Windy Sunday

Good morning gals! :D

It got really windy last night here and the house even felt like it was shaking! When I woke up this morning, it was calm, but now the winds have picked up again and looks very gusty outside. Might help my paint dry faster tho!

My friends, Debbie and Dave, are coming over later to look at the porch window that needs a screen and get that done for me.

Gotta do laundry today or I will have to go buy new clothes and undies for work tomorrow  .

Have a good day!

Bright and sunny in my part of northern California today. It was 73 yesterday. Sure could use rain. Yesterday, sitting on edge of bed my lower back went into spasm, so didn't get much done yesterday. A little better today, all part of the ongoing back issues since early in Navy career. Did get laundry done! Tomorrow son has Urology appointment, then later in week he has dentist checkup. Rest of week revolves around my back, Curves, and the house, plus time to plug numbers into Turbo Tax.
Have a good day everyone.

We had another sunny day and it was 73 here too. Didn't do much but wait on my sister. She was coming with her granddaughter and the boyfriend to pick up more furniture. She can't get them moving in the morning so didn't show up here until 1:30. My sister is going to be 10:00 getting home after they unload everything. I'm just glad I got rid of more stuff. I need to go back to filling the trash can every week. I manage to get rid of a lot of stuff when I was doing that.

Velda, hope your back gets better. I just hope I don't go through that again.

Some of my painting projects...I will be painting the trim around the windows on the side and back of the porch as well.

The trim around the deck window and the trim on the shed...

The difference of the white colors is just from the light, both sides are the same off white. I painted the rest of the roof trim in teal later.

front of shed finished. The metal sculptures on the chairs (palm tree and lizard) will be going on the upper wall)

porch window. I will also paint around the slider door.

sure don't know what I did but lost the whole posting... now do I want to rehash all I had to say??? not sure
suffice it to say rain and more rain in the desert and on trip to Vegas
Shadow has vet appointment on Friday then plan on returning to Q on Saturday...my niece is coming in either very late on Monday night or Tues early she wants to repaint the living room so lots to do to get ready then due to the condition of the carpet and my sister's disability in getting around she is trying to see if she can replace the carpet with vinyl plank... it's suppose to be so that it's harder to slip on it... so in my mind it was the living room and the hall she was replacing...then today she mentioned the master bedroom which has been a catch all to put put stuff so I was trying to figure out where to put all the stuff from there then she said tonight that actually all the rooms so where in the world are we going to stash everything I wouldn't worry about it but she can't and her son can't do it so will need to do what I can while here... it's mind boggling trying to figure it out...
I would get a cube and put it all in there then bring stuff in as a place is made. she used to craft make cards really pretty ones... but hasn't since her knee problems I would sell somehow all the paper and replace it if and when she starts to craft...but there are always reason's why it can't be done...
today would be my grandfather's 133 birthday and my youngest sisters birthday she would be 60 hard to realize when she was 13 when she died... grandpa was 102 or 103 not sure which
Liz so good to see you posting you have been missed
