Sunny Monday!

Good morning gals! Late morning that is! :o

I slept in again til 10:30. I figure I need the extra sleep to let my body heal up.

Have a couple things I want to do before going to work later today. Got a few things done yesterday. I just keep plugging away with small stuff. Makes me feel like I am accomplishing something without using up a lot of energy and getting worn out.

I found out I missed a work meeting last night. I totally forgot about it. Oops!

Hope you all have a good day/week!

Way past noontime...

I wish I could sleep past 4:30, but I'll lay in bed until 5:30 or so. If Steve ever gets over what he has, maybe I could sleep, so it's up and at 'em early.

It's chilly in Ocala again. Some of our friends went kayaking today but we opted out as we don't like wearing winter clothes on the water. But one couple just bought their kayak and wanted to go out. I can wait until the weather gets warmer again. This has been an extremely cold winter in Ocala. Next year has to be better. I even had to turn the heat on this morning so I could shower.

Martha & Judy, you are both heavy on my minds.

Judy, I hope the family appreciates what you're doing. Whether they do or not you can feel good that you know you've done the right thing.

Martha, I totally understand wanting your time. And you deserve it. Just know that we're here to listen whenever you need to talk or vent.

Ok, I finished 1 of the 2 extra days... Tomorrow really is it and I'm not volunteering myself for more! Hopefully Wed I'll be out of here.

The last thing I wanted to do was plan another funeral. My son had kept one of his Air Force uniforms with the decorations so I knew he would want a military funeral. I finally got it together and planned a service to honor his military service. The funeral home has been so helpful, but I guess they are use to dealing with people that are about nuts.

Judy, I hope you get your aunt and uncle moved. It sounds like there will be a lot to deal with.

Martha, I really feel for you and all you are dealing with. I hope you have a good support system, if not with family, with good friends nearby. Take care of yourself!

Martha:

I know what it is like to plan a funeral for a loved one. Perhaps one of the most heavy, and emotionally-intense tasks one ever has to perform. I, too, was extremely lucky in finding a funeral director that was extremely kind, helpful and understanding - while I was coming apart at the seams.

I think about you often, and pray for you. If words could help, I would say them.

My best wishes to you.
