Sorry about the trip Peggy, but you don’t want to be there or on a plane either right now. Glad. You got home safely. Take it the Trek is all repaired.
Nothing much doing here. Just relaxing in the recliner letting my body heal. Things are coming around slow but sure. Really want to go to town, but too much effort getting in and out of truck right now. Maybe tomorrow or after my chiropractor appt. on Monday. Want to buy another bag of dry dog food and few perishable items. I saw a post, that our local Walmart is cutting back hours. Don’t need anything from them, but will hit Meijer.
Lots of closings And things cancelled up here too. 19 cases reported so far, all downstate, a number with history of International travel, which makes me wonder if a group tour returned home. One case was reported couple counties over, another international traveler, but she has not returned to the county, so no cases in northern MI or U.P. As of this morning. My church has cancelled masses till after April 6th as have all the Catholic parish’s in northern Michigan. I posted the notice on FB after reading it on our parish website and it is spreading likewildfire, which is good.
One of our little cal TV stations keeps a list of closures and I noticed one credit union on it. You all might want to consider keeping some green on hand, just in case. Haven’t noticed any runs on gas, but am keeping tank full anyway. Friend of Mi e said there were big lines at one of her local stdtions, but hard to saybif it was panic buying or cheap gas price.
With the kids all out of school and meals being a concern, one of the school districts and two hotels here, are offering free lunches for families in need. Take out only, and I’m hearing other communities starting to jump on the bandwagon too. The American Spirit is alive and well n the north.
So that’s about it from. E. Hope you have a nice Dsy, keep safe.
