Morning. Nice sunny, cool morning here today. 55 rght now, headed into 70’s’s later. Hopefully this will float over to you gals on the east coast. UNfortunately, Beth is sending some more hot weather our way

Took advantage of the cool spell to give my trailer a good washing yesterday. Scrubbed down the roof as good as I could. No I did not to up there :) . Just used a long handled scrub brush from the ladder. About as white as it’s going to get which is pretty white. I just had it recaulked, so should be good to go. Inside cleaned and now just need to make up the bed, which I will do this morning and then just finish putting back what I took out for winter. Will cool down And load fridge and wash floor before I leave.

My new washer that I ordered Memorial Day weekend, finally arrived. Manufacturer finally catching up from Covid delay. Put the first load through it this morning and now in the dryer. My fridge needs a new part and that will be put in this morning sometime. Then I will be back in business. The freezer is fine, so no issue there. What I had in the lower part is in my cooler. Nothing critical as far as having to stay cold, so good there. There is ice in there though.

Martha, maybe your mower blade is dull and not really cutting enough to throw grass out or your grass is wet down lower and clogging it up.

Off to put new ink cartridges in my printer, do up some dishes and wait for fridge repairman to get here. Once I find out when he’s coming, I will go make up the trailer bed. Need to go into basement and round up whatever else is down there from the trailer. Have a nice day everyone and stay safe.

Haha, Sue, but true. Today's only supposed to be 88. We shall see.

Nothing new to report here. Just checking in as I haven't for a few days. Time to get Ty outside and head to work.

Happy Friday!

Morning All, Sue thank you for the cool air. Woke up to a gentle rain and cooler temps. Have the windows open, so nice. No big plans, just organizing fridge and wrapping some items for the freezer. I was so miserable from the heat yesterday I just shoved perishable groceries in the fridge. Going to sit on the balcony while I can. Be safe

Good morning to all. Well the guys who are going to do the work in the kitchen just pulled up. Today is removing parts and painting parts. Not looking forward to smelling paint all day. At least the temps have dropped - ONLY going to be 101 today and the next few days.
All the work from the water damage is done except the kitchen. Don't like having new workers in the house but will just stay in a different room.
Too hot to get outside and sure don't want to go to a store as virus is going crazy here.
We have doctors appointments next week, I wouldn't keep them but need some scripts refilled that he will only do in person.
Will be amused later today and tomorrow with NASCAR racing - getting tired of Hallmark Christmas movies.

The weather here in the Central Valley of Northern California has been relatively mild so far this summer (knock wood!). Mostly been in the low-to-mid 90's, instead of the low-to-mid 100's, (with a few 100+ days thrown in here and there for good measure).

I'll take it!

Mornings and evenings generally cool - 70's & 80's. Unusual here for this time of year.

How are you making out, Velda?

Barbie, I have been thinking about you, imagining you on the front sidewalk outside your shop, washing your customer's hair with a garden hose while they sit in a regular chair draped in plastic. Maybe an ambulance pulling up now and then to haul customer's away due to heat prostration. :?

How are you doing?

Anne

Good morning. Nothing much new here either. Had a nice weekend visiting my BFF Laura. We went to the Saturday market in Salem which is really pretty big. Couldnt get in without a mask which is good considering we are under a mandate to wear them. Works for me. Came home and sorted thru a few tubs of stored stuff. I bought a Pack and Track kit where I put the label on the tub, download the app to my phone, then scan the code, and enter what it is in it. I love this. I usually have to sort thru several tubs and may never find what I want so this is working great for me. I need time to go thru the tubs again and get rid of some stuff now that the donation centers are pretty much open.

Been hot here lately and this weekend will be in the 90's and low 100's. We are now in the extreme fire danger category. Many lightning fires started this week. Some evacuations across the border to CA and into more eastern OR.

Well off to walk the dog before it gets hot and then will come home and water everything well. Then not sure about the rest of the day. Having salmon today so that is planned out.

News from Ohio. I am on my way back from Indiana and leaving the RV behind. I think “she” found a good home with I nice couple. I left my card with the forum written on the back. I explained that the forum is a lot smaller than it used to be but still available for support and information..... and some laughter from time to time. I thank Janice for her sharing with me her experience with Facebook Market Place. I never even had to post it on RVTrader. I am relieved that the experience of selling is over and glad that I don’t have to make my living in vehicle sales. Now I can look more seriously about what is out therein the used class B category without knowing that the good deals would be gone the next day. And after researching Pleasure Ways I have started looking at some of them along with the older RoadTreks. Anyone wanting to weigh in on those Ford or Chev engines from 2004-2008 feel free. I also question if I want to deal with the macerated pump after 15 years of no problems with the gravity dump system. Well off to the bank....

Tina, glad you got your RV sold. Now on to something else. lol

It has been storming off and on all day. We are getting bands coming off the tropical storm in the Gulf. I'm so glad it's going West and not North. I finally made it to Walmart and almost $200 later I hope I don't have to go back for a month. I made it in and out of my stops between showers. My sister's granddaughter and her husband came to pick up a bed I was giving them. They wanted to eat at Chili's. We had to wear a mask the 15 feet from the door to our table and we were the only customers in there. The waitress brings us one menu. Two people have to share a menu but I guess the one extra person doesn't count. Harold got into it with the local Chili's and wouldn't go back. Guess they haven't smartened up any.

Karen, you are just too organized. Downloading and scanning sounds too complicated for me but maybe it would help me keep up with things. I can sure lose things fast.

I started vacuuming the living room this morning and the vacuum cleaner is still in the middle of the floor. I don't remember what got me side tracked.
