Morning everybody. Beautiful sunny morning to start the day here in Northern Michigan. Warmer temps are arriving, snow is melting, all is well with the world here. Pat, don't feel bad, we have you beat by a long shot with the snow. Try 15+ inches at least. But with upper 50-low 60 degree temps forecasted along with sun for the next week, it will disappear.

Beth, sorry you are having so much trouble getting the computer at work up and running. So aggravating. I'm sure you would rather be doing other things to get the store ready rather than spending time messing with that. Barbie, glad to hear you are feeling better and you got a bit of rain out there. Irmi, hope the organ gets delivered for you and that the church realized what a great volunteer they have in you. They will miss you when you head back north. Velda, sorryou and Mel are going through so much right now. Prayers go out to both of you. Annie, how's the trip plans coming along for Yellowstone and Craters of the Moon? Now that we are through with winter, I can start thinking about getting to my trailer after this mess melts and doing some "remodeling" etc. Haven't booked any reservations other than July and August so far. Just kind of winging it right now.

Otherwise same old here. Working on a woodcraft project. Got an idea for a camping sign, having scraped the first one, so am doing that now. Ran out of small nails yesterday, so off to hardware store of perhaps Lowes this morning. And of course we have our daily walk coming up this afternoon. With this great weather forecast, I'm sure the dogs and I will be off and going someplace for a day.

Have a nice day everyone, stay safe and enjoy spring!

Peggy, I would like some day lilies! Can you please ship them to me ASAP? :lol

I worked until 2 today I got my new rib belt and wore that but the elastic edge on the back of it was feeling rough so I wore a t-shirt under my top and put the belt over the t-shirt. However, it was still rubbing and chafing thru the t-shirt when I moved while cutting hair so now I have a red, sore mark on my back. I switched to the back brace (worn up on my rib cage) when I got home. It is bigger and bulkier but doesn't rub on my skin. Still gives me the support I need. Otherwise, if I don't cough, I am feeling pretty good.

Stopped at Hobby Lobby after work to pick up some faux flowers for the area on my back patio under the Camilla trees to add some color since they are no longer blooming. Am so happy they are putting in a new Hobby Lobby just a mile or so down the street from me this fall! Probably not so good for my pocket book tho!

I discovered a new grocery store that is equivalent to the Cub Food stores in Minnesota, which is a huge grocery store with really low prices. The one here is WinCo. My manager told me about it so I checked it out since it was next door to Hobby Lobby. They are very cheap! It is a little further away from where I live than I usually go but worth it (if I don't end up in rush hour traffic which I did today!).

I also discovered a nice little lake with walking trails around it that a client told me about. Will have to go back there when I have more time and walk the trails.

Barbie, I love Winco when I've been places near them. You're lucky.

Well I still can't do price changes and add things but since the computer was there and not being worked on I could put together schedules and other things not on that software. Things are coming together... Even though I know I'll be playing catch up after we open. It's a good thing the first couple weeks are slow!

Peaches and I are happy to be here... I'm beginning to have the feeling that I've been coming back here too many summers, but it feels like home, too, so that's good. And you can tell how much Peaches loves it. (With her I think it's the creek!) Deer have been regular visitors around the cg. The past two days I've heard marmots and finally saw two today! Yay... Love them.

Off to get some sleep. Hope everyone is safe and enjoying themselves.

It may be a little overdone but I think it is cute especially with my new matching lizard! Adds a lot of color to a otherwise dull area now that the Camillas are done blooming. (The Camilla blossoms are pink and white too).
