Sun should be coming out shortly and turn the afternoon into a nice one. Meantime here's a picture I stole from FB. Love it. A groom is helping his best man get ready for the wedding.

Hi Beth & everyone!

It's after noon here but I know in the west, it is still morning.

Beth, that's a nice care! Steve & I tow a Ford Focus, also. Ours has a manual transmission, but if I remember correctly, I think your last car was a manual, so was curious if this one is, too. All we have to do is put it in neutral and make sure the emergency brake isn't on. Easy peasy.

We are back in Ocala, arriving yesterday afternoon. As much as we loved the big trip, it's good to settle down and know that we're not going anywhere with the motorhome anytime soon. I played in church this morning and everyone was happy to see us and it was good to be there, as well. Today we want to get our yard ornaments out and make it look like we're home.

Irmi, mine's an automatic. I have to disconnect the negative battery cable, but otherwise about the same as you.

Beth, I've heard you can add a battery disconnect switch to do that rather than messing with cable. Will you have switch put in?

Beautiful day here after a busy evening yesterday weather wise. Sure was nice to hear the rain though.

Mandy, we had a battery disconnect switch put on my Mercedes after it flooded, as the battery was draining off something, that the mechanic never found. So he put a battery disconnect on it, and after I turn the car off, I turn the disconnect switch to off and it's so easy. So if Beth sees this, I hope she considers it, instead of having to disconnect that cable each time. Thanks for bringing this up.

I might put the switch on but on this car they already have the cable running from the box. It's a matter of unscrewing, then rescrewing. Really easy. Except when someone does it for me and tightens it beyond my strength.

Beth, that photo is priceless!!

Didn't get to church but watched the livestream of it on Youtube. We had an ice cream social at the clubhouse this afternoon. Met two more couples and had great conversations. One of them has a relative who lives right by where I grew up in MN. Both women are former hair stylists. One couple followed me back to my house to check out my golf cart batteries. The water in them is full so that is not a problem. We plugged it in again and chatted for awhile and then checked again but didn't come up any. He checked everything but couldn't figure out why it wasn't charging. May have to call the place I bought it from, altho I really don't want to deal with the sales guy I bought it from. I finally got him off my back about going out with him.

Another wonderfully cool, breezy night! In fact, today is really nice. I didn't turn the AC on until about 3pm.

Need to get some stuff done yet, like laundry, trash and dishes...

made Sunday dinner... Chicken Picatta if that is spelled right... with rice and broccoli and salad Sil went and picked all the tomatoes it's going to get cold should have covered the plants but it's late and probably too late anyway to save them... it's ok that way what planters I take with me will be empty easier to transport that way...
think it's the first time I've done Broccoli in the steamer bags usually I forget it's a steamable bag don't think I liked them left in the bag... I much prefer fresh broccoli to frozen so rarely get it that way... but was lazy and didn't want to go to the store yesterday... sitting here wrapped up in a electric throw... it's cold and the furnace has ran all day...
tomorrow I am going to go get the generator so hoping I have made a good choice.

Beth, love the photo.

The dog has such a look of love and concern on his face.
