Here, anyway. Very nice out after the monster storm yesterday. Read about the guy surfing in Escondido and died in the drain...gads, people do not learn from others mistakes!
Going to CostCo, and then Was-Mart if CostCo does not have the pills I want. Gotta check them first. Then going down to the TT to finish cleaning and putting on the clean sheets. The TT goes in for a check up next week getting ready for my big spring trip!
yea, softball has begun!!!

Cloudy here but such a relief to not have rain today! I hear ducks down by the creek so it must be back down now.
Got a few things to do around here before heading off to work later. Nothing too exciting today.
Have a good day!
(Lyn, I sent you a PM)

No sunshine and fluffy white clouds here--still raining, although it is supposed to be partly sunny on Sunday.
Not much going on except work for me. Glad I don't have to go anywhere today, plus I have empty black and grey tanks and a full fresh water tank, so OK for a couple of days. And have lots of groceries. Going through propane at about 10 gallon fill every two weeks, so will get it filled on Tuesday. Just a regular dull day!

Good evening! We had sunshine and fluffy white clouds during the day but it's dark out now. Ten of us went to a Brazilian steak house, which we go to once a year, called Ipanema's. It was a hit to the new friends that went with us and for the rest of us, it was just as good as usual if not better. When we got back, I saw online that a winery close by was having a sale on the Cha Cha Chocolate wine I like, so we went to get a case of that. Needless to say, I won't need wine for a long, long time! Steve sliced London Broil earlier today and rested in a marinade I made. It is now in the dehydrator and smells wonderful. Can't wait till it's done!

My shower remodel is finally complete. I posted some pictures in General. Now I have no excuse to get busy and plan my May trip to Montana and also do my taxes. Rainy day here and expected to continue over the weekend. May be a break for a few days next week. We have many areas that are at 100% or more of normal. Something we haven’t seen for quite a few years. Plus they’re having to release water from some reservoirs.

I didn't do much today except wait for someone to come look at the motorhome I have for sale. I have had quite a few people contact me but these are the only ones that actually showed up. If it doesn't sell soon It's going on a consignment lot.
Irmi, are you making beef jerky? I use to make beef jerky all the time for my family. You can sure reduce a big piece of meat making jerky. I wish I could remember the marinade I made but I'm sure I could find one online.
It was gray all day but never did rain. I think we have a chance of rain for the next week. At least it's going to be warm.

Martha, the marinade I make is a combination of soy sauce, worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic, and ground ginger. The meat soaked in that for 5 - 6 hours. Then it sits in the dehydrator for hours until the meat is done and no longer limp. It's been on for about 5 hours and will need several more hours. The smaller pieces are just about done but the larger pieces need more drying and heat. We've been making jerky for years. This was over a 2 pound London Broil and it shrinks seriously, but considering what you pay for this stuff and not having the additives, it's so worth it for us. And it tastes so much better than the bought jerky.

other than going to Wal mart and to walgreen's didn't do a heck of a lot... oh load of towels but the washer did all the work
I think that wal mart and other places that usually have too few cashiers have a gimic going on.... the longer you stand in line the more likely you are to buy more...I probably put 5 dollars worth of more in my cart that had I not had to stand in line I wouldn't have seen and yielded to temptation
oh well
the weather other than lots of wind was nice cold but nice... not time for Bill to return to Vegas Carol

Irmi, your marinade sounds a lot like what I used except I don't think I ever used ginger. Sometimes I used some kind of teriyaki sauce. I'll have to see if my dehydrated still works. I haven't used it in years.
