Morning all. Where has March gone? Seems like it was just the 1st and now it’s almost over Living up to it’s name as time marches on. With spring here and the days longer now, it’s light earlier and longer, so time gets away from us. But it also means camping season is drawing nearer too for those of us in the north

Nothing much doing here. More scrapbooking today, dog walk this afternoon, little research on Roadside Assistance plans as I let my GS one expire,haven’t been seeing too many favorable reports on them of late. Being a AAA member, will probably upgrade to the Premiun Plus plan which covers RV’s. Don’t know anything about CoachNet. Always thought they were more for MH’s than trailers??? Now that I have my battery decision made, need to get a bigger battery box for my trailers A frame mounting area, so looking into that.

Shelia, an English cut roast is taken from the shoulder. It can also be known as a cross rib roast, Boston cut, cross rib chuck pot roast, and some other names.

Good Morning. Sitting here perusing the computer, checking the weather. We are very windy here this morning but no rain so far. Temp is 53° so not cold out at all.

I got quite a bit done yesterday as I was a sloth on Saturday. Getting ready to head north for a week. I leave on Wednesday so getting excited for my first camping of the season. I need to put lots of stuff back in the MH as I took most of it out before winterizing and storing. Have the towels and linens all washed and ready to go. Gathering the dog supplies as much as I can. Sorting out some canned goods to restock in there and will turn the fridge on early Tuesday morning so I can load some stuff in there Tuesday night. I am wanting to get a mid morning start so cant leave everything until the last minute. Taking Emma to get groomed on Tuesday so will do a bit of grocery shopping while she is getting spiffed.

Up fairly early this morning (for me anyways) and ready to hit my list of things yet to do. Called the roofing guy back. He is still way backed up but says he will try to stop over by next week to check on the roof.

Gotta pay some bills and then probably work on the side yard while the sun is not shining on that side yet. Then come back inside and work on some things in here.

Spring is certainly in the air with many of you getting your rigs ready for spring/summer camping trips!

Yes Sue, another month almost gone. Because of longer days and the time change I can walk Hank as late as 6:00. I hate in the winter when it gets dark so early. I had never heard of an English roast either. I probably won't be cooking many roast unless I have company or going to a pot luck. The local grocery store had some chuck steak on special last week and I cooked some in gravy. I am still eating that. I should have frozen part of it. I have Coach Net and have used it twice. I was very satisfied with them but they have gotten very expensive. I had Good Sam for years and had too many bad experiences with them.

I didn't do much of anything yesterday and no plans for today. I cut my jeans off and pinned them but didn't feel like dragging the sewing machine out.

It's 76 and partly sunny today. We have an 80% chance of rain but I don't see any on the radar. The yard could probably stand to be mowed again if it's planning on raining. It seems like my neighbors are on their mower almost every day. They must mow 2 acres with a riding lawn mower. They have a big pasture that they get someone to mow every couple of months. That is some strange people. The sister has property next door with cows on it. It looks like she could let her sister put cows in the pasture. They inherited the land from their dad and he was even stranger. He would never fix a fence so Harold had to keep up the fence for years. At least the one that has the land next to me fixes the fence. The dad had fallen out with his brother years ago and when Harold sold the brother some cows he quit talking to us.

Not much new here since the other day, but getting some things done.

Sue~ regarding Coach Net: it' may be the coverage I have, but I think they only deal with medical emergencies like getting your rig home if you're in the hospital etc. That said, Coach Net was able to help me with the accident. I called them as a last resort after the police and Progressive couldn't find a tow to get the TT moved with the bent axle. The girl at Coach Net found one, and even did a 3 way call to make sure they had the right equipment (ie clearance on the low boy). I give them 5 stars for helping when no one else could.

Coach net is usually towing, etc. Not sure what you have with them.

I had good luck every time I used Good Sam's roadside assistance. Lots of people complain for the wrong reasons.

Sue read the fine print before taking the AAA rv roadside service. They have, or least had, black out areas they don't cover at all. Friends got caught in one and completely left AAA after years with them. They even asked and were told it was nationwide... Until it wasn't.

Roadside assistance coverage......geez it changes all the time. Good Sam rates went way up for me so I changed to FMCA. Coach-net is pricy especially if you want your toad covered also. I had Allstate RV Plus years ago and used them a couple of times but have friends that just havent had good experiences with them. And as Beth says some parts of the country they have no coverage.

We've had Coach Net forever and have used it twice. Both times we needed to be towed but the second time was on a holiday weekend and we needed to find a "safe place" to get to through that weekend before they would help us. But that was because we called them at quitting time (5:00). So we laid over in a large church parking lot for a 3 day weekend, and where better to be broken down? I went to church twice that Sunday and everyone was very nice to us and we were towed out the next day.

When I came out to CA from MN with my trailer, I had Good Sam Roadside Assistance. When my Jeep broke down just outside of Bozeman, MT, I called them from a gas station I was parked at. The gal was super nice and called back saying she had a towtruck on the way (Sunday). He was there in less than 10 minutes. It was too hot for me and Lola to stay in the trailer so I got a room ($200/nt) at the Holiday Express across the street for the night. The next day I found out the Jeep would be in the shop for several days. I couldn't stay at the gas station in the trailer and I couldn't afford to stay another night at the hotel so I called GS back and asked what my options were. She said she would call me right back. She called back 10 minutes later saying she found a campground in Bozeman with one site left and she already had a truck on the way to tow my trailer there. He towed the trailer with me and Lola in the truck and got us all set up at the campground. I was very impressed with what they did for me! They couldn't have been more helpful and quick with everything!

no wind today so I burned trash the burnable kind....I'd started to collect it when the season was on and the dumpsters got so full thought why not burn the things that can be burned boxes paper trash then either when it was calm was busy or didn't think about it or it's been windy a really windy winter... today no wind so burned it... so glad that is done Kerry left today for a moment it was iffy as her left turn signal and break lights didn't want to work on the trailer.. but some friends came by and wiggled and giggled the wires and they started to work so glad she has been stressed and this didn't help. then Anita came out and we took the slingshot to find some blooming cactus couldn't find them so took the truck out to see if we could find them ... didn't will need to get better directions...reminds me of a time Larry and I heard of a desert tortoise went to see if we could find it of course it was a week later even tortoise move faster than that. so we did what anyone would went and got a sundae and just visited was a nice day. now I just need to do more on my list of what I can do to get ready to leave even though I don't really want to do it will need to be done anyway so might as well to it sooner.
