of Thursday, if I can finish my work in the morning, I'll finish putting everything away and get an hour or two under my belt before dark tomorrow.

My internet went out last Tuesday night and they couldn't come until today. I waited around all day and he finally showed up at 4:00. I went camping on Thursday and the campground had little to no cell service. We had a great time and the weather was great.

It hard to believe that another month is almost over. My next campout is in 2 weeks. We were suppose to go to a Balloon Festival but I think it's been cancelled. They are having a balloon parade. Not sure how that works. The weather will have to be very nice or I'm not going.

Another hot CA day, reaching 100 for the third day. And smoke came back in this afternoon. Ugh
Irmi, I'm happy for you and excited to see photos.
Martha, glad you are home safe and can go again soon. I need to get into a small group like that locally.
Sheila, glad your Internet is back up.
Beth, how the time has flown! On the road maybe tomorrow as my surgery is done. Off to new things.
Chris (son) and I went to Costco and the nearby grocery today. They were out of my favorite ground beef by Harris Ranch at the grocery. Hope I can get back there in a few days or send someone. I'm stocked up for my surgery so other than the ground beef, I'm good for at least two weeks.
Hopefully I'll sleep tonight.

Today was another milestone...........3 weeks today I lost my house. It is kind of a rollercoaster at times as there are several of us here at this hotel to support each other. Some are doing better than others. I am doing okay. Not sure what the future will bring or where I will land but right now I am open to checking some areas out. I know I cannot go back to my beloved community. Even tho they are planning on rebuilding for me it will take too long, and it just wont be the same.

This little online community we have created here has been a lifesaver. You are all so wonderful and thoughtful with your cards and gifts. THAT was the emotional time for me, reading all your words of encouragement and how generous so many of you are. I have had so much to do over the last couple of weeks as we were not even allowed in the 8 miles of devastation for 2 weeks. I have now been to my house a couple of times. It is funny but looking at it and just the steel beams and piles of ashes only tugged at my heart briefly. I have accepted the fact I can never go back. I finally got to go to the post office to pick up my mail. And forgot to get stamps as I have cards to get in the mail. The UPS store is offering us 3 months of free mailboxes and no setup fee so I did do that so I can receive packages and my mail there. I have a street address and a PMB(Personal Mailbox) as many places wont deliver to just a po box so they get around it this way LOL. It is pretty close to the hotel so I will go once a week.

I am going up to visit Laura this coming weekend. She wants to show me some of the parks up there so I can evaluate whether that is an option or not. I love it down here in Southern Oregon but since 8-9 of our parks burned up options are slim, rentals were tight before so think they are pretty non existent now. I dont want to buy a sticks and bricks house. Very expensive and I really want a new community. But I do have time and definitely dont want to rush into anything unless I found the perfect place LOL

Thanks again everyone for all your kind words I love you all more than you know.

Karen, hope you can find a new place to live that makes you happy. I still have my old house but I'm not sure that is a blessing or a curse. Every time it floods it has to be cleaned out again. The junk is getting slimmer and slimmer. My son doesn't want to deal with his stuff in there so it's going in the trash. My son that passed away had a lot of things in there. Every time his ex-wife would come all she would do is dig in there. There's not going to be much for her to dig in now.

Velda, it took me a while to find a group to camp with but they are a life saver. I think RVing Women is active in California. The Louisiana chapter is getting more active but they want to go farther than I do. The group I camp with the most is a Facebook group a friend started. The campouts are usually 10 to 15 members and somewhere in Louisiana. There is a scheduled campout once a month. Sometimes one of the members will post that she is camping somewhere and invite anyone that wants to join her. We now have over 200 members so depending on where the campout is who will go. There are getting to be so many people camping it's hard sometimes to get sites. Having something scheduled months in advance helps.
