Good morning... sometimes I wonder if it ever stops... the problems that is... I discovered a major leak that's about all I'm going to say about it right now I'm too upset... on a happy note I'm getting ready for a free weekend camping at Lake Louisa State Park in Florida.... I belong to a Facebook page called RV Women in Florida.. actually Margie and I started the page .. a group of girls are going on a weekend at Lake Louisa one of the girls had to cancel and offered her spot already paid for... so that's how I get a free weekend camping very lovely lady I hope to Camp with her in the future...Pheebe is getting better with her separation anxiety and her problem with people coming in her house... and she's pretty good now about not barking at people dogs bicycles and golf carts going by the house... it has been a problem but I think it's getting better.. I took her to the vet and got some medication for her I've only had to give it to her once... they gave me some other tips that I've been practicing with her... one is really working good ....can filled with nuts and bolts shake to distract her really works well that's all for me right now...

Donna, I used to always use a can with some pennies inside. Never needed it with Peaches... But worked like a charm with most dogs.

Sorry about whatever the water problem is. As to the lady who had to cancel, I'd feel guilty to not pay her. Even if she said no. Maybe make her something little? You're talented that way!

Morning Donna, Beth and all. Been to town to audiologist and back. She has me come in about every three months or so, checks my aids to make sure they are working properly, how I’m doing, if I need batteries, changes the tubing if necessary etc. I love it. Part of their services, doesn’t cost me anything and get free batteries too. All set.

Foggy here at the moment. Rained during the night, so melting snow making fog. Calm before the storm that’s coming. It’s mid April and we are under a Winter Storm Watch from tomorrow morning to Sunday afternoon. Potential for 10-16 inches of snow, 8 tenths of inch of ice, downed lines, downed trees, very hazardous if not impossible driving etc. etc. They are not painting a great picture. We shall see what happens. I’ll wait for Pat’s report and then later I can hand it over to O’Sharon  Beth, hope you are hunkered down and Toni, hope the same for you.

Sorry about the Water leak Donna. Unfortunately it goes with home ownership and when we buy a home, we never know what we will run into. I had to replace a water softener here lhis past winter and have spent the last year and a half painting inside and out, having some exterior repairs done, installing new storm doors, redoing some landscaping etc. etc.... this summer I need to repaint the porch and put a coat of non skid paint on part of my deck. Got some landscaping ideas as well. This being a 25 year old house, who knows what might give up the ghost one of these days. I know I should the hot water heater with a newer one, but all in time. I plan to have some electricians do some changes I want made and also check my electrical box to make sure it’s up to current codes.

Lunch time here, so logging out. Have a nice day all

I am not sure what is going on, but I posted a message yesterday and one this morning and neither show up. Will try again.

I spent the last two nights at Emigrant Lake in southern Oregon. Was nervous this morning about driving north to Bullard's Beach because of the heavy rain and snow in higher elevations. Kept checking weather and webcams on I-5 and 42, and it looked clear, so I left. Actually, road was mostly dry with just a little rain along the way. Long drive though, because my GPS decided I could not turn left when I got to 101 along the coast and sent me 12 miles to Coos Bay to make a U-turn!!! :x I realized after a few miles I was going the wrong way and did a loop into a gas station to turn around.

Anyway, it is actually sunny here, though really cold. Been getting down almost to freezing each night. Brrrr.
