Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday Halloween Eve

Mornin' ladies~~~

Hope everyone is well today. Has anyone heard from Lyn? Sure hope she's OK.

Currently in Bowling Green, KY with today & tomorrow rain expected and a freeze expected tomorrow night, then back to the 60s for the weekend. Did the short tour of Mammoth Cave yesterday. Huge? Yes, but not as pretty as others. Not sure what I'll do for the rest of my time here except maybe looking at routes again.

That's it from me. Have a good day ladies.

Good morning. Crisp and clear out but the news is hollering about how cold it is at 26 and both my thermometers are reading 43 and 44 on either side of my house. Hmmmmm must be living in the banana belt today. The wind has been pretty bad yesterday and this morning, not quite as bad. Gusts to 35 yesterday. Leaves are back x 10. LOL was a windy drive up the freeway yesterday to get my RV winterized but it is done now so I dont have to worry.

Today will go over and start taking stuff out of the RV. I have so much stuff in there from when I was living in it on assignments and probably only used half of it. I am planning on selling my Motorhome in the near future and getting something smaller now that I am just going camping. So time to start moving things out.

Joan, ha ha ha ha Going from a 35ft Class A to a Teardrop, I think not. I am not even sure I would fit. I am thinking a Class C would work just fine.

I agree, Karen. I would have loved a teardrop when I was in my 20s, and maybe even 30s, but I need a real bathroom with a shower and toilet these days! Getting terribly spoiled and lazy these days.

Long day for me! I worked from 8 to 2 at my regular shop and then was asked if I would fill in at the other shop for the closing shift for a stylist who called in sick. So I went home for a bit before heading back to work for 4 more hours. I work tomorrow at my regular shop from 8-2. Then have Friday off! Not very busy at either shop today. Tomorrow will probably be slow too, being Halloween.

My back is still feeling fine. So grateful that it healed up so fast and wasn't serious.

Nine fires broke out around LA today. One just started about an hour ago in Fullerton. Wind gusts were as high as 80+ mph! :o Semi trucks were being blown over on a freeway along a pass just north of LA. One fire that was threatening the Reagan Museum north of LA was kept away from the museum because a herd of goats had eaten all the grass and dead brush around it creating a fire break. Someone had a brilliant idea there! More high winds expected thru tomorrow afternoon.

Got my golf cart back today! The guy dropped it off for me while I was at work. Cost is $150. So glad I got a second opinion!

I agree on having a bathroom. I found the smallest trailer I could find that had a real bathroom. I would also feel very claustrophobic in a Teardrop. I need to be able to stand up and move around some. Even my tents were 6 ft high so I could stand up in them.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

When I first started researching the "RV thing" (LOL - after reading along on this forum for a while) I thought a teardrop would be just the ticket. I figured that the car I had at the time - a tiny Chevy Aveo - could pull a tiny trailer (um. . . not!). I hadn't actually seen one (just photos) so when one came up on Ebay in Yreka (Ca.), about 150 miles from where I lived at the time, I just about jumped in my car to go take a look. Something or other came up, and I ended not going to look at it.

I was still hot and bothered for a teardrop (spouting off to all who would listen), one day my boss came in and told me that there was a teardrop near her house that she drove by on the way to work. She told me where it was, and I went to take a look.

I am a fairly large-ish woman, and when I finally was able to see one "in person" I realized that a teardrop was definitely not in my future. Nothing against teardrops, and those who like them - but not for me.
