Mornin' ladies~~~
It's rollcall day today. Hoping this day finds you happy, healthy and stress free.
I'm currently in Georgia and did some sightseeing this week. Went to Cumberland Island to see the Dungeness ruins and the feral horses. Lots of walking on a windy chilly day, but it was nice and sunny. I'll be moving towards Savannah today and may have a mini GTG with Peggy.
That's it from me. Time change is next week and Spring is coming too.

Good morning Cheryl & everyone!
Cheryl, enjoy your adventures!
I remembered to say rabbits and am hoping for a little luck. It's another cold morning in Ocala and we had a hard frost again last night. Am looking forward to warmer days. Church is this morning followed by a potluck. I'm taking a cheesy broccoli and ham casserole.
Enjoy your first day of March!

Still here in Ohio. Still chilly but since all of you have been reporting similar sorts of weather staying north this years doesn't seem as if it has been quite so traumatic. Our winter has seemed milder than usual, maybe because so much of the chill kept flowing farther south. The dogs have enjoyed worked an attaining their first level of Obedience and Rally titles and are now ready to start working on their off leash skills. Work is work. Scraping ice off car windows is the same as it has always been just not as frequent as winters of history.
The rig is cleared out and waiting for some warmer weather so that I can wipe down and clean the inside A little better. I did order and get a couple of replacement parts for the screen door and after some preliminary checking have faced the possibility of a few other issues falling in the sale price "as is" category.
I am also hoping to make a quick trip in my mini van to Brewster, New York, to visit with my son and his family between work contracts towards the end of this month.
I would like to put forth for consideration another tradition for the first of each month. There are many reasons that past members grow silent. If you miss seeing someone's posts maybe it is time to reach out to check in with them. Everybody works through the complications of life differently. Some are more comfortable sharing life in general and personal detours in particular than others, especially on public places. So maybe pick up a virtual cup of coffee or tea and text (or call or email) someone you might have been thinking of that you haven't heard from for awhile. It gives the heart strength to be remembered.

Morning all.
Cheryl and Peggy if you can hang out near Savannah for a couple weeks, they do up St. Patrick's Day really worth the crowds! Highly recommend it. I was at at state park a bit away but bus service meant no driving/parking. I'm glad I did it and would again.
I think I have everything necessary to do my taxes so that's on the agenda for me at some point this week.

Waiting to move to another spot in this campground, but occupants are waiting until the last minute to leave. Supposed to be a little warmer today in southern Florida. I know it dropped down to 50 last night and was really chilly.
Going to head over to see my uncle in the hospital today and take my aunt shopping for cosmetics, which she had but claimed someone stole. I strongly suspect she hid them and then forgot because her room is locked from other residents, and I cannot imagine caregivers stealing used cosmetics. Anyway, will make a trip to Target to let her pick out replacements.
Found a place to store my two extra hubcaps. I had lost two and bought a set of four, so now i have two extra when the next ones pop off! My underneath storage is pretty full and the hubcaps were large, but I wrapped them in bubble wrap and fit them inside one another, so they went in. Got to someday do more cleaning and sorting.

Good Morning, same ole, same ole with me. Am feeling very tired lately. Am enjoying women’s basketball and softball when it is on TV. Also reading.
Judy, loved your description of the lunch place you took your DIL to. Also, glad you were there for her when she got that horrible reaction.
Tina have enjoyed your descriptions of traveling in Alaska. Brought back many wonderful memories for me. I went with two other rigs. However, I did a caravan with six rigs many years ago. That turned out well as we decided we were not obligated to stay together every minute. We could break off and return whenever we felt like it.
My resting pulse has been good in pulmonary rehabilitation . Today it is racing. Have no idea why, so I am taking it easy.

I forgot Rabbits again. I was talking to the dog and cats at midnight. It's noon and I'm not dressed. I didn't get my breakfast cooked before the Sunday Morning show. Was cooking my breakfast and my step daughter called and talked to me for 30 minutes so it will be a late lunch.
Cheryl, I'm enjoying your pictures of Georgia. I hope to make it to Savannah and Charleston while I can still walk. I spent the summer in Beaufort, North Carolina when my first husband was in the Marines. Didn't get to do much sight seeing, mostly went to the beach when we could. That was fine and dandy until they made everyone get out of the water because of sharks. After that I was only going in about knee deep.
I wanted to wash the camper but it is still windy and hasn't warmed up much. I think I'll try to mow if I can get the mower started before it decides to rain again.

Happy March to all. I did remember "rabbits".
Been busy here in Arizona. I can't believe how quickly the time has passed. I have been here since November 17th and will be leaving in just over 2 weeks.
It has been a very good winter here. Only a few cold mornings. It has been capris and short sleeved shirts every day.
I will be back in Alberta before the end of March for family business, however I am storing the rv in Idaho and will be back down to do some travelling in May and June. I am very much looking forward to being with the granddaughters again soon.
Not much else is happening with me.
Safe travels and good health to everyone.
Brenda

We were still watching tv at midnight and talking, so I said rabbits as I headed to bed and again thus morning. Hope that helps! Not much exciting here and I can't plan trips until I know when the eye Dr will do the upgrade and when the VA will schedule last exam. So it's focus on here for now. Wishing all a Happy March.

Hiya travel pals! Is it really March?!? Not much on the travel front for me. But do try for local day trips to new adventures. A few days ago Sandi and I met at the Crocker Museum in Sacramento to see the Redmond Granville exhibit. Highly recommend! Love his California poppies. Best for March!

As usual, I forgot to say “rabbits.” I second Diana‘s recommendation for the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. We had a great time and there’s so much to see we may need another trip.
Not much going on here at home except I do have to prepare for two upcoming parole hearings for two of the three guys who murdered my son Joshua. One hearing will be on March 11 and the other on March 19. It’s so depressing because a new law in California now gives special consideration to defendants who committed crimes when they were less than 26 years old. Because of that new law there’s a good chance two murderers will be out of prison this month and moving into unsuspecting communities. It breaks my heart that so much consideration is given to murderers and no consideration is given to the victim like my son who is locked in his grave forever. The only thing they’ll hear will be the pleas of his mother but those pleas will make no difference in the final decision. My son will never be paroled from the grave but these two murders most likely will soon be out living their lives and committing more crimes.
In addition there’s a new law in California that overturns long-standing laws and now states an individual cannot be convicted of murder if they were not actually present at the murder scene. One of the above defendants who is asking for parole is also asking that his murder conviction be removed from his sentence because he was actually not at the scene. However he was the leader of the gang, he was the one who planned where they would go that night. When he saw my son and his friend walking he gave loaded guns to his friends and sent them to rob and murder my son and then drove them away from the scene leaving my son to die. His sentence was 25 years to life. The new law could remove that sentence. The hearing for this will be sometime in April or May. This is all madness,
Sorry, maybe you can sense my frustration.
Safe travels to all.
Sandi

I didn't remember to say rabbits but I had a good laugh about rabbits this morning. My cousin said her son had been out spraying rabbits. I'm like why is he spraying rabbits do you have a lot in your yard? My mind is racing around as to how one would spray rabbits when when she said no, they are ceramic rabbits. He is getting them ready for an art project for one of the classes he teaches.
Martha, I've always thought Beaufort, North Carolina would be a pretty place to visit from the pictures I've seen.

Well here is a big surprise, I sure didn't say RABBITS, dang it. I always end up talking to the dog first. Well ya know she likes to be welcomed in the morning as soon as she sees the whites of my eyes.
Spent the weekend up in Salem area visiting my BFF Laura. We had a fun weekend. I got the tour of her house, yard, and surrounding area. She was an awesome tour guide as I had never been out there before. I just followed my GPS to get there and hoped for the best. Lucky me took me right to her community. We had a great Mexican dinner at a local restaurant in Dallas, then last night we found a really good BBQ place, I got enough for 2 meals so brought mine home. Laura will eat the rest of hers today also.
We went to an RV show in Eugene it was pretty big but nothing I was looking for AND the wind started and the rain fell from the sky...........was freeing but we warmed up well in the car.
Did some retail therapy for Laura and she got lots of really good stuff for her new home. It is a great place for her. Not too much work but enough to keep her out of trouble (more or less)
Drove home today and am now settled in my recliner with a very tired dog. Not from the trip but from keeping track of Beedo (Laura's cat). They got along great. Beedo even shared some of her toys with Emma. They were fun to watch how each one got jealous if the other was getting attention. She lives in the country and we were out on her back deck surveying the weather situation and having some coffee when the cutest little black and white animal ran by us......................LOL LOL Didnt see him again tho.
Found the picture I took of Emma and Beedo deciding who would get the toy.

I thought of rabbits yesterday told myself to remember after midnight so didn't remember until I was on fb reading something and it was mentioned so to late by then...
got home yesterday late afternoon before dark which is what I as aiming for... got stuff in went back to town to get something to eat so quick McD's and back home was so tired...felt like I did a lot didn't look like it but felt like it..looked at my phone and found out that I had missed like 4 phone calls from my sister in law really thought something was wrong... turned out they went seeking warm (they live in Iowa) finally found it about Blythe only to find out it's going to turn cool again... so tomorrow we are going to go to Yuma they have never done the prison. will be so good to see them...
today was church then on the first Sunday of the month the singles get together after church for a pot luck then home for the nap...so needed and although it will be fun to see SIL and her husband I was looking forward to doing nothing till I decided to do something... now I have to be ready to go by 10 oh well they will only be here one day then further west I think so glad that I was on the way.. we may even going into MX need to find the pass card... trouble is when I go for a few days I bring some of my stuff in and it's been too windy and I was just too tired to take them back out which makes it hard to get to where I think my pass card is... that windy is brisk and cold... hoping for less wind tomorrow...
