Morning all. Beautiful sunny day on tap here. Perfect timing, as Lyn arrived yesterday and we are going sightseeing today. We spent the afternoon talking up a storm after she got here. Got her set up on my WiFi, fixed dinner and then she was off to snuggle up in her home on wheels in Camp Driveway.
I took my cornices down in my trailer yesterday and made arrangements with dealer to get it dewinterized and set to roll for the season Will drop it off on Monday. Will install new blinds and cupboard doors when I get it back.
So that’s all that’s going on here at the moment. We are off to explore. Have a great day all.

Good morning Sue and Lyn and all who check in today. So glad that the sun is shining for your touring with Lyn. You are an excellent ambassador for the beautiful state of Michigan. Are you going to the Bridge today? I have fond memories of our visit and eating whitefish sandwiches. Enjoy today Peggy

Whew, we both got the shingles shot yesterday, I’m tired and have a headache, but Mary feels like she has the flu. And we have to get the second shot in two months, not fun but I guess better than shingles.

I finally made it to the campground at 5:00 on Thursday. This place is not easy to get to. Winding, hilly roads with little places to pass. I was behind a tractor and everyone was trying to kill themselves to get around. We ended up being 9. Thursday we had chili dogs and yesterday the tacos. Everyone brings things so end up with a lot of food. I went to the casino to get a players card so I would get the $20 rate. Someone needs to show me how to play my $5. The last time I was in a casino you could actually put coins in the machines. Today some are crafting and some went to the movie. We are suppose to go to the club house later for mint juleps and to watch the race. It was suppose to storm last night but just rained. I thought it had moved East but it just rained again.

Been working in the yard, finally got my tomatoes, squash and peppers planted. Then spread some more mulch, dang those bags are heavy. Supposed to be 85° today but so far only 80°. We have already had ONE fire for the season over by Klamath Falls. 100% contained and over 400 acres burnt. Geez starting early. My phone alerted me to a "vegetation fire" just on the other side of the freeway from me but havent heard anything more since about 8 engines responded.
Tomorrow I hope to get my car washed. Think I will pull out the power washer and wash the patio also. Nothing too much more on the agenda for tomorrow.
Bought a roasted chicken at Costco yesterday and had some for dinner last night and lunch today. Going to the clubhouse for Taco Tuesday tomorrow night so think I will just make a chicken salad for dinner tonight. Then what chicken is left I will save for Emma. She loves chicken. LOL
Just made myself a blended frozen Caramel chiller. Sure tastes good. Might not be too hungry tonight but it is early yet.
Glad you made it to the campground safely Martha. Have fun. And Lyn is up harrassing Sue LOL Love that little lady, always a smile and so much fun. Have fun you two.

Got up early this morning to get ready for the carport sale. People were here already at 7am (sale started at 8). I am at a dead-end so I put up a lot of big bold signs and some bright mylar balloons to attract attention. Boy did that work! Everyone coming into the park made a bee line for my sale! We were busy constantly til about noon.
I wanted to go look at other sales but my roommate was not feeling well and had to keep running to the bathroom, so I couldn't leave. My real estate agent was supposed to show up at 9am and help us for a couple hours but she didn't get here until after 10:30. I made a run down the street to the lemonade stand and bought some cupcakes and goodies (for the HOA) and came right back. My agent was already gone by then for another appointment. Probably best that I didn't go spending my money on more stuff I would then have to move with me. I ended up making about $300. I sold my portable fireplace and the patio set, plus lots of smaller things. We didn't have much left by noon. So it was a great success!
At 1:30 I closed up shop, took down the signs and went and took a 3 hour nap! There is a HOA dinner tonight with tacos that I am thinking of going to. It already started so I better figure it out soon here! I have a headache but maybe eating will help. I think I will head down there now.
Glad Lyn made it to Sue's! Have fun!

I made it up to Tetonia Idaho
got most of the stuff done outside that stuff that is important that is plants are outside hopefully it won't freeze. the buddy is hooked up but reluctant to start think it's cause it's been off for a long time will try again when I get colder.
went and saw the goats... they have 7 babies or close to babies... 2 sets of triplets and one set of twins
one kid didn't make it so they have a total of 7, cute little things...
where I was parked at in Ogden I had been stressing about this exit from the site it looked so tight but was able to accomplish it whew!!! will have to return to that campground.. my youngest thinks I need to plan on staying for a month so I can spend time with the Utah kids... she may be right we will see think this summer I have some expenses I will need to take care of... of course the generator... but have a leak in the A/C it's not even putting out cold air... so really need to fix it but it's expensive thought I could put it off but after driving today not sure I will... being diesel the parts and everything is just more costly as is RV's repair... so enough of my crabbing... if anyone is in the area of Jackson Wy or Yellowstone National Park give me a yell so we can meet up
