Yep, it's 34 now with a lovely high of 38. Brrr lol. I'm hoping Ty will do his business quickly when we go out. Remember it was in the 70's a couple days ago. This tells me it's time to move on. I'm fine with the overnight cold but dang, I'm a wuss and want it warmer during the day.

Then again I could be in Montana. Have you seen the snow they got? Yikes!

Off to get ready for work. T minus two!

Good morning all. The weather here is supposed to be clear and warm today. Not ready for what you’re experiencing, Beth. But in a couple of days you’ll be able to find warmer temps! Yesterday I got back from a couple of days in Benezette with Kelly (elkriverrats). We had a great time looking, watching and hearing the elk. Was a bit quieter then it’s been in the past but still fun. Kelly took a hike on one of the trails near the campground and I just chilled and walked Rascal while she was gone. Saturday when we got there there was a big group there with their horses so was fun to watch. We left yesterday morning about 10 and my hour trip home took closer to 3! I saw a sign that said Clearfield so decided that I would take it and hit Lowe’s on my way home. What it didn’t tell me was the road would turn into dirt and rocks and over a couple of mountains! It was rainy and foggy, otherwise the scenery would have been beautiful! No more signs that I saw from that point on and no roads coming into it! So add another “adventure” to my growing list! On top of that my neighbor texted me to warm me that they’ve started tearing up the street for new water main. Luckily I was still able to get Lola in the driveway and probably there she’ll have to stay. It’s going to be hard enough getting the car in and out. But all in all it was a successful trip! The weekend was beautiful and rain didn’t start until we were getting ready to leave! And although there was only 15 amp service I made it work. Not exactly boondocking but close enough! Rascal, as usual loved our walks and watching all the comings and goings. He wasn’t the least bit bothered by the horses and getting close to them. I was a bit nervous getting him close to them but he just looked and kept on his way. So was a great way to end out the month and probably the last trip of the summer! Time to think of winterizing and getting Lola covered. Definitely glad not to be living in Montana right now! Have a great day! (I did remember “rabbits” this morning!”

Yes, on that rabbit thing this morning. Now packed and ready. Leaving in a couple hours. The temperature here in Ohio is expected to be up in the 90's this afternoon. I am heading for temperatures that are predicted to remind me of last winter out west. I am planing on layers and rain wear. Hello Scotland!

Good Morning, Tina, have a fantastic trip!
I only remembered Rabbits, after I had talked to Benji this morning. Love that picture of Lola! Asked the daughter to drive me to the library yesterday. Can’t even walk the 5 blocks there right now.
Beth, like your new car. Annie, I guess I was the only one who liked picture #3. #2 was too busy for me. It was the beautiful horse that caught my eye in #3.
Nice and sunny here. Still water jogging which does not cause SOB. Otherwise, lying around reading
Lyn.

I stayed awake to make sure I "talked to the rabbits" as it crossed the midnight mark. Lots going on as I prepare for the PowWow trip, and now have an unexpected trip across town tomorrow to meet with DAV(Disabled vets) representative on my own regard. So today we are doing shopping and fuel car, then I'll have to scramble to get packing close to done to fit in being gone part of tomorrow.
Tina have a wonderful trip! Lyn, take care while you await solutions to your health issues, good you can still do water exercise which will help keep your strength up.
Local news says we got down to 48 overnight, almost 10 degrees below what our lows had been, but by 9, temperature up to 58. Fall is here. sun is brightly shining.
Beth you have a safe run south towards warmer climate!
I gotta get to rousting son from his slumber so we can head to Costco/Walmart for food and car fuel for the week. I've decided to do as I did in June and fuel van on way out of town on thursday. Hopefully I'm getting quicker and more efficient at this loading up business, this is my 3rd trip this year!
Have a great day. I can't believe some still have summer like temps. I think we are pretty done with that for this year.

I said "rabbits" just after 11pm hoping it would count in another time zone. :? I was so sleepy, I didn't think I could stay awake til midnight, which I didn't. Forgot to say rabbits this morning tho. Hope the first one counts!

Being lazy this morning. Laying in bed with Lola, with a nice breeze blowing over us!

Have a good day! Safe trips to those on their way to someplace fun!

You are no doubt either at the airport or on a plane by now, Tina. Have a good and adventurous trip!! If I had an unlimited amount of money, you would be seeing me there and about a dozen other places I can only dream about.

Chilly here, but warming up. Dropped to 34 last night but supposed to get to a whopping 59 today and 63 tomorrow. The good thing is that it is partly cloudy, so sun is warming RV up a bit. It is really, really hard to drag myself from a warm bed on a normal morning, let alone a cold one!!

And I even remembered rabbits.

Oh, sometime during the night last night I awoke and somehow remembered rabbits. All I can say is I worked hard today and think what I planned to be a half day tomorrow will be much longer. Just hope I can finish. No biggie if I have to work some on Thursday, but I'll do my best. I thought about going back for an hour or two tonight, but I'm too tired.

I can't wait to start seeing or at least hearing from Tina about her trip. And those of you going to Oregon, please keep in touch. I love seeing all the traveling posts.

Ok, time to walk Ty and I'll be going to bed early.

I said rabbits about 2 after midnight... that makes sense Barbie after all the song say's it's 5 o'clock...Somewhere... it's been a cold day although by the time I woke up at about 10ish or later I didn't have frozen water that is a plus.. didn't put the insulation on the hose either will do that tomorrow hopefully
did get done today what I planned on a load of laundry was debating if I should do the other batch or two today or tomorrow when I went up to the house to change the laundry over half the living room's carpet was torn up when I went up later to see how much they got done all the carpet was up and gone... so don't think tomorrow will be a good day to finish the laundry good thing I still have another pair of pants... as they will be working on the floor putting in new flooring so will not worry about it for a few days what I really needed to have washed I did today.. did dishes.. and spent some time doing busy stuff.. I decided a few months ago that I was going to write down the books that I had read to often I've reread not meaning to.. so started that well didn't like the notebook I choose so decided to recopy into a 3 ring binder much easier but like I said busy work... but about done and then I can find something else equally busy work...
going to call sil and see if she will be home on either Friday or Monday and see if I can come over and work on the baby quilt hopefully Friday as it's General Conference and I like to do hand work while listening so that would give me something to work on ...
need to start getting ready to leave can't believe that it is Oct. already... Tina have a ball in Scotland a dream trip for sure
you all have a good day

Checking in for October.
I agree with you JudyB, if $$ were no problem, I'd retire & travel more.
Tina, hope you have fun - can't wait to hear all about it.
Lynn, continue to take it easy. Keep us informed about how things go. Glad you get to keep up your water exercise & I know you love reading so that's good.
Hope everyone going to the POWWOW has fun. Looks like you're going to have great weather.

Spent a few days in Kansas City last week to celebrate 25 years working at CFCA/Unbound. Got back on Saturday in time for baby shower for my next little grand on Sunday. A funny story... They revealed the baby's name at the shower. Olivia has been calling him 'Taffy' & does NOT like the chosen name. They conferenced me in on a conversation they were having with her last night as she had agreed to go with whatever I said. Tried to convince her that Taffy was a good name for a puppy (they already have 2 dogs) or a cat (not going to get one), but not for a baby. Not sure she bought it, she was still saying she's going to call him Taffy when he's born when we hung up.

Working this week & then heading out on Saturday to spend a week helping out with my twin nieces in WA while my bro goes to a conference. My other brother has moved up there too so I'm looking forward to catching up with him & see his new place (a 500 sq ft. cabin). And spend quality time with the 'girls' & my SIL.

While I love seeing everyone, I need more down time between these trips.
Loving the cooler weather. :)
Take care,
Catherine

I actually got some things done today! :o

I finally put up the scarves for my living room windows. Needed to install the hooks (bought metal curtain tie backs to use) to hang them on. Took awhile to get them to drape just right. Re-installed the paper towel holder in a different spot than where the previous owner had it. Now in a much more convenient spot. Took out the trash, washed a load of laundry and then took that to the community laundry room to dry since my little dryer takes forever to dry just a few things. I only had enough quarters to do one load in the dryer. Just washed all my pants so I have some clean ones for work. Will get more quarters so I can do the rest of the laundry later this week.

I went to WM for a few things. Got a body pillow for the trailer. The head of the bed is on the curved wall in the front of the trailer so I thought I could use a body pillow to fill in the lower part of the curve above the bed so I can sit up comfy to read at night without being hunched over. Hoping that works as planned.

Still got dishes to do. Need to empty the dishwasher and do another load. It is a very small dishwasher so I need to wash larger things by hand. I don't always do the things that are on my list but I figure if I am working on something that needs doing, I am making progress even if it isn't on the list yet.

Another beautiful day today. One or two more before the heat comes back by the weekend.

Sheila, that is what I was thinking too...it's midnight somewhere!
