And well past morning. Nothing exciting to report from Keystone. Worked a bit and did laundry, too. I need to make a run to the post office. Otherwise it's a dull day lol

Nothing too exciting here either. Off to work in a few minutes. Got a message that my brother is doing better and going to a nursing home for transitional care. Good news!

Not much happening here but I like those days. Acupuncture for my feet this
Morning and they feel better already. I had neglected them for way too many months and the neuropathy had been spreading up my ankles. Not fun feeling like your feet are two blocks of wood. Stopped by a couple of Thrift stores
On that side of Cincinnati to see what interesting things may have come out of some one else’s mini van. Am currently sitting down in the alpaca barn at the county fair waiting for a thunder storm to pass. I enjoy seeing the animals and the projects and the next generation of 4-Hers but not missing those days past of spending all day in the barns. It is nice to see smell the good barn smells look at the fair food but not be tempted because I carefully filled up on a huge salad before I came. Hoping to meet up with Miss Sharon tomorrow a bit north of here for lunch for our second annual Ohio GTG.

Hello Beth, Barbie, Tina & all! We landed in Butte Montana yesterday and are staying for two days and will leave in the morning to go to Coeur D'Alene Idaho for one night. Then we'll settle in Seattle for a week before continuing on. The weather is much cooler & windier than I like, but this is all part of the adventure. I'm so glad we bought new tires for the motorhome and car. One less thing to worry about. Enjoy the rest of your day!

After 5 1/2 weeks and to many new parts to count plus full paint job, I
finally got the a truck back this afternoon. Can't tell you how happy I am. They did a great job on it, but I told them I hope to never see them again lol.
Will still be hanging around until Dad's cataract surgery. T minus 18 days until im back on the road (knock on wood).
Have fun and try to stay cool wherever you are.

Hello all!
Had a job interview today, part time order picking and packing in an outdoor/camping store (like a small regional REI). I’ll start sometime next week, they’re family owned and very cool with a very human approach regarding employees.

Mickey, congrats on the new job! Small family owned companies are usually alot better with their employees than large corporations.
I only did 3 haircuts today. I met the two male stylists today. Very nice.
I have the next 3 days off. I think I will concentrate on getting things done around the house now that the storage and trailer things are done for now.
Dinner with the group last night was nice. It was overlooking a golf course with the mountains in the background. Good meal and met some new people. It is really a good way to meet different neighbors each week.

My son, Linda McVey (a member here), and I spent Thursday at the CA state fair. Kind of disappointed. Lots old favorites gone, not much new. We ended up leaving before dark and heading to a local HofBrau for supper. Even the county exhibits were barely there. At least the weather cooperated, barely reaching 90 if that and cooling in afternoon. Cats were glad to see Chris and I at our arrival.
Mickie, congrats on your new job.
Off to bed, very tired after all the walking ?
