Morning all. Was nice to seee so many posts yesterday, enjoyed reading them. Catherine, I have some patio blocks needing to be moved too, when you are done  . But yep, the dolly does the trick. Much easier than carrying them.

The trailer project really got moving yesterday since we got the preliminary stuff out of the way. The miter and jig saws got a good work out. It’s pretty much done except for wrapping up some loose ends and putting some framing under the one corner of the bed. I’m really happy with the changes and so is my friend. Looks more open and I have gained a few more inches of floor space away from the edge of the slide, when it comes in, plus some bonus storage space. Might go work on it some more today. It’s been too hot for physical work and it’s wearing us out. Temps are in mid 80’s, which is almost 20 degrees aboverage for us right now. And it gets warm in the trailer. Yesterday, the majority of work was in the garage. Much needed rain is in the forecast, so shall see how it goes. Plan to take it to dealers next week for service before first outing next month. Will post pictures in a bit, after all is said and done :)

But right now, am off to wash my hair and get this day moving. Hope you all have a great holiday weekend.

It's still morning here ibn the Black Hills on a beautiful, sunny day that we actually might not see any rain. Peaches and I went for a walk. I worked an hour or two. Now I'm a bum. I'd take the scooter for a ride but there are people everywhere. I prefer the empty country roads LOL So being a bum will do.

Slept in late this morning. Maybe will try not taking the half sleeping pill tonight. They suggest taking 2 of them before bedtime and I just take half of one and I sleep in a coma! I wouldn't wake up for a week if I took two! I am cutting down on the pred now so maybe it won't make me so anxious at night now.

Off to work shortly and then have 3 days off. Really need to get this place cleaned up since I don't have any more days off before my trip the following week. Don't want to come back home to a sh**house. Also, my boss is bringing her kids over to take care of the kitties and I don't want her to think I am a total slob! I just got so behind on things around here the past couple months with being sick and injured.

Hope you all have a great weekend where ever you are!

I appreciate the offer to help with your pavers, Sue, but i think doing it once & then putting some back will be as much fun as I can handle.

Enjoy those days off, Barb. And I know what you mean - even though I work from home, my place can get fairly messy during the week (ok, & weekend, if I don't keep up with it)

Drove down to a farmer's market this morning in Irvine. When I'm down there I always take time to visit the beach at Corona del Mar. So nice - not crowded, beautiful water. Watched some pretty big yachts going out - very cool.

Yikes! just uncovered some subterreanean termites under some of the pavers. :o I'm going to get a reputation as a trouble-maker with the HOA. :(

I need a beach fix soon too!

I have uncovered ant nests under the pavers around my house too. I destroyed a few of them and now I notice less ants in the house.

Came home from work and had a burst of motivation so I ripped out all the old plants and flowers from the front garden. I need to find out how to successfully move rose bushes. I have two I want to move to a new location.

I think I will take advantage of what surplus energy I have tonight and do a few indoor projects before bedtime.

Tomorrow is the Strawberry Festival in Vista so I want to check that out fairly early before it gets too crowded.

Temps here are still very nice and cool, mid to upper 60's. Is in the upper 80's and low 90's back in MN right now. Hoping it cools off some when I am there.
