Goodness, I cannot believe I'm at Barbzee's table this early in the morning!! Especially since I haven't been at the table in such a long time. It's almost too early to eat; however, cannot pass up Criss Cross Buns! I've been busy for the last several days posting items for sell on CraigsList and made my first sale this morning! Sold my canning pressure cooker and other supplies to a nice couple. My goodness, there were 8 responses to that ad. It seems as though many people are planning to garden this year and some to can for their first time. I did my share over the years, and was ready to pass it all on to someone else!

Ok, it's nearly 1:00 a.m. here in Tennessee and me thinks I'll head to bed finally. You gals don't drink too much green beer, but all the green tea you want! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!!

Good Morning, All!

Thanks for the neat St. Paddy's Day card, Barb! It seems as if it's going to be another nice day here before we get some rain, which, I suppose we now need to dampen down the drying out dead brush from last fall as it melts free of the snow.

Good to see you up (still) Becky! I, too, used to love those hot cross buns before my buns began to look like a couple of them!! So, I'll join you all in a cup of coffee, but will avoid all those goodies! (However, if there were a couple of pistachio muffins on this table, the devil would take over my body!)

Gotta get moving, dig down in the depths of my closet for my knee-high mucker boots to get out to my truck, as the short, pretty yellow boots I wore yesterday were nearly buried in that deep muck.

Hope you all have a fun day doing whatever people do on St. Patrick's Day---I plan to wear as many green things as I can put together. Wish I could sample some green beer, but think I'll just stick to my Michelob Ultra (2.5 carbs per beer) when I get home from school! Let us know about your day!!

Good morning to all, Irish or otherwise! Love the green greetings this morning, Barbz.

Today there're plenty of green leaves popping out in the trees....and plenty of green pollen falling all over the car and rv. Washed the car yesterday, today I'll do the rv. Also need to clean the pool again before it turns green. Can't open the windows and let the spring breeze flow in or it'll be green in the house too.

Enjoy your day!

Thank you for the happy Irish Greetings
Well we are back in the good ole USofA - in McAllen Tx - The Driver had a long day yesterday - 590 Mexican miles - 95 US dollars in tolls! We did 2400 miles in Mexico in almost exactally 3 months there and $443 in tolls diesel is now more expensive there than here in Texas. Will continue to post memories from Mexico with pictures.
Need to do some US shopping today - All of our bacon, salami, eggs and fruit got taken away from us by US border guards. Had just bought 1 1/2 dozen eggs. Also need BOOKS!!

Good Morning Lassies! Well I'm a tad bit Irish from my grandma Dora. One of my best friends is 100 percent Irish and I keep telling her that some day ....some day I'm going to go to Ireland with her to meet her family. Going to Ireland is on my bucket list of things I want to do. Sipping some coffee and eating my Lemon Biscotti ( Nonni's..The BEST!). Sun is beginning to peek over the Gila Mountains so better give my plants a morning drink before it gets warm.

Too bad they got your eggs Carol, I had some and if you hard boil them and take the shell off they let me through with them and yep no Pork over the border. They got my Avacados last time...dang and the ones you get in Mexico are big and you could get 4 or 5 in the marcado for $1[/color]

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!!

HAPYY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!!!

Yep I'm Irish. At least some of me is! Use to have a T-shirt that said "Almost Perfect", "70% Irish", "15% Dutch", "10% ?", "5% ??". Wore the he77 out of that shirt!!!

I'm set for today. I just got my brisket and cabbage into the crockpot. Have got my green shirt all laid out and ready to go put on. I guess if ya don't wear green today at work you make yourself fair game for the pinchers!!! Ain't no one up there I want pinching me. Haven't seen any men up there I would want pinching any thing!!! I might end up with a small bruise from a pinch??? But by damn they would end up with a bigger bruise after I smacked 'em in the eye for the pinch!!!!

Boy I'll tell ya I wish Kelly and I could just afford to quit and have our last day 03-20. Would give us plenty of time to finish up here!! I look around and simply deflate and lose steam. I know a lot of what I'm looking at will go with the kids? But it still contributes to the feeling of drowning. Working this shift really screws things up. Just breaks up and makes a mess of the whole day. ~sigh~

Ok I need to get my butt dressed and ready to go. Kelly is showered, dressed and now brushing her hair. She beat me this morn!!!

Hope everyone has a great day, stay safe and be green.

Love to all

HAPPY St.Patty day to all.
Heavy fog here this AM but should lear quickly. Spring is really going strong with things blooming all over the place. I love spring.
Still have a lot of cleaning to do following all those house guests last week.
Also finally finished getting my '08 bookkeeping done so it is on to taxes now. Party time when that's done.

That pollen that Liz talks about is in Orlando, too, and has made my son's eyes look as if they are bulging out of his head! Oak tree pollen, perhaps? He has his important job interview tomorrow, and is so afraid his face and eyes will look as if he's on drugs of some sort! I just told him to be honest and let them know this allergy stuff will pass when the rains come and calm down the pollen stuff!

Up here, we get White Pine pollen at a certain time of year, and that's heavy, yellow, icky stuff all over everything.....makes a yellow slick on top of the pond!

It's always something, as the saying goes!
