Sunny and Warm Thursday

I am back in Eugene and amazingly, it finally looks like spring here, with sun and a high of 71 expected today. I slept in this morning and then changed my bed and bathroom towels and got my dirty clothes ready for the laundromat. One thing i like about Armitage campground, other than spaces being full hookup and spread out and yet being close to the town, is that they have a laundry room with three washers and three dryers. And, I am parked not too far away from it, so not too bad a walk. Other thing I did is switch back from my summer lightly quilted bedspread I use as a blanket back to my down comforter. Even though Washington and Oregon are warm during the days, it is cold here, especially along the coast where I will be for most of the time.

This county park also allows you to wash your vehicles, including RVs, so as soon as I get my laundry started and some work done, I will get my bucket and long-handled brush out and give this thing a much-needed scrub!

Headed to Tillicum Beach and then down to Bullard's Beach, both along the coast, for the next few weeks. It will be chilly but nice places, so looking forward to being there.

We had storms all morning and were under a tornado watch until about 3:00. Most of it went North of here. There was a tornado in Ruston, LA which is up on I-20. Someone posted a picture of a tree that fell through a 5-th wheel trailer in one of the campgrounds on the lake we like to go to. Two people were killed in Louisiana but I never did hear where.

I went to Walgreens and got my passport picture. They charge $15 for a passport picture. The least they could do is make me look better for $15.

The vet wants Stinky on a soft food diet for 2 weeks. The only way I can do that is either keep her in a cage or everyone will be on a soft food diet. They are going to like that. I stopped at the grocery store to get canned cat food and they had the whole deli area wrapped up and moved. I didn't ask what they were doing but if they close the deli I'm going to starve. lol

on way earlier than normal what happens when you have nothing to do... although there are things I could do.. I ended up having to extend my stay in Mesquite NV. went to start my truck and it grumbled about it so tried again finally agreed to start but the check engine light remained on so remembered seeing a truck that repairs so went to their site called the number but the gentleman wasn't there his son answered the phone and they don't work on pickups but gave the name of a place unhooked the trailer and went to the shop turns out it was a blown gasket resulting in lower power being hotter and smell of exhaust ok so even though he said it may make it I decided that with the hills I will be climbing not to risk overheating and perhaps breaking down which means two tow trucks ect he brought me back to the trailer paid for another day and put out the slides...but boy is it hot indoor temp says it's 106 in here.... I think I believe it!!!
watched a guy through the window park I thought he was coming into the one beside me and couldn't figure out why he kept backing out my thoughts were if I can do it anyone can and it it wasn't just right drive through and try again  then I realized that he was actually backing into a site in the row behind me made sense then so thought why isn't anyone out there spotting him then thought must not have anyone so called out to see if I could spot for him he said he was through... must not have wanted a female spotting for him as he tried 4-5 more times before he finally was done  got unhook even... I will need to rehook up when the truck returns... wish I had pulled my chair out of the truck would go outside it's only 94 outside....anyone heard from Lyn? hope she is having a blast
