Smoky Hot Thursday

Today dawned very smoky in Northern California! TNTC, as we said in tne medical world, which stands for too many to count, in this case fires all over the state. It will be another Hot breezy day. Not good for fire fighting. We are safe here though the air is very bad. I'm staying in, not even opening the front door. We have plenty to eat and drink, and our lungs will be safe. I'm sure my electrostatic filters will require a good washing once air clears.
I've taken up learning watercolor stamping and am having fun with that. Some gals are actually recreating the scenery they are encountering on their trips. I hope to attain that level eventually.
I learned to crochet in college from a roommate. I haven't done it in a while, but want to get back to it this winter. I also love cross stitch, both counted amd those with printed patterns. But stamping and card making are my favorite hobbies.
I irritated my knee a week ago doing a new Curves workout here, so am taking it easy on exercise. I sure miss my Curves workouts on their machines and hope governor opens them soon. It will take months to get back in shape I was in.
Tomorrow, come what may, I'm wearing my mask and going to pick up lunch for Linda, who was here briefly, and her wife. Linda had a very long shoulder reconstruction Tuesday and I thought Shelly might need a break from cooking.
Hope today they' make progress on fires and our air begins to clear.
Stay safe everyone. Have a good day.
