Good morning ladies!

I am skipping out on golf this morning! It is 46 degrees with 20+ mph winds, making the windchill (yes! Windchill in the desert! ) at around 36 degrees! No golf for me! I am staying cuddled up in bed this morning!

It's 47, here in my part of northern California and bright sunshine out with breeze. Had quite windy afternoon yesterday. I have a six month check with my Dr today then lots to to do's to get ta done! Hope all have a good day.

The breeze makes this downturn in temps quite chilly. I cut Ty's walk this morning short. I'm going to try again shortly. Meantime I'm watching the ducks in the pond from the warmth of the inside of the rig. Going out to dinner tonight with my friends. They have tomorrow off work, so we'll go places tomorrow, cold or not.

That is a bit on the chilly side for golf today, Barbie. Being from MN though, you know us northerners call that a “heat wave”. And when it hits the 40’s later, we are in sweatshirts enjoying it. But it’s a matter of acclimation to where you live.

After having some in the 30’s temps this past weekend and last week, all with freezing drizzle, light drizzle and light snow thrown in, , we are now in the low to mid 20’s with a 12-15 degree Wind chill. But have also seen some sun today. These temps froze up and hardened the snowmobile trails that are one of our walking areas in nice weather or times of light snow other than the busy snowmobile season. But today, I passed the trail groomer on my way to town, grooming and packing the trails and there was hardly a snowmobiles out today, being midweek. So when I got home, decided to take the dogs and head for the trails while the going was good. Turned out to be a good move. Granted, the wind was cold, but ince we got into the woods, that helped block the wind. The trail was flat, smooth and hard along the edges, so I had good walking. The dogs couldn’t wait to get there. Like trying to hold back a team if runaway horses They knew it meant at least two miles of freedom to run and explore, the which of they vicariously did once I let them off their leashes. Oh, the joy! It’s fun watching them run from point to point, checking every track and interesting thing they could find in the snow. By the time we got into the last quarter mile toward home and I had them releashed, they were happy and tired. Been a month since we were last out that way.

Beth, you sound like you are enjoying seeing and visiting with your friends. Hope it warms up for you.

So, just wanted to chime in and say hi. Have a pot of chili on the stove which is smelling pretty good, so time to go indulge and watch the local news.

it is so cold here in Q freeze warnings were out for last night and tonight and the wind is never ceasing so tired of it and it is soooooooo cold
still need to put tags on the plates... yep out of date but I need to scrape the old off as it's three high and it's been too windy and too cold for this old lady
up north in Salt Lake City they closed schools due to a winter storm and 1-80 has been closed more in the past week due to snow and wind than I think it's been open...so I guess the cold and the wind is better...
by weekend it's suppose to be better we will hope
checking in after games at my friends house will be going home in a few hopefully I can get Shadow out for a quick pee he is reluctant to go down the steps but hates me to pick him up so we have a tug o war going on. Tomorrow probably going to Parker then Havasu on Thurs why not do the same on one day hate the thoughts of someone taking off with the generator while I am shopping would rather do two trips... that said I may have to stop at Hobby Lobby might have miss judged on the yarn if so I will need to run in and get some and they are in Havasu as well as Pet's Mart want to stop there really quick
think I am going to get a better cooler so that ice will last longer and deal with the fridge when I get home
need to get the hoses looked and and see if there are any leaks going on... and if I get a working generator that will help loads...
that said I need to go before it''s dark

Windchill today in southern Florida was about 80 degrees! (Sorry, could not resist.)

And did you know that I was a tourist attraction today? I pulled into the world's smallest post office along Tamiami Trail today to drop off some postcards for my grandkids. There was one of those 15-passenger buses loaded with Chinese tourists, mostly very sweet little old ladies. So, as I drove in, a couple of the ladies were in the parking lot watching me and looking at my license plate and walking around my motorhome, amazed at its size. When I got out, they wanted to know a lot of things, like did I really drive that huge thing by myself? Did I come all the way from Ohio? How old was I? (The lady asking me said she was the same age as me and gestured that she could never drive that huge thing!) Most of this was through gestures and their young driver-translator. (I should have asked if they were a large family or where in China they had come from.)

Anyway, several of them wanted photos of themselves with their arm around me in front of the motorhome! It was really fun, actually, and I got several hugs. Then about an hour later, I realized that with my weak immune system, I had been hugging people from one of the most dangerous places in the world, at least right now, from the corona virus!! Anyway, I think the chances are infinitesimally small, but who cares? It was a great experience for all of us!

Judy, as I was reading your post, I was thinking about them being from China and if you were at risk or not. Hope they are all healthy! Sounds like a fun experience tho!

Did a haircut on my neighbor this morning before going to work. It was super busy today and I didn't get off my feet for over 4 hours. Made almost $100 in tips tho!

It was windy most of the day. Another freeze warning for tonight here and possibly more wind. Will start warming up tomorrow.

I called the escrow office today and was told they do not transfer titles for mobile homes/park models and that is the buyers responsibility to do that thru the DMV. I did figure out what the house is worth without the land and will only have to pay about $2800 instead of $8000. Still a lot of money but much less than I was first told.

Back to work tomorrow for 8 hours and then have Thursday off. Lots of things to do that day tho, including my annual physical.
