Mornin' ladies~~~
It's a bit chilly here SE of Tulsa. 38° with a real feel of 28°. Forgot to put the propane on after the WDS fix the other day, do even Punkin slept under the blanket.

Doing a short drive to Clinton OK today, so the temps may not get much better since its almost straight west.

Time for a hot breakfast. Have a good day ladies, stay safe.

It is burr shiver weather here in SW Ohio, also. The four legged ones don't seem to notice or care. Josef is still running around on four feet except for when I put the plastic bag on his hind foot with the rubber band to hold it on. Then suddenly he becomes a three legged wonder hopping across the deck. He is a wonder.

The week ahead looks like it could be full of possibilities, I just need to make some choices as to what I want to do. Finishing my current book, work on some pictures, keep some dogs busy with obedience training. Decide what layers I want to put on to keep warn......

Cheryl, I am so glad that you are out there reminding us to keep our adventurous spirit alive. Inspires me to make plans to get out of Ohio at least for a while this winter.

Stay alert to adventures out there!

Cheryl, I think it's time to turn south.. Then west. :) I'm actually moving to an electric site for a couple nights because we're only seeing lower 50's for highs, with possible rain and I'm being wimpy lol. I deal with this in January, but it's easier with sunshine.

There are walk in electric sites here... And I saw a couple hitching up last night... We talked and I'm moving to that site when they leave (in about an hour). I already put a chair over their and a tag on the post.

I missed the tour of the ranch house her yesterday... Only do it on weekends, so either I stay all week or I plan to return another time on the weekend. I think return.

We had a very windy day here yesterday. Leaves and small debris were flying with the gusts. Emma was so not a fan. She was busy hiding in my bedroom under the bed. This dog needs to get a grip. She doesnt like the rain and now the wind LOL Winter is coming so she is going to have a tough time. The upside is I got to sit in my recliner ALONE LOL Today is supposed to be another breezy day BUT the temps are much warmer 52° here this morning.

I need to go pick my neighbor up from the hospital this morning after he gets discharged. He had gallbladder surgery yesterday and he feels fine except he has a sore throat from the intubation tube. He has been there since Thursday and is so ready to come home.

I like the idea of our members only room for posting personal issues we dont want the world to be able to see. Sometimes we just want feedback from our "active" members not just people who join, dont contribute anything ever, and we never see again. Can post phone numbers, addresses, etc. also. I dont see it being used as a substitute for our other rooms, just when someone needs to vent or post personal stuff, but that is just me.

Good Morning, it is very cool and cloudy here again. Beginning to think we moved from summer to winter and totally missed fall. Karen I had to laugh at you saying your Emma need to get a grip! I so understand. I would also like to sit in my recliner ALONE. Toby thinks he has dibs but last night Mitzi jumped in ahead of him while he was psyching himself up for the leap! I bet your neighbor will be much better once he gets home!

Went to bed a little earlier than usual last night so I woke up a little earlier too.

It is very windy and chilly here too this morning! Am just waiting until 9:00 when the park office opens so I can talk to the manager about my tree. Then off to the bank and Walmart. Then need to work on projects for a bit before going to work later this afternoon.

Enjoy your day! :D

Good Morning, very pleasant here. Has anyone heard from Liz & DH since Michael blew through that area? Hey, Carol & Bill, have a safe trip! I love your postings from your winter locations! Since I did not renew my passport, I can’t go there!
Cheryl, yes, come west!
Tina, Joseph is a WINNER!
Did my PT exercises once this morning, now to do them again.

Lyn, Liz and her dh have returned home, safe and sound.

I got moved into an electric site this morning. I couldn't remember why I had decided to park the way the long rig that had been here did, so didn't. After getting all leveled, etc, came inside, opened the curtain on the window over my couch and cussed... The view lol... That was why. I may move... It'll only take a couple minutes. But it's chilly out there. Ty and I did a long walk this morning... That warms me up. Sitting inside on my butt... Not so much.

My sister posted a couple pics of Peaches and I from two years ago today.... Peaches in her butterfly costume... In a parade for my sister's local humane society. I called her my little angel... Everyone else called her a butterfly.

Very cold here also, at least at night. Yesterday was a high of 60 but with the wind, didn't feel 60. And today it is supposed to get to 75, but I don't believe it. Last night, the wind kept banging something. I thought it was the hatch cover where my electrical cord comes out, but then early this morning, I discovered it was the bathroom vent cover. I have the second covers over my vents, but the wind is blowing is at just the right angle to open it and then slam it down again. I tightened it as best I could and that seems to have helped.

I've finally been sleeping better. All last week, I was getting 2-4 hours sleep each night worrying about stuff, mostly money to pay for my very expensive generator repair and other stuff. Have decided to take some out of savings. I saved money for when I got old, and I guess I have to realize that I actually am old now and spend some of it. :)

So, yesterday morning I had slept well and stayed in bed another couple of hours reading my Kindle snuggled under my down comforter. Felt really good. Did the same this morning.

Looks like it’s chilly all over, In 30’s here and we are having some very intense snow showers too, plus it’s windy. Worked in the yard blowing out leaves and pine needles yesterday. There are more coming down, but some trees are bare now. Had a big pile of pine needles to haul off from the back, but too tired to bother yesterday. Decided to do that this morning before the wind and snow showers started and get them all wet. Didn’t take long and snow shower was starting just as I finished. Put the lawn tractor and cart back in garage. Sure am glad trailer is done and put away.

Couple more months and I will start making reservations for next summer especially 4th of July week when my friends take their vacation. Then work on rest of July and August as the window opens for reservations. No plans for out of Stste trips right now.

Beth, send me a PM for the Private room too. Be nice to have the Password just in case and also to check in once in awhile to see if anything going on.

Afternoon here and temp is in low 90’s, needless to say stuck inside trying to make myself do some chores! Not having much luck on getting much done.

Had planned to mow this morning before noon, way too hot, so even though we need rain in this area I’m hoping it will do it after dark, if we get any.

Hope your tree is coming down soon Barbie. Lyn, so sorry to hear you’re having to deal with pain. Tina, any thoughts of coming south this winter?

Well, just wanted to remind you all what really hot is and how it’s miserable and takes all energy and ambition out of you, remember? And also can make you grouchy when it hangs around soooooooo long!

Bye

Instead of three dog nights I usually have 3 cat nights. I sleep so much better in the camper with no cats. lol Stinky has to be by my head, Possie below Stinky but not touching her and CC on my legs so I can't move. If Annie isn't sleeping she wants to sit in my lap or just go round and round knocking things off the desk with her tail. I call her Lash LaRou. That was an old western actor with a bullwhip.

It's back up to 93 here. The radar shows rain all around us but it hasn't rained yet. There is a tornado warning to the West of here. I made my list for when I go to town but can't get motivated to go today. If I wasn't so darn lazy I could go to the dollar store and get what I need to make my cake.

I"m trying! I changed NM arrival to tomorrow to what was originally my second stop, but it's still going to be cold there too. Wednesday i'll be moving south again, but looks like the cold front is following me. Temps this year are much lower than when I followed Lyn last year, shorts everyday and AC on. This year it's jeans, sweatshirts and heat. :x

I rushed through northern NM... That's for summer travels. Southern NM isn't as warm as the Arizona desert, and this week lower than normal, but going back up in a few days. I was wearing my sun dresses a couple days ago. I still love NM, as fickle as her weather is, it's not as bad as Keystone lol
