Good Morning, Today is the anniversary of my Mother’s birth. I think of her a lot. We had our ups and downs as I was growing up. I also think of the times she did stick up for me when I needed her to do so.
I still feel weak, and am moving slowly. However, am getting things done. Both Benji and I continue to be glad we are home. Martha, I understand everything you are saying. I do understand how Hank feels too!
Irmi, I am enjoying your WY reports. It is a beautiful state.

Monday and Ty's Gotcha Day

Yep, a year ago today Ty came home with me. This crazy boy fills my heart with joy. He goes from crazy dog to sleeping like a log dog in moments lol. We had a good walk about town this morning, then he came to work with me for awhile before coming home to watch our home while I returned to work. When it cools down a bit we'll try for another nice walk.

Now we're both relaxing.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Hi Beth & everyone!

I know Lyn posted this morning on yesterday's Morning Coffee, so maybe you can move that here.

Steve & I went horse back riding today up hill and down hill. It was fun and hope I get the nerve up to do that again. We're leaving here day after tomorrow to continue heading west. It's hard to believe that we've already been on the road for 4 weeks today and we're nowhere close to done.

Have a good rest of the day!

I brought her message here, Irmi.

Lyn, feelings for family are definitely interesting, to say the least. I'm glad your energy is returning, even if slowly.

It is 118* right now!!! That is SO hot!! :o

Got off work, stopped at the library to renew my card from years back when I lived in Lake Elsinore which is in the same county I am in now. Then stopped at WM and now home.

I haven't moved the trailer yet because of the heat. I have an appointment on Wednesday morning to bring it in for a check over so I may as well wait to move it until I bring it there and then drop it off at the storage place after that. No one has complained yet about it being here.

I got a memory foam mattress topper and bedding for the trailer. Once I find the box with my bathroom stuff I will put some of that in there.

Irmi, when I was in West Yellowstone, there was a riding ranch next to the KOA where I was staying that did trail rides. I really wanted to do that, especially since I was stuck without a car for several days, but my sciatica nerve was acting up really bad and I was in a lot of pain. I figured getting on a horse for a few hours probably wasn't gonna be a good idea, so I didn't go. I want to do some trail riding here in the canyons once it cools off. There is a stable that does rides all over into the mountains.

I made the mistake of mentioning the wedding to my SIL yesterday and got a nasty email back from her about it. I don't understand why they are so totally enraged about me not going. And why it is still such an issue. It is a done deal and they are just beating a dead horse. Geez, get over it already! I didn't even read the whole thing or bother to respond. I don't need that crap to bring me down.

Lola's stools are getting better but still very stinky. :o Hoping that gets better soon too!

Everyone here is required to have a sign posted in front of their place with their name and where they are from. I ordered mine a few weeks ago and just got it today. I will take a pic as soon as I get it put up in front. Even tho I technically live here full-time now, I put 'Lake Minnetonka', since that is where I am originally from and spent most of my life.

I have the next two days off so tonight will just relax. Have lots of stuff to do around here tomorrow and Wednesday.

I think about my mom a lot too. She was the only one who never criticized me or let me down, and taught me what unconditional love is. There were never any strings attached to her love for me, like there was with my dad. She never judged me and we rarely ever had an argument, and if we did, we both got over it right away. We were best friends.
