Good morning. I think I’m beginning to see a theme here, always cold! At least we have sun and it’s supposed to get up to the 30’s today. Maybe it’ll help melt some of the sheet of ice that is now my driveway. I can only hope! Friends in Myrtle Beach are suffering from these low temps too! But at least being on the beach has to make it better! Not much happening around here the last few days. I did have a friend stop by yesterday so spent a pleasant time catching up on all her news. Saw the pictures of the Q’Side gtg. Looks like everyone was having a good time. Coffee is done here so suppose I should get something accomplished before the day gets away from me! Have a great day.

Hi Sharon. Stay warm! I'm sneaking in while it's still morning here, just barely. What fun it was yesterday with this year's gang. And, yes, like Thanksgiving or Christmas, I ate too much. So Ty and I had a good walk this morning and in a little bit I'm going back to walk the big tent. I'm only taking a few dollars, so should be safe against any other big purchases.
Happy Wednesday everyone.

Good morning everyone! It's another cloudy 55 degree day in northern California. Other than Curves and daily projects, not much happening other than son running a fever again. Seems he catches every virus that floats by. Have fun in the Q everyone. Have heat/AC guy coming again Friday because thermostat keeps defaulting back to 75 no matter what I set. At least I have heat.

Warming up nicely here. Went into pool for water jogging.,
Pulmonary class yesterday was VERY good. It is going to be worth every penny. Go 2x/week for 8 was.
Cheryl, I bought an expensive mobility scooter because it advertises 10 miles on one full charged battery! After the last problem, where I ran out of electricity in the street, my daughter called and I emailed really upset notices to the dealer. He came out and changed batteries the next day! As the batteries are in closed in a box, I have no idea what he put in! I am happy now. Incidentally, the scooter has large springs which I am happy about as the streets and sidewalks are sometimes very rough. I do have to cross the trolly tracks once and awhile too.
I read a very good book about a couple who ran a store I think up the new river. The river that goes out of Fort Lauderdale. The traded with the Siminoles. And, the woman, whose name I cannot remember, was teaching the Siminoles to read and write! Their home was preserved down in Fort Lauderdale when I visited. It has probably been moved by now as the property was in such an expensive area. Does this ring any bells after your visit to the museum?
Judy, glad you got setteled into your Midway RV Park OK.

We never did have any sun and it started raining about noon. I went out to start the mower this morning and of course it wouldn't start. Thank goodness my neighbor heard me messing with it and came and got it started for me. The temperature was about 45 and after a few minutes my hands were freezing. I finally had to come get some gloves. You shouldn't have to mow if you needs gloves to keep your hands warm. So glad I got most of the yard mowed before the rain. When I went around the end of the house I noticed water on the slab where there shouldn't be water. I got a flashlight and looked under the house. The big pipe that goes from one end of the house to the other has come apart in the middle. It's always something. I finally found a plumber that will come in the morning. I guess I could go stay in the motorhome but I have an old portapottie I can use tonight.

Went and picked up the motorhome. The next project is to get 2 new tires.
