Just strolled into Barbzeee's kitchen and no one is here. I put on a big pot off coffee and I'm looking for the goodies. There's a few crumbs on the table so I cleaned them up. Wonder who in the world did that!! LOL I got out the biscotti and found some leftover cinnamon rolls. Guess I need to head down to Crispy Creme!!!

Thanks for the coffee, Fernie....will need it this morning as the rain has stopped and we're going out to check the pond....still having flood watches here, but no tornado.....

Have a great day, all...

Morning all. Raining but warm here in MD. And yes, TGIF. GD is coming down with whatever crud is making its way through her class at school. No fever yet but cough cough cough. They get out of school early today and then Spring Break all next week. Sure hope she isn't sick for all of that! I wanted to go camping for a few days during Spring Break, but my son will be in town so guess I'd better be the good mom and hang around for that.

Hope everyone has a great day. We have some bagels here with cream cheese...help yourselves.

Fernie, thanks for the coffee. Rv is ready and I will be leaving in few for Williamsburg, Va for first camping trip of the year. I am taking a raincoat or maybe it should be two, sigh! April showers. Travel safe everyone.

'Morning all.
Hopefully at least most of you are warm and dry. We had a wild afternoon and night with high straight line winds, torrential rain, and a couple of tornados. no injuries that I've heard about but many trees down, a few roofs gone, lots of flooding, and some parts of town still without power. A trailer park just across the TN River was hit hard; Weather Channel has some pictures of that and the flooding on this AM. I was fortunate to loose power only briefly; small tree down in back along with may limbs and water in the garage. Haven't been out to check front or sides of house yet.
It is still quite windy and gray out but rain has stopped and there should be a little sun by late afternoon. No more rain until Sunday. Much cooler out this morning - Dogwood winter.
No exciting plans like those who are lucky enough to be hitting the road today. Safe and dry travel wishes to each of you. I have a mammogram scheduled this afternoon and then off to see if other property and antique malls are okay.

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!!

Weather has been horrible north and south of us here in Orlando, but we just had one doozy of a thunderstorm, very short, not too heavy winds, and now it's over! Cooler weather ahead.

Sorry I don't have internet access as I would like it, so I will be mostly absent for a while now. I'll try to check in more often when I can get a wireless network working here so I can use my own laptop out on the porch where I sleep. I can't get into this room early enough for me!

Hope you all are having a great time doing whatever!

Later........

OH.....Here's a picture of Liz taken on my porch before we went out for a lobster feast!

Hope you made it safely to GA, Liz, and that your weather was better than it looked on the weather channel!

It was really fun having the time to chat with her in the afternoon before we met up with the guys for lobster! She has many more pics than I have!
