Sunday, no peace here!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Goodness it's Sunday and usually my day to kick back and try to be a lump. Aint gonna happen today!! ;) Still have to much to do. Bedroom and stuff are 97% done. That is where I had most everything of mine stored, in my bedroom. It has been a major chore to go thru all the boxes I brought with me. Good grief the stuff I have given away, tossed out and packed up for Haven of Mercy!!! Honestly it's stuff that I never, ever had thought I would get rid of. But to go thru them, resort and repack has been a wicked chore. And I've still kept to much stuff, I know I have!!! I told Kelly maybe we will stay someplace for 2 or 3 days and I'll go thru the boxes again and throw out more?

Finally made myself quit last night. Needed to get stuff loaded and over to the store room while we still had a little bit of daylight left. Didn't make it. Then we went to supper at our fave Chinese restaurant. The thought of fixing anything up was more than I wanted to do. Making myself quit last eve was a sanity move?? I was so tired that I had started simply to move stuff from one spot to another without actually doing anything with it. When I realized what I was doing I got so frustrated! :x That's when I quit. Hopefully today will be better and when I set something down it will either be in a box or in the trash!!!! :D At least I can hope.

Well coffee is waiting and I picked up some banana nut muffins at the store after supper last night along with a bag of blueberry muffins. So come on and have a seat!!!

Hope everyone has a great day. Hope nobody got buried in the snow, hope your travel miles were good ones and stay away from the volcanoes!!! Remember your suppose to stay safe!!

Love to all

ok, I'm awake now but its certainly a little chilly in here, gotta put on some socks and
booties. Picked up a few flowerpots yesterday from a friend and did some repairs
on the fence and shed. Will give the pots a coat of paint, load them with rocks about
halfway, cause they are BIG pots and then decide where I want them. Will also get
my uniform shirts washed cause I didn't do it yesterday. Soos should be in Florida now
right? Hope she's have a great time.
Have a good day and be safe.

Good afternoon all,

Echo, Im tired just reading about your weekend of moving. I remember those days (9 yrs ago) and relate to just putting stuff from one box into another. Don't overdue, it's not worth it. Take it easy and good luck on your move.

We had a weather system come through on Friday to Saturday. Rain, sleet, hail and finally snow. We had about 5" of snow, the wet heavy kind. The ground was too warm for it to stick for any length of time. The puppies were a joy to watch in the snow. You could just hear them thinking, I can see it but can't feel it, what is it but my paws are cold and wet? They had a good time playing in the snow. I love throwing snowballs for them and having the balls disappear in the snow and the puppies not understanding where the snowballs went. My bad. Anyway, the snow is melting rapidly, and I didn't even have to shovel the walkway this time. Yea!!!!!

Okay everyone, take care and stay safe, especially those on the move.

Oh Echo I can relate to the headache of what you are doing. It was a nightmare trying to empty out our house back in 2001. We stuffed stuff in storage for 6 yrs and then Dan dropped the bomb and said " Get it out of storage!" We crammed stuff in the RV two winters and had the rest in my girlfriends Attic. We have one more load to bring back down in Sept. I have had a yard sale each March in Yuma to pitch stuff still and will have another one next year to make sure we never have clutter again!!
Take time to breathe! Once it is all done you will sigh with relief and then the fun begins!
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
