Good Morning all. Cloudy, cool and going to be rainy here today. Fine by me as we need it. Still in abnormally dry conditions here. I’ve got everything done outside as far as painting etc., is concern d. Think I took the paint brush to anything that doesn’t move out there  Need to make a fence repair and want to resize a gate, but no hurry on that. Today I’m cleaning inside as it needs it after ignoring it for most part these past couple weeks  Load of laundry to do too. Want to take off and go camping, but long term forecast isn’t looking to great, with below normal temps coming in. In the U.P. predictions are for low to mid 50’s, down here in the 60’s which I can handle better, but want to make a last trip “up north”. But there’s Still time before having to winterize.

Velda, my neighbor’s granddaughter had a similiar experience with her grandmothers phone after she passed away. She was given the phone after it had been “cleaned”out of all information, grandma’s contacts etc. and yet she got a call like you did from Mel’s phone. I too believe we get contacted from those “on the other side” in various ways. And like Barb, I have seen my mom in my dreams too.

Well, guess I should get my day moving here. Hope you all have a nice day out there.

Good Morning, It is sunny and probably going to be hot and humid again...yesterday we had some much needed rain. Emma is off to Paducah KY today with her trainer and her two Standard Poodles to 'practice', Emma for novice obedience and her dogs for the most advanced obedience work. My friends laugh when I say I need to check Emmm's schedule before making plans. The dog travels more than I do.
I too believe we receive messages from our loved ones who have passed. I took a metaphysical hypnosis class several times just to hear people tell about their unusual experiences. So many related examples that here is no doubt in my mind that a connection exists. Many people are afraid to share their experiences but in the class where others were sharing they would feel comfortable enough to tell. The minds capabilities is a wonderful thing to explore.

I've been looking for a report on Sandi's mule ride, did I miss it or has she not posted yet?

Here is Emma in Evansville, IN waiting for her turn. She is sitting on a tiny stool.

Good morning all. Sue, I wish I had your energy! Today needs to be an outside day here. Supposed to be a beautiful summer day before it falls apart tomorrow! Need to do some yard work and load some things into Lola since I’m going away in a couple of days. Elk country trip, finally!

On a sad note, I had to let my old fellow go to the rainbow bridge on Monday. He’s been slipping for quite awhile and had to make the decision to end his suffering. Hardest thing I’ve had to do in a long time. He was DH buddy so it was all tied up in those memories too. Rascal is missing him, I think. But hopefully he’ll be okay as an only dog. Right now he is sticking pretty close to me. My new shadow!

Barbie, hope you have a handle on the nasty fleas. Been there! So far the collars have worked. And Velda, be kind to yourself and do what makes you comfortable. I’ve wondered about Sandi and her mule trip too! And hope those bike shorts work! Ok, time to get outside and do some of the things I’ve been thinking I need to do. Have a great day and enjoy!

(((Hugs))) to you Sharon. That last ride is never easy and words to represent our feeling never enough.

Sunny and breezy here today. Nice cool breeze blowing thru the house!

For awhile I wasn't able to sleep well. Now I am sleeping too much. About 10+ hours per night. My usual is about 7 hours. And I am still really tired during the day. Not sure what that is all about.

My house is gaining more and more plants around here, inside and out! Love it! As long as I don't have to take care of them (ie; kill them  ).

I dream about my mom almost every night, but I also occasionally get "dream visits" from her where I actually communicate with her and when I wake up I feel such a strong sense of her love wrapped around me. :D Such an awesome feeling! Had that once with my grandma too. Surprisingly, I have not had any such experiences with my dad yet. Maybe because I am still working on some unresolved negative feelings about him. I think negativity can block that connection. (altho, now that I think about it, he did come to me right when he passed away, while I was sleeping and we communicated for a bit and I woke up with tears in my eyes. Minutes later, my brother came in and told me our dad had passed and I said "I know").

I have ants crawling on my new washing machine! :o What the heck do they want with that?? I wish my negative feelings for them would keep them away!!!

Sharon, sorry to hear about your baby! That is so hard!

BJ, Emma is so pretty!

I have a whole list of things to do here today so I need to get busy on that. Have a good day! :D

Sharon, I am so sorry. It's so hard losing a furbaby.

I have had tons of dreams about my parents and my brother since we lost them, usually always about work, but that's what we did. I've also had moments when Teddy was here. He's woken me in bed and I woke Steve to let him know Teddy needed to go out. In the kitchen, Teddy was often under foot, and after we lost him, I almost tripped over him in the kitchen. Today, almost two years later, I heard him yelp.

We had another half bushel of steamed crabs. I think this might have been the eighth or ninth half bushel we've bought since we've been home. We had a crab feast and picked lots more and there's maybe another dozen that we'll pick tomorrow. More crab cakes and cream of crab soup. One of the perks of living on the east coast.

Hugs Sharon. It's never easy.

My mom's been gone years now and I still talk with her. And also with some friends. My dad died when I was so young, I feel him less, but still feel his presence... In fact behaviors he taught me were partof a conversion with a customer today. And my dogs and cats still talk with me and are with me. Peaches, I know, has guided Ty in some ways as she was guided by Moxie before her and Tips for awhile with her. And I talk with them all. Ty must think this rig is really full LOL

Thanks Barbie, I like the way Emma looks too but it is hard to keep her that way! Just as sure as I have her groomed ( I gave that up with her) it rains! The way you are feeling, you might want to get some blood work done especially to check your liver. You have been using so many chemicals in and around your house you could have some issues. I wish you could find another way to fight them!
