Josef and Lark reporting in. Surprise it is hot and humid. Josef went Best of Breed yesterday and picked up several GRCH points towards his next title. Between the judges opinions and the heat in the afternoon he felt that time in the rig with the AC might have been a better choice. Today he earned Best of Opposite to Cindy’s young class girl. He sitill earned one point and he seemed not too upset to learn that he wouldn’t be required to leave the shade or his crate fans behind. Lark and I will head over to cheer on Cindy and her girl. Josef is happy to just stay cool.

Enjoy your day. Play nice, be kind and find some laughter.....

Good for Josef! He did well in spite of the heat!

Not feeling too great today for some reason. Woke up with the runs at 8am and went back to bed and didn't wake up until noon. Doing OK in the bathroom department now, but just feeling blah. Will take it easy today. I would like to make a short run to the thrift store later with some stuff here but will probably skip going to the storage unit today. Being active in the heat won't help me feel any better. It is already 106* and barely after noon. There is plenty to do inside if I get bored.

They came by during the night spraying for mosquitoes. There have been quite a few mosquitoes found out here with West Nile Virus so they are being very aggressive with spraying. Seems kind of odd to me that there would be mosquitoes in the desert in the middle of the dry, hot summer. We have a lot of standing water at the resort tho with all the creeks and ponds.

Have a good weekend!

We met Beth today in Keystone and she guided us to Custer State Park to Needles Highway, that Sheila told me about. We were in a large pickup truck and our friend, Terry, wasn't sure we would make it through. I have to admit, I wasn't either. We did, but next time, we'll do it in my Mercedes.

Irmi I drive a dully and am not sure at all that it would make it up that road. but it is so pretty... always one of my favorite drives... will you take in any of the caves???
took a trip into Idaho Falls dd was in the need for shoes... so the three of us went. meaning the house got ignored... had the weirdest thing happen last night had turned out the light laying waiting for Shadow to let me know he was ready to come up... when there was this loud crash sound sounded like something had fallen... started to get up to see what happened had turned on the light when Shadow barrels up (he is a nervous nelly ) hmmm perhaps ought to be something male instead of Nelly so decided to ignore the sound would clean it up in the am. only when I got up could find nothing wrong.. inside or outside if Shadow hadn't come barreling up I would have decided it was over imagination at work.... just saw on FB that my granddaughter is back state side... so happy to see the picture of her and her husband back occupying the same ocean front property just kidding don't think they live on ocean front property but good to see them in the same place.. they are both marines my dd said that in the almost 2 years that they have been married they have been together about 6 months..doesn't sound like the life I would like and she is going to reup silly girl.. but so proud of them.
going to make Navajo taco's tomorrow for the family sounds yummy

It was a wonderful day in CSP with Irmi, Steve and their friends. Sheila, your dually would make it through, but you might not be comfortable doing it. Irmi commented several times about not having a clue how big Custer SP would be. And as I say often, it's truly one is my happy places.

Way to go, Josef!

Congratulations for the Best of Breed win and for withstanding the heat and humidity! I hope you were showing inside!
