Irmi, I like your priorities on stocking your fridge! I was hoping to get a fridge big enough to have a freezer so I could have ice cream with me too! Mine will work!
Couldn't find a hitch ball of 2 5/16ths anywhere around here so I ordered one from Amazon along with a few other things I need like a new front jack, etc. Won't get that until Tuesday. I will call a couple places around here in the morning to see who can inspect the trailer for me to make sure nothing else is damaged and just an overall check, like the roof, tires, etc.
I have been over to the trailer a couple times today to look over the inside. Doesn't need anything other than a mattress pad to soften that up some, bedding, shower curtain and towels, which I have from the old house that I am not using in the new house, some kitchen stuff, and some personal stuff. It is pretty much move in/travel-ready on the inside. It really looks brand new inside and I love the colors, very earthy and warm.
I checked on-line and I am released from jury duty! Yay! One less thing to worry about!
Now if we have no more earthquakes, I can start to relax and lower my anxiety levels! I can't handle so much excitement (good and bad) in such a short time span!
Also need to check with the vet since Lola's diarrhea is back. I need to get her back on the meds that were working and get back to the food she had before, that she liked.
I think my first trip out with the camper (I need a name) will be to Phoenix, actually. I still have all that ferret stuff I want to get to the ferret shelter out there and that would be a good excuse to spend a couple days trying out the camper too. Maybe by then, Ava will be back home and we can visit.
Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
