Good morning everyone !! Haven’t started the morning here for awhile. Coffees going fast, errands to run this morning and need to get an early start. Going to be warmer today, rain chances are higher, gets really warm before rain. Somewhere else got our prediction for yesterday, after I mowed in the evening did hope we’d get some. Cooler weather will be more then welcome anytime, Mr P wouldn’t have to worry about being left at home alone.

Can’t set long, want to get a cake baked and have a load of laundry to do. I don’t have a laundry day as in time way back, I do a load couple times a week. That way it’s not a huge job to dread

Well it is not HOT here right now. Brrrrrrr 34° but supposed to warm up to the high 70's in the afternoon. We still have that pesky breezy weather hanging around. Had to blow all the debris off my front patio yesterday and dang if lots of it isnt back LOL

Just going to finish up tearing down the garden and get rid of all that business. Then might work in the storage shed and continue sorting and getting rid of stuff.

I am wanting to get another camping trip or 2 in before winterizing so we shall see.

Off to get busy. Making a quiche this morning.

95 here at my house yesterday, dry and sunny, without a cloud in sight.

Good morning to all. Again this morning it is cold here in Vegas - 49 when he got up. Bill got up put on jeans and long sleeve shirt - then went back to bed he was so cold. The cold weather really bothers him. Guess tonight we'll have to turn the furnace on. We're waiting for a call from the mechanic so we can pick up the Jeep. It was making a tuck, tuck sound that shouldn't have been there. Didn't want to take a chance on the road.
We will be on the road by next week, early for us but after being cooped up all winter - between the high heat and all the doctor stuff we are ready to get going.
If it warms up some might bring the RV over from storage and start loading a few things. Also want to check out the Dish TV to make sure it is working okay. Also check to make sure we have what we need in there - like printer ink and basic bathroom stuff.
Our son will send a couple of his cleaning ladies over this Friday to give a good cleaning to the house. Especially the kitchen. It is nice to have someone else do deep cleaning. If things go as planned we'll leave here on Bill's 82nd birthday -

Yes, cold in the house this morning! I have a little space heater for my bedroom but may need to turn the furnace on tonight.

No news on the tree yesterday so will have to call again this morning. Also, I deposited $190 yesterday into my checking account. This morning, I see I got an overdraft charge and noticed that deposit never hit my account. So that is another thing I need to deal with today. Also, I must have ate something not so good yesterday because I woke up with cramps and have been in the bathroom all morning. Gonna be a fun day

Upper 30's here this morning. I love it for sleeping ... Have the electric heater (since I'm in an electric site) turned way down. But I don't like getting up to it cold so I turned on the gas heater to have a blast of warm air. It wouldn't turn off! It ignored the 70 degrees I had it set at (and this thermostat has always been off 5 degrees.. Set at 70 it normally would shut off at 65. I turned it off and it didn't shut off. It was close to 80 in here when I thought about pulling the fuse. That worked. Waited a bit but when I re-inserted the fuse, the furnace came right back on. Did a Google search and it's happened to others and been minor to major, of course. Frustrated, I walked Ty and came back, put the fuse in and the furnace didn't start. I guess I'll see if this becomes a thing before making an appt. Otherwise you know I'll pay and it won't happen to the technician.

I just saw that the visitor's center here has a book exchange. I'm going to walk over in a bit with a few books and see if there's anything worthwhile. I'm looking forward to the library at my Escapees park... Saved several good books to exchange there when I visit.

Hi friends! Steve & I arrived in Ocala yesterday afternoon and are enjoying the FL weather, though I have to admit it's really warm here. We had the heat on in MD before we left and right now all three a/c's are going. I went to the Rosary Mass in church this morning and invited the Father and his friend for dinner today. Both of them lost their spouses before we left to go back to MD and they are good company for each other and she also attends this church. Hoping to see some of you again this winter!

I actually had to turn off my window fans last night. I think it went down to the 50's.
As friends & family are posting pics of the first frost in the midwest, I enjoyed the sweet smell of freshly cut grass & felt the cool breeze & warm sunshine when I walked Sadie this morning. OK, life in CA isn't too bad.

Not much happening here - just working. Need to let the guys who regraded my patio know that I'm back in town so they can haul off the excess dirt now. Then I can start thinking about what to do out there.

Loved my visit with my twin 10-week old nieces but happy to resume sleeping at night. There's a reason why you have babies when you're young. Felt bad leaving my bro & SIl with no relief in sight but they will survive. Babies are doing great & are as cute & interactive as they can be.

Will be catching up on happenings here as time allows.

I think I should have gone to town yesterday. It started storming about 1:00am and rained all night and morning until 10:00. My rain gauge holds about 6 inches and it was overflowing. My neighbor says we got 11 inches of rain. The pastures are mostly flooded and the ponds are overflowing. I might go to town in the truck in case there is street flooding.

Sunshine! That's two days in a row! Amazement and rejoicing!

The van gets its check-up on Thursday, but I'm starting to load today.

Wow! Martha, that is a lot of rain! With all the heavy rain we got in Friday night's storm, it only added up to half an inch! I thought it was way more than that.

Supposedly, the park's "gardeners" are coming by to check out the tree today. Not sure how much good that will do. I think I need an professional arborist to look at it.

It is warmer outside than in the house. Need to open up the windows now!

I waited all day for someone to show up about the tree. Made some more phone calls and was told that two people had come by and took photos of the tree, but I didn't see them. I talked to the manager and he said the "gardeners" told him it was way too big of a job for them (duh! ). So he has a tree trimming company coming out tomorrow to look at it (same one who removed the trees in my creek last spring). Unfortunately, Denise and I both work tomorrow. I wanted to be here so I can ask questions. I think I will put a note out there asking them to call me.

Also got the bank situation straightened out. They apparently had issues on their end yesterday and the deposit didn't go thru until today. They reversed the overdraft fee.
