It’s Tuesday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It’s Tuesday!

Good Morning. A cloudy and cool Tuesday it is too. Irmi, wish you could send some of that rain up here as we could use some. A huge mass of rain heading north yesterday, dissapted before it did anything other than just sprinkle here.

Got the last of my chores for yesterday completed and today is off to town for shopping and a few other errands this morning. Maybe spread some mulch this afternoon. Taking advantage of the cloudy, cool weather.

Aww Beth, sorry to hear Peaches isn’t doing good again. Hope things can get regulated so she feels better. Glad al your employees are there now and just about ready to tackle the world. As to my yard and hose, nothing special. It’s just that I’m catching up on a few years of neglect around here. The original owners kept things up nice till the last couple 2 or 3 years they lived here, then started wintering in AZ. Didn’t do much to the yard and such after that as his health wasn’t that good, so flowerbeds etc., went to weeds, roots etc. and other things weren’t done either. Then the lady who bought from them and was here just a couple years, didn’t either except for removing some bushes who’s roots were in the drain field and having some diseased trees removed. Hence my repainting of the entire house inside, the porch and deck areas, the removal of some and overhauling of other flowerbeds. Just bringing things back to where they should be. Been a labor of love so to speak.

Velda, that’s wonderful having an military honors day for Mel. I’m sure he will enjoy that. I wish my dad could have lived a few more years to see all the accolades being given our veterans now, especially those of the “greatest generation”.

Friend arriving at the park today, so hopefully trailer renovations will start tomorrow before the 80 degree weather sets in later this week. Neither of us like working in that weather. Then next week, off to the dealer for service and back, to get ready for first trip out in mid June.

So, time to get a move on here I guess. Hope you all have a wonderful day today.

Hope it heals fast so you can get camping again. Rosemary I'm glad you had a good trip. You'll just have to go back again. Personally I like Zion a lot. Velma how nice that you'll be having a military honor day for Mel. Thank him for his service for me.

I still feel bad from what ever I caught the two days I was with my sister. I think I was up every two hours all night long. Not a restful night. I thought I heard it raining softly sometime during the night. The weather people are all hyped up over what might or might not develop in the gulf. I hate to think about having to evacuate all the things that have to be moved for a hurricane.

My hair is out of control but I am going to get it cut this afternoon. I need to find all my lists of things I need from town.

Sue, I wish I had you ambition for yard work. It's all I can do to keep up my rose bed and it always needs work. The last 2 rosed I planted were suppose to be hybrid teas but the blooms sure don't look like that.

Good afternoon gals!
Just came back from the doctors office...last night after work I was just sitting on the couch watching TV and started noticing a strong pain in my left shoulder along my collar bone. This morning it was even worse. Thought maybe it was dislocated or something. Turns out it is just very inflamed at the joints from arthritis, probably brought on by sleeping on my stomach the other night with my arm up under my pillow (which is a big no-no for me). So I am on prednisone for a couple weeks. I turned down the cortizone shot for now but may have to rethink that if this doesn't work. I am hoping it gets better enough for me to work with it.

I am really feeling old these past few months! Yikes! My age is starting to really catch up with me now.

I am off to take a nap now. So much for all the projects I planned to do today :( .

Had a good nap! I thought the pred would make me more awake and jittery (like the doc said) but I slept great for a couple hours. My shoulder feels much better, just a slight ache now. Just have to take it easy and be sure to not roll over on my stomach while I am sleeping. I had this same problem a few years ago on the other shoulder for the same reason. I tied my arm to my body with a scarf at night to keep from being able to move it up in my sleep. Took a little getting used to but worked.

Was gonna go see a movie tonight (Book Club) but remembered I needed milk, cat food and litter, so ended up going to WM instead. I can see the movie later this week. Looks like a good one!

Sounds like frozen shoulder to me. I had it twice and also in my hip. The shots directly into the joint was the only cure. For me pretty much eliminating dairy really helped. Totally stopped my ankle and knee joint pain. Dairy is a known inflammatory. Add turmeric to your diet, too.
