Happy St Paddy's day ladies. A cold but sunny day here in Louisiana. Been a nice few days here, meeting Martha and her Louisiana Belles camping ladies. Nice rec area with big pine trees too. Martha even made the Baileys Irish Cream brownies too. Thanks Martha! Dessert last night was yummy.

Heading a bit further north today, but will still be in Louisiana.

A beautiful warm weekend here to in SoCal! Mid 70's and sunny!

Got another new stylist at our shop yesterday. They both are very nice and should fit in well with our group.

Need to get outside and tackle the weeds again this morning.

I have been growing my hair out and leaving it curly but am getting frustrated with it now. I may end up cutting it really short again. I know I won't like the long hair once it gets hot out in the summer.

Good morning everyone, since Ancestry determined I'm over 30% Irish, I'm a little more into celebrating these days! I'll put the corned beef in the IP soon. It's a beautiful, sunny day, headed into our second 70's day of the year. Have a Happy Saint Patricks Day everyone.

Happy St. Paddy's Day! It is a chilly and raw day in Ocala with temps topping off in the low 60's with intermittent showers. Church was this morning and I was promoted from assistant organist to organist and the organist I've been sitting in for for the last four years is now the honorary organist. She is now in a nursing home and may never be able to return to church, I've heard talk that she would like to attend the Easter day service, which will be my last day in this church until we return in the fall. That would be so nice. One of my parents best friends from MD is vacationing in the FL Keys and will be stopping by tomorrow on his way north. He is in his mid 80's and going strong so we are excited about his visit and taking him out for a meal. Take care!

Yesterday I moved about 10 miles. Today about 15.
I'm back at a New Mexico SP. Having the annual pass I'm very spoiled. I had no intention of taking an electric/water site today but pulled in one by accident and here I stay for the next 5 nights. I mean, it's only $4/night with the pass. So even as frugal as I am, it's no big deal

I've never cared for corned beef and cabbage so totally ignore that on St Patty's Day. But I used to love St. Patrick's Day in Chicago with the green river and green beer and I really enjoyed the one I spent in Savannah. I had no clue how big the celebration there would be!

Well, I asked for warmer weather and I got it! Highs in 70s most of this week.

What I did NOT ask for was my AC fan to not work. It just hums, and I am afraid to keep trying it because I am hoping it is just rusted a little in place and needs some lubrication. More repairs are also not in my budget, and I seriously thought of climbing on the roof, but wisely gave up THAT idea. I have a ton of work and it is bearable with windows all open, so I am going to wait until Tuesday to find a repair place, hopefully nearby. Did not help that I baked yesterday just before I realized I had no AC. Glad nights are cold.

Lots of bunnies at Willow Beach and lots of Gambles quail chasing each other around. I assume it is breeding season because one cheeky little guy keeps planting himself on a shrub and calling to someone over and over and over again. Hope he finds her, whoever she is!

found a necklace to wear to church that has a bit of green in it..but no one even asked haha
it turned off hotter so tomato and cottage cheese for lunch and supper Alice wasn't hungry so just now ate some cereal and finished up some pea salad that was hanging out in the fridge
got a text from my son wanted me to follow this link so they can stalk me actually am ok with it... that way if something happens while I am traveling they will be able to find me...
life is just normal only a month left down here in the desert then will either know what I am going to do... right now probably head north...
I love it out here but after a few month's ready to plug in and have some of the creature comforts... right now TV haha Terry the rv guy is coming out tomorrow to do some jobs that have needed to be done help me understand more on the generator...
think that is going to be a summer project

Glad I got to meet Cheryl. The camping trip was nice but the weather was cool, 60 daytime and 40's at night. It only sprinkled a couple of times. The campground was only about 115 miles for me. Nice to not have to drive too far. We had so many desserts that my brownies didn't get cut. I will have to put them in the freezer and bring them again. I had cooked corned beef and cabbage last year and didn't like it very much. This year I cooked a corned beef brisket in a slow cooker with a mustard and maple syrup sauce. Almost all of it was eaten but I through it was too salty. I may have to give up on corned beef. I decided to not bring my kayak since it was going to be cold. I had gotten some worms but never did fish either.

Sweetie Pie is hopping around on 3 legs again. I don't know what she did to hurt her leg again. I started to leave CC outside since he is so mean but I don't know that he hurt her. Will have to call the vet first thing in the morning.

Very busy at work today. Now that it is warmer out, everyone thinks they need a haircut. I think I need one too. Am tired of the longer hair hanging on my neck.

Sheila, I was asked to contribute two recipes to have printed in the monthly newsletter, so I didn't actually need to make it, altho I should anyways since it sounds great and easy!

Will be heading back to Palm Springs on Tuesday. I signed up for a bus tour for Wednesday to see the wildflowers at Azna-Borego and the bus leaves at 8am so I need to be out there the day before. It is supposed to rain on Wednesday, so I am hoping they are wrong like usual!

The area in Lake Elsinore where I went a couple weeks ago to see all the poppies in bloom, has been shut down due to too many cars, people and destruction of the poppy fields. Too bad people have to be so thoughtless and careless.

Beth, both churches have music when I am not there. The person in FL that fills in for me only plays with one hand but at least she can play the melody for them. The lady in MD is more accomplished but doesn't use the pedals, but she is a big help to the church.

Good to hear. Both churches are very lucky to have you when you're there.
