Good Morning. I made it back to Ohio yesterday evening. We left Orlando Sunday and drove over and visited with Cindy's life long friend and fellow English Cocker breeder in Jacksonville for a couple of hours and still made it to Chattanooga, TN, before finding a Red Roof for the night. Yesterday we continued north with a slight swing to the west to visit with our mutual friend Lyn outside of Louisville, Ky. Audrey's mom Izzy Izzy and her sister Daisy live with Lyn. Daisy had just days ago come into "heat' and we stopped by to pick her up so she could come to Cindy's house and have a romantic meet up with one of Cindy's boys. We visited about two hours and still made it to my driveway by about 7 o'clock after driving through rush hour traffic in Cincinnati. So far the only thing I have found that didn't make it out of the van last night is my winter coat. I have others and since I know I can depend on you guys farther south to work on the weather and temperature I have full faith that I won't need my back up much in the next couple months when I make it out of the grips of the wintery midwest.
While unloading the van last night night I also found a bottle of wine carefully wrapped up tucked into a corner. I just started laughing because the whole trip Cindy was bemoaning the fact that she had forgotten the wine that she had sat out to bring so we could celebrate any wonderful things we might want to! I guess we have come to the point that not only do we actually forget things but we forget that we did remember things....
Now to pay some bills, get the laundry started and work through the "before I can leave the driveway" list.
Make it a great day out there. Be distracted by some wonderful adventures!

Glad you are safely home Tina. I laughed at your wine story. We do get funnier as we age!
Sun is coming out later, so I will get in my water jogging today. Missed yesterday as we had guests fo lunch. Valerie’s boyfriend bar be quad Grouper, and brought his 93 year old Mother. What a sharp lady she is. Really enjoying talking with her. And the Grouper was delicious!!! There are left overs too!
That is a neat bike you got Barbie. Will you be bringing it to Q?

The wine story is so funny!
My phone is still travelling to Mexico on it's own so I'm still keeping it in airplane mode. I think it's to do with this phone as it didn't happen here with my last couple phones, same carrier. My neighbors have my carrier, no problem. Oh well.
Winds picked up some today so staying put one more... Will head north, most likely, tomorrow instead.

Oh, the wine, that's funny! Sounds like me. Today this computer is giving me fits, and I'm just hoping I can remember enough to fix it. Maybe I'll lose my temper and switch the OS to Linux in the end, grrrrr.
We actually have a little sunshine! Now there's a happy thing!

I was holding CC and he was snoring until he heard a noise outside. It was one of the trash trucks. It stopped in front of my house and backed slowly to in front of my neighbor's house. Didn't pick up anything and continued to the end of the road. He must have been killing time because he was only going about 5 mph.
Sweetie Pie's leg isn't healed enough to take the pin out. They want to wait a month and X-ray her again. At least she doesn't have to have surgery around Christmas and New Years and I have to worry about whether the vets are working or not. She must not have been all the way with it when I got her home. She would sit flat on her butt with her back legs straight out in front of her. Cats usually don't sit like that. I should have taken her picture. She is back to her aggravating self today trying to trip me.
Losing the wine is something I would do. I have a full page list of things to load for a trip and some things still don't get loaded. I am still looking for the microwave egg cooker that I know I would have moved to the new motorhome. I broke another wine opener on the last trip so I went to Walmart and got 4 of the cheap openers. Can't be without a wine opener. My sister mentioned the wine thing that puts a needle through the cork. That would be a nice Christmas gift.
There is rain in New Mexico that is suppose to be here late tomorrow. Just what we need, more rain. I would sure like to be able to get across Texas that fast. It's up to 67 and the sun is out.

Afternoon All, Enjoying the beautiful sunshine the last couple of days. Tina, the wine will be chilled for next trip. Meeting #2daughter for dinner at Olive Garden. We couldn’t resist the ad for seafood Mac and cheese. I promised myself I will only eat half and bring rest home. Of course I made no promises about bread sticks. Martha, I read even upscale wineries are switching to screw caps and there is my favorite, box wine. I have Christmas Eve dinner for my family so always looking for something new to add. Going to try poinsettias (cran mimosas) this year. Ordered champagne flutes from Amazon today. If they don’t make it in time guess it will be red plastic cups.
The garnish of rosemary sprig with cranberries won’t look as pretty but it’s family and they won’t care. Safe travels

Shirl, I finally found a box of Moscato but haven't opened it. I'll save it for a camping trip. I seldom drink wine at home unless it's to get rid of a bottle opened at a campout. You know I can't throw it away. lol

Tina I wouldn't forget the coat if I were you
I got chilly early and hasn't warmed up but then it shouldn't yet...
but because it came on early we are so ready for warm... I think it has something to do
with El Nino if not it gives us something to blame it on...
went to Havasu today since we forgot something important last time...Alice needed to have her phone taken out of her cousins name put into her name ect.. so we make a trip up to Havasu which is 40 minutes from Parker and Parker is 40 from Q everything I truly needed to be done could have been done in Parker...( yes we went to another store not in Parker but since I didn't buy anything it doesn't count right???) so we go to AT&T and find out that she didn't have the correct information and her cousin needed to do something else and when we do come back to plan on spending 2 hours...perhaps I will get a pedicure while she in at AT&T
simply a waste of time diesel and what ever then we get back to Parker to pick up the battery and it still wasn't charged up guess they forgot to reset it when it timed out so they just swapped it out...
as I said a wasted day... other than spending a lot of money cash diesel and wally world will do you in every time

Slept in some this morning and then got up and headed to the beach. The waves are high and fierce right now so I wanted to see it. Went to Encinitas to Swami's beach which is popular with surfers. It was a beautiful day and I took a ton of photos of the waves, surfers and the beach. Took a long walk down the beach looking for pretty rocks and shells. There usually aren't many shells on the beaches here but I did find one that was almost completely in tact. Got hit with a few "sneaker" waves while taking pics and not paying attention, but just got my shoes and bottom of pants wet. Luckily, didn't get knocked on my keister!
I need to go thru all the pics and videos and then I will post some. I really need to get a better camera. Am thinking of getting a digital SLR with an auto option. That will have to wait awhile tho.
Stopped at Hobby Lobby and picked up one Christmas gift and then ordered another gift on Amazon. Just need to pick up some cards and I will be done. Then just need to play with my new gifts!
Have a good night!
