Cold Sunday

Not quite morning here but just into afternoon. Actually been busy this morning. Not sure what got into me but guess it’s a good thing to get some things done! Maybe it was the few hours of sun this morning. Now the clouds have moved in in anticipation of whatever the snow amount turns out to be in the next couple of days. Sue, hope you are doing okay in all you’ve been dealing with up in your area. Kinda interesting hearing about what’s happening on the west coast. And not all good apparently. But sounds like you ladies are staying busy despite it all.

So nothing else happening here. My sister reminded me about the time change in about 4 weeks. And that much closer to spring. I was looking at my yard the other day and all the wet leaves that the weather kept me from cleaning up in the fall. Lots of extra spring cleanup! Have a great day and enjoy it.

I usually don't deal with the time change until traveling to SD for the season. But this year I won't be in AZ where it doesn't happen, so I'll deal with it when the rest of you do. Might help me change my hours, but I doubt it. Lol

I made it back to Tucson a little bit ago. I stopped in a town called Sells. It's on Tohono O'odham land. I had noticed a sign that there is a Bashas there and wanted a few items. Saved me from having to pass where I'm staying. Most fascinating is that the store was busy... And everyone except one employee (and me) was Tohono. And I wouldn't doubt that employee was but not as obviously. Signs in the store were in their language. I loved that. Part of my falling in love with Arizona my first trip here, as a youngster, was visiting the natives. This time though it was better because this community doesn't look as poor. That still can't be said for most.

Hope others come out of hiding.

Our winter trip to Arizona has been permanently cancelled by John's cardiologist. His stress test showed an almost completely blocked coronary artery and as soon as several tests results are back an angiogram and stent insertion will be done. I am very thankful this was diagnosed before we got on the road. I shudder to think of those "what might have happened" while we were in the beautiful isolated areas of the desert south west. I have plenty of indoor activities to keep me occupied while we wait this out. Now to unpacks all the spring clothes I was taking and put our food supplies away. Snowed again today and the forecast is for 2 more snow storms this week.

Good evening. Been doing kitchen duties today. AND playing with my silly dog. Since I changed her food to a recommended WSAVA food she has way more energy and way more hair LOL but she is doing well.

Rita glad your hubby got diagnosed at home. I would not like to be on the road dealing with that condition. Hope he gets er done and recovers quickly.

Tomorrow I am going over to see Malia and her daughter. She is not doing well at all. So sad.

Having a caramel Mocha and watching tv. Just kind of a relaxing day.

Sorry to hear about Malia. But glad she had her dream to get her book written and published, realized.

Rita, sorry to hear about your hubby too! That could have been a disaster if his heart condition hadn't been found before you left town. Too bad you will miss your trip south but there will be other times ahead for that.

I am headed to Palm Springs tomorrow morning for a couple days of sun and relaxation! Maybe I will stop grinding my teeth so bad. My teeth and jaws hurt a lot right now. I grind them hard 24/7 when I am stressed out.

I guess there is another big storm system heading this way for the second half of the week. I will get back home just in time for that. :(

Good night!

Barbie, go buy a sports type moldable mouthpiece. You bring water to boil, let cool briefly and drop mouthpiece in and leave a certain# seconds then insert in your mouth following their suggestions. I have worn them for years at night. I get two packs on Amazon and replace every six to 12 months. I don't grind but i clench and broke several teeth before a smart dentist figured my daily headaches out and said wear a mouth guard. Stopped headaches and clenching. The ones I buy now are clear silicone like plastic, quite comfortable once I get it molded right. Definitely hundreds of $$ cheaper than the hard plastic one the first dentist made and which I chewed through!

Oh Rita, so sorry. But, yes, John's health has to come first.
