Here is a bright little cheer for the day from my garden...

Getting a slow start to my day. Tons to do!

Have a great day! :D

Thanks, Barbie, it's gorgeous. Hope you get all settled down soon! June gloom day, but easier to do all the work instead of heat and sun! Evie

And I'm thrilled with the sun today. Barbie, the end is in sight!

I just finished lunch.. Early for me, but for some reason was starving. Maybe because we took a longer walk this morning. Ty is happily sleeping. I see another long walk in our future this afternoon if the clouds and rain stay away. Clouds are moving in as I type this so we'll see what happens. LOL

Shirk, I prefer gas stoves... Is the problem just this one?

Barbie - very pretty picture. Is that a hibiscus? The buds look like roses but the flower looks like hibiscus.
Evie is right - better to work in June gloom rather than hot sun!

The flower is a rose that is wide open with 4 buds surrounding it.

I am certainly not complaining about the weather! Will have plenty of heat to deal with once I get to Indio tomorrow!

The walk-thru went well. Went to pick up the UHaul trailer and they didn't have the 5X8 that I ordered. They ended up upgrading me to a 6X12 trailer! Now I don't have to worry about if it will all fit in there. Will have lots of space left over.

Still have some last minute stuff to pack up and then some cleaning left. Am taking a break and since I have no food here, I might walk over to Costco and pick up some dinner there. Hoping to be on the road by noon tomorrow. Will just check into the motel when I get there, and then wait until Tuesday morning to unload the trailer and drop that off. Then relax until I get the keys on Wednesday morning, when the work starts up again.

I realized that moving is kind of like having a baby. You forget how much work it is, until you do it again.

Beth, I never had a problem with Rv gas stove because I could lower the flame. I understand most gas stoves have a simmer burner but this one does not. You can not get the flame low enough to simmer a pot of spaghetti sauce. I guess the apartment complex bought large quantities and cheap. Anyhow I bought two cast iron diffuser and that has solved the problem. I always had electric stoves so never even heard of a diffuser. Life is a challenge. :D
