Yes, we are having a heavy rain shower! (Sue and I). Temp about 50*. I am cold again. I will be leaving here around noon to go south. Driving in the rain does not bother me. Just have to watch out for the crazies going too fast. Lyn

Nice campsite, Lyn!!

Today is groceries and trying not to get soaked in this rain. I’m also writing up a Key West packing list, I’ve always wanted to take a trip and only carry a small overnight bag, so this packing list is especially fun!

Mornin' Lyn, Mickie & all that follow~~~

Weather hasn't been the best in southern Colorado. Bad winds last night and more expected tonight. AND woke up to snow this morning. Punkin is snuggled under the blanket after his walk.

Looked at my schedule for next week. Forgot I'm spending 5 days in Colorado Springs before heading a bit further north.

That's it. Safe travels Lyn.

Watching the weather again. Everything is North of me right now. I saw pictures of trees down on two campers at Jimmy Davis State Park in North Louisiana. This mess is probably headed toward Sarah. Some friends want to go eat lunch in New Iberia but I should probably keep my behind at home. That's about all the excitement I have for today.

Raining a bit here too.

Need to go thru my closet today and sort thru all that stuff. Also need to transfer from old phone to new phone today. I hope the sun comes out later. I feel more ambitious when it is sunny out. Rainy days just make me want to curl up under a blanket and do nothing.

Have a safe drive Lyn! Where are you headed now?

my sister in law and I went to the big city of Rexburg Id. had lunch went to Walmart for diesel ...I hate it when they stop it at a preset amount... in this case it was 75 should have gotten out and put the card through and finished it up but didn't because it was cold out and my knees aren't liking the day... but it wasn't as full as I had hoped so probably will finish it up tomorrow...my sil is taking it to Blackfoot this weekend and wanted to have it full for him. He is working on his mom's house really his sister's house as his mom is gone now.. and he is bring home a grill so needs the truck..
we had I think some grapple is that the term? its a term in weather not quite rain but not snow either but didn't last long.
when I got home decided a nap was in order as Shadow was sitting there shivering I thought the electric throw was also needed...
at time like this I actually wonder why the need to hurry North??? but then I remember family things going on and we are on Baby watch

In MN we called the rain/snow stuff "snizzle".

Brought everything out of the master closet and into the sunroom, except for my clothes. Went thru most of it and am reorganizing it all. Found a lot of evidence of fleas in there including a few live ones. Emily has been spending a lot of time in the closet hiding from all the people coming thru the house. So I need to fog that area and will have to wash all the clothes  I didn't think fleas could jump too far but I found one on top of a bin I took off the top shelf! So they could be on anything in there!

I washed a lot of blankets and rugs and other things that were in the closet and anything I am donating to a thrift store. I have two large bins full of stuff to donate so far.

Will finish that project up tomorrow. Also have a termite inspection here tomorrow afternoon.

Thursday May 9, 2019, was Mel's 76 birthday. Chris (son) and I drove over to Dixon to visit Mel and wish him Happy Birthday. Headstone came out very nice. National cemetery is such a beautiful, peaceful place. And it was a sobering reminder to see the empty spot next to Mel which is reserved, hopefully many many years from now for me. It was a tough day for us and for son in MN,who so wanted his Dad to see him graduate from law enforcement academy next week.
