Sunny Wednesday

Good morning everyone. So far it’s a bit of a cool day but humidity supposed to move back in with heat tomorrow. Then maybe some rain. The yard is getting dry so rain is welcome. Seems to be feast or famine with rain! My surprise yesterday was the mess in front of my house again. I thought the construction was over but nope, so all day I had big machines in front of my driveway and the dust and noise. Today they are laying the asphalt so maybe it’ll be over for good when this part is done. I can only hope! Makes getting out of my driveway such a treat! Rascal and I finally went for a walk last evening about 7:30. Nice and peaceful! So that’s about it from my world. Hope you all have a good day and be safe.

Good morning Sharon.

Just got up and was about to get ready for work, when my manager called and asked if I wanted the day off. It has been really quiet at work now that everyone has finally gotten their haircut, so I agreed to take off today. I have things to do around here.

Lola has not been doing very well the past week or so, and Maya was getting more aggressive with her and me, I started looking for someone to foster her for awhile so I could give us both a break and I could take care of Lola better. I was contacted by a woman who works for two reputable cat rescues in the valley here who offered to take her and foster her for me. She has other kittens she is fostering so that might help Maya burn off her kitten energy and get some manners. I brought her there yesterday. Lola wouldn't come out from under the bed until late last night. She seems much more relaxed this morning and was laying next to me in bed when I woke up which she rarely does. I feel much more relaxed as well. Now my arms and ankle wounds can heal.

I have been reading some good books so will do some more reading today. I have also been staying away from FB and the news the past several days and that is helping me to feel better as well. It is too easy for me to get sucked into all the crap that is going on and then I get depressed and mentally exhausted.

I hope you all can start making plans to get back on the road soon. I can't believe that June is already half over! Only a couple more weeks until the 4th of July. Not sure what will be happening with that tho. Cases are spiking in a lot of areas now so that will probably change plans for fireworks and parades.

Of course I'm not speaking for anyone else here, but for myself I will not be 'getting back on the road' anytime soon. I have had pneumonia twice in my life - the second time nearly did me in - and I have no wish to repeat the experience. (Although both were, thankfully, many years ago, one doesn't forget being ill nearly to the point of death. Ever.)

If - and when - a vaccine is in place, and I am able to be vaccinated, then I will think about resuming my travels. However, I don't anticipate that happening anytime soon - definitely not for this current summer travel season.

I was very. . . hrm, shall we say very "disappointed" by Dr. Fauci's recent announcement regarding the original government statements suggesting that the public had no need to wear masks. Looks like the public was lied to (there is a thread on this topic elsewhere on the forum should anyone care to review) . . .

Of course, now, the advice IS to WEAR MASKS. The opposite of what the government was originally suggesting. . . one wonders how many lives might have been saved had mask-wearing been implemented - or at least suggested - early on. . . :(

Here is a link to what he said (Google for other references):

https://www.nationalreview.com/news/fauci-confirms-public-health-experts-downplayed-efficacy-of-masks-to-ensure-they-would-be-available-to-healthcare-workers/

In my area, the rate of Covid 19 infection is up 80% since our unofficial "opening". I have driven my car around - with the windows up - and observed that no one here seems to be practicing "social distancing" of any kind. Nor is there a mask in sight. I fail to understand what people are thinking.

Do I want to go on a camping trip and risk getting maybe fatally ill? Maybe getting fatally ill far from home? For me, not so much. I'm just a wuss, I guess.

LOL. Now that you mention it, I do remember her Class B. Photo looked very cute. I don't remember her mentioning on here that she had sold the Class B. I guess I need to check the posts more frequently.

Good morning ladies!

Its finally stopped raining here and showing patches of blue. Its still brisk but much warmer than it has been. I'm cutting dead wood from trunks of trees for fire supression. Looks like my stalker set a booby trap while it was pouring. I'll have my hubby check it out when he comes this week.

Due to my injury I've had to wear a mask since I was sent home to die in 2004. Mine is a VOC filtration mask. While they don't get everything, they do reduce the amount. That is important wether you're talking VOCs or viruses. Yes, you respirate out bacteria, toxins and CO2 and rebreathe them inside your mask. Yes they cause hypoxia. Its a balancing act. You have to choose what helps the most for each set of circumstances.

I've had severe pneumonia twice also. I've nearly died hundreds of times from the chemicals. Documented. You don't ever forget a circling the drain experience. You can block it out for a time, but you can't forget it. The majority of mine in the last 12 years I've faced solo. Western medicine kicked me to the curb telling me there was nothing more they could do for me in '08, when they sent me home to die. The first time I had pneumonia I was home. My husband was at work all day, so mostly I was alone. It was chemical pneumonia. Yes, thats a thing. Several pesticides cause it. In that case it was Gramoxone. Nothing they can do for you. The second time was this January following the worse virus either my husband or I have ever had. He also got pneumonia. I did not get a worse case, than my husband, of either, as I don't take pharmaceutical chemicals. Acetaminaphin is known to make covid viruses worse. Did you know that the common cold, MERS and SARS are also covid viruses? There are thousands of covid viruses. The research is showing Covid-19 is an engineered virus. Engineered to take out the elderly and health compromised, especially those with glutathione deficiencies. It does not manifest severely in the young and healthy. I read a lot of medical research and implement my findings. Thats how come I'm still alive. Point of fact: the virus itself is patented. You can't patent something that occurs naturally. A few of the patent holders: Fauci, Gates, Soros... The patent holders on the vaccine include: Fauci, Gates, Soros... Want to guess who holds the patent on Remdesivir? Gilead Scientific. Go ahead, guess who is behind that... All 3 men are globalists who have stated that we need to reduce the population of the earth (speciffically the old and the sick). Got the creeps yet? Before you take the vaccine you should research what Gate's vaccines have done to Africa and India! Besides, you don't need the vaccine. There are natural treatments that work.

Ann, Those messages about masks were so mixed and confusing. I still hear people say they heard the masks were effective so they aren't wearing one even now. You can't lie to people about stuff like that and then expect them to believe anything else you say later about that same thing.

Linda doesn't get on here much anymore, maybe just a couple times a year now so I know of this from either FB or talking to her personally, (we have been good friends since we both joined this forum about the same time over 10 years ago).

Too true!! Barbara, I agree with you on these two statements 100%. ESPECIALLY the second statement. :(

A pity, I think. I really enjoyed reading her posts. She always seemed quite the "character" and a true adventurer. Both things I am not!

I am not on Facebook; please pass along my best wishes to her.

Thanks, Barbara.

Question: Do you prefer to be called "Barbara" or "Barbie" here on the forum?

I go by Barbie on here. I go by Barbara at work since it sounds more professional. Barbie is my fun girl name!

Linda is a hoot! I am sure Beth will tell her to check her birthday messages on here. They work together in Keystone.

Boy, it's fun to go to the dentist now. I sat in my car for what seemed like a long time until someone came out to get me. She took my temperature and ask me the same questions I had answered before. The front door is locked so went in the back door. They have some kind of new contraption they put in you mouth while they are using the pressure washer to contain the spray. I have a filling that is coming out so joy, joy I get to go back in 2 weeks.

My Sam's membership had expired so I went to renew that. I usually get gas at Sam's when I go to Lafayette because it's the cheapest place. I bought a few things but don't have freezer room to buy much. I think the traffic is even worse than it use to be. Maybe it seemed that way because I hadn't been in 3 months. I wanted to go to Academy but ran out of steam at Sams.

I'm not use to driving my car so much and my hip is complaining. I can drive the motorhome all day but that car hurts my hip.

it didn't rain as much today as it was predicted. enough that the ground is wet the air is cold and it's just a miserable day!!!
planned on going to the nursery and adding a few to the ones that I am taking over to my mom's we are going over tomorrow will hope the weather is descent so I can get the plants planted they will be so happy I know the ones that I have already planted look happy... then I picked up a few things at the store so I could make hamburger soup big batch we will either have it several days or family will be back and it will be eaten then... I thought it tasted good.. if we remember will take some over to mom so she can have some... will need to go up later and put it in the fridge it was too hot to do so earlier..
so that was my day visited with my youngest daughter... a couple of times she was running an errand so talks to be via the radio... if my truck is so that it is still usable for the next couple of years I am going to get a new radio with the blue tooth available...
I was thinking today that possibly if the organizer's of the fireworks did a bit more organizing probably would still be able to have the fireworks... either find places to have cars parked to be able to see them or why not mark off places that family groups can sit in and have them distanced by quite a ways... just a thought haven't heard here if or how they will do them...
not sure what Shadow's problem was this morning but he let out a cry for lack of a better word not a bark or anything similar to a bark got me out of bed :o
you all take care
