Wednesday Now

We made it to Wednesday. Josef gets a final bath this morning and Cindy arrives about 2 so we can load her "stuff" in the van and we head down to Louisville to set up for the dog show that starts tomorrow. If you think packing for a camping trip takes remembering details this dog show packing can make your mind hum with details bouncing around. Then we will go through the "make it fit" in the van routine.

We will stay with our friend Lyn (home of sweet Izzy and Audrey's sister Daisy) in Louisville and are excited to see the baby puppers. "Josef" and Cindy's "Player" will sleep in the vans and we will need to change out clothes, etc., coming in from the show but it will be worth it.

I went in for a Stress Test yesterday. I passed. The doctor sent me to rule out heart issues. I think the pains were from me forgetting to pick up more Magnesium after I ran out last week. The magnesium and my banana intake keep my legs cramps at bay and apparently it helps keep other muscles from cramping, also.

Enjoy the anticipation of spring. Watching for those green spouts to come out, listening to the spring love songs of the birds and feeling that difference in the breezes. I know Karen West and I saw daffodils all along the roads in Texas last week and this week I can see them slowly poking their way through the grass in the yard here in Ohio. All those flowering trees and bushes that Florida has been enjoying for weeks will eventually find their way up to the rest of us.

Good Morning Tina and all to come. The high winds abated overnight but I awoke when they started rocking and rolling me again about an hour ago. It's going to be a long day! But things should settle down tonight without a repeat tomorrow and the rains got left behind yesterday. I owe for another night here... Will pay for two... Not decided exactly what day I'll leave.. Sometime over the weekend.

Good morning, I have not been doing much. The TT and truck are all ready to go traveling. Just need to put food into the TT, and that is last minute stuff.
That’s a shame Sheila about your sister. I,m quite sure you are worried.
I too have charger cords all over the house. Permanent one in truck and TT. Carry the phone in cup holder. Never, never answer it while driving.
Love daylight saving time. Love spring time. Love you all!

Was woken up to the smell of brownies baking! :o I hope I get a sample before she takes them to where ever she is going!

Looks sunny and breezy out this morning. I wonder if the butterflies will still be around today? Supposed to get into the 70's this weekend! Yay!

Got a few things to do around here before going to work later. Only a 4 hour shift today. Still not feeling great. My head is stuffed up yet.

Have a good day! :D

Tina, don't pack so good that you lose your wine this trip. lol I know you will post pictures of puppies.

I could hear the wind last night. The weather just said it is 30 to 35 mph. I have my cattle women's meeting tonight. Hope I don't forget it again. I'm trying to decide whether to go get the groceries I need for the weekend or wait until I'm on my way tomorrow. If I leave too much for tomorrow it takes me forever to get on the road.

Evie, good idea about using the jean legs to make a bean(rice) bag. I don't think the trail mix would make the trip.

I never think about planting daffodils until they start blooming. I had some around the tree that got struck by lightening but all of that got dug up. There were some gladiolas planted in the rose bed but I don't see them coming up this year.

Windy here today, keep hearing big gusts. Gotta get out of here to Curves soon. Had lunch with one college friend and her husband yesterday. Sadly the other two we expected could not be there. One is just over pneumonia and was having tests done, and the other was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, with no previous symptoms until she go numbness in one arm! She is in ICU with a bowel blockage. Life can change in a heart beat. Enjoy each day to the fullest.

Heading to Las Vegas on I-5. Will take me three days to get there and pick up groceries for Willow Beach. Nice sunny day to driving at least.

Love idea to use trail mix to hold phone. Never know when you might have a snack emergency.

We've been in a high wind alert. It's been upgraded... Next three hours gusts into the upper 80 mph range are expected. Last time I was in this range I was in Port Aransas in pre hurricane mode. I certainly hope this calms down before getting near you, Martha.

The crazy winds are over. On the news they showed a home in Las Cruces that lost its roof. And a train derailed at a higher elevation... Some of the passes had gusts over 100 mph! I'm glad it's over with.
