Finally have a day off to get stuff done! Went to the DMV and got that done. "Only" $3000 instead of $8000. Stopped at the bank to deposit my tips and then went to IHOP for breakfast. Need to fit in a haircut for a neighbor and then head to my Dr appointment. The golf cart is coming home later for a cost of $650!!! :o Needed a new charger after all. Glad my paychecks are bigger now with all the hours I have been working!

Then get caught up on cleaning around here. Haven't completely unpacked yet from Q, including unloading the trailer. Didn't get to that on Sunday because of the Super Bowl party.

A beautiful day today. Mid 60's, sunny and no wind. :D

Expenses always come in bunches don’t they Barbie. Been there done that. Hope this time, the golf cart will be good to go for a long time.

I didn’t go far today other than run a quick errand to the local EZ mart up the road. Needed some AAA batteries for my new home weather station. It’s up and running now and still calibrating itself. Spent the rest of the morning gluing down some vinyl floor tiles that are popping loose in the basement. Used up a small tub of glue so will get more tomorrow. I think the original ow er put them down back when and some have just come loose. Furnace tech came and installed a new thermostat for me and then the dogs and I took our afternoon walk. So that pretty well took care of my day.

I got home about an hour ago and I'm burnt out. I waited all morning for my sister, her granddaughter and granddaughter's boyfriend. I told them they could have what ever they wanted out of the old trailer. Because of all the rain we couldn't get a vehicle anywhere near the trailer. I'm surprised one of us didn't fall down in the mud. At least I was smart enough to bring rubber boots. They filled up the trunk of the car with kitchen stuff. They are trying to rent an apartment. Then I brought my son to pick up his car at the shop and went to Walmart.

I stopped at Petsmart and got a harness for Sugar. I thought I would have trouble putting it on her because if you mess with her at all she lays down. She must have had a harness on before because I held it up and she stuck her head right in.

I was going to make a King Cake Bread Pudding today but that didn't get done. Maybe in the morning. I cut that recipe out a year ago and have been trying to keep up with it for a year.

I think I might have to take some Aleve. Hope I don't aggravate my hips again.
