Well I came home from work and discovered Ty got into iced brownies. I'm watching him carefully. So far he's drinking a lot and thrown up once. But still wants treats and dinner. He's never gotten into food before but I blame myself. The container they were in wasn't closing properly so I sat it on the table last night intending to move them into something else. I forgot about them. Of course, chocolate! I'm watching him very carefully. And I'm glad he vomited.

I'm already sick of listening to motorcycles. And the vibration from them. I can't wait for this week to be over.

I bet that is sound that is easy to get over Beth... I remember one year we had our grandson for the summer we made arrangements to meet our dd in that area to give him back coming we couldn't find a place to stay ended up sleeping in whatever we were driving finally found accommodations in Casper after we had spent a bit of time in the Hill's and given back the grandson..

After Ty throwing up several times (7 major ones) I've changed the sheets on the bed (where he went cowering because he thought he was a bad dog) all along telling him he was a GOOD dog. Heck I can do laundry, I just wanted him well. So now I'm exhausted and he wants to play. I'm thrilled he feels better, but I'm still watching closely.

Sweet dreams everyone.

Might be a little late for wine so I ate ice cream.

Beth, hope Ty is ok. Chocolate in baked goods is probably not as bad as a dog eating pure chocolate.

I was worried about Cheryl with all the bad weather heading for Illinois. I think her trailer is ok. I was afraid she would have another round of hail. I was going to hook up the trailer and go mow but it clouded up. I was out in the yard when the first lighting bolt went off. I was about 3' tall and got myself in the house quick. It was like when the lightening hit the tree and the transformer. It was just getting cloudy and hadn't started raining.

Maybe I can go mow tomorrow. I have to go get cat food for the outside cats and pick up a prescription for Sugar at Walmart. I should have done that today.

Beth, glad that Ty got rid of most of the brownies. Hope he feels better tomorrow.

I haven't been watching the news or weather so have no idea what is going on in the world. I did read online that kids are getting infected with Covid at an alarming rate now. No surprise there with the schools opening.

I think some of my health issues are hormone related (or lack of). Have been reading a lot online about that. Been very interesting.

Other than that, nothing too exciting here. Need to pay some bills tomorrow and probably go to WM for a couple things. One is drain cleaner since my bathroom sink is clogged. Have had issues with that since I moved in. I get it working fairly well but eventually clogs again. Ran out of stuff to put in it tho.

Gave myself a haircut today. I am growing out the length now but I still cut the top and bangs. It is in a layered wedge style now. I am growing it down into a layered bob like I had it before. And maybe will grow it longer after that. Will see. I tend to not like hair touching the back of my neck.

Good night!

Hi Barbie - These mobilehome pipes are a tad smaller than stick house ones and I think most of us have clogs if we don't stay on top of it. The homemade solution has been posted here before, but the formula is boiling water, baking soda, and white vinegar. It's a lot cheaper than the drain openers and not a caustic.

Make a large pot or teakettle of boiling water. Cup your hand and dump baking soda in your hand - for those who need exact measurements, it's probably anywhere from 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup. Dump the baking soda into the drain. Follow with about 1/2 cup of vinegar and watch the bubbling action! Let this sit a few minutes - not too long because you don't want hard paste in there, but about 5 min. is right. Then pour the hot boiling water down.

If you have a tough clog, the first time you may have to repeat this if the drain is still sluggish, but if you do this once a month as a routine you will keep your drains and pipes clog free. I might forget "rabbits" but I try not to forget the baking soda/vinegar treatment every first of the month in every drain!

Gonna get hotter as this week goes on, so stay cool!

Beth - hope Ty is okay!

Thank you Pooker for the "recipe" for my drain. One of the issues I have with that sink is it has one of those push-down/pop-up drain covers and I haven't been able to figure out how to remove it to get access to the drain pipe. Will have to look it up on line and see if I can figure it out. It must come out somehow. :?
