Saturday already

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday already

Good morning
I honestly had to look at my phone to see what day it was!! Been up for awhile and I see a nap in my day but I do have many things to accomplish in the next few weeks. With all the painting done, its time to put the tools away and start moving storage tubs into the fifthwheel. I did start my demolition in the yard yesterday only because I wanted something else to do. Its something that can be done after the fifthwheel has been moved.
I've been liking the weather lately, even the furnace has hardly kicked on at night now.
Y'all have a great day, be safe

Good morning Ava and all who follow. Going to be a cloudy day here with possible overnight rain. We saw my husbands Radiation Oncologist Thursday, thinking we were there simply to say goodbye. However, she talked at length and went over in detail his recent CT, and after hearing about his rib pain and matching that to locations on CT, she feels she may be able to reduce his rib pain by doing low dose palliative radiation next week. So after being at UCD at 3 Thursday , we were back there Friday morning for techs to do measuring and marking and CT to set up for radiation next week. So the week ahead will be tiring and long but hopefully it will lead about a week later to reduced pain for Mel. No matter how sick he is, he always seems up for trying things that might help. He also began a nightly dose of Neurontin for nerve pain, last night first dose. Really stressful, but I did make it to Curves my 3 days. I just wish my body would decide its ok to sleep more than 5 hours.
Hope all have a happy day, no matter what you are up to.

Nothing exciting here. Just waiting on my release date :D I did learn that someone had cartons of free veggies at their site. I went a got a few items and added them to the few peppers is given that I haven't yet used ... Now need to pull something our of the freezer and cook! I'm not much of a tomato fan, so didn't grab any. They looked awesome though.

Has been gloomy and rainy all day. Slowed things down at work a bit. Supposed to rain tomorrow again. I am now just hunkered down on the couch with a blanket and Emily, watching Fixer Upper.

There is a nasty smell coming into the kitchen that I think may be a dead animal under the house. Ordered some stuff from Amazon to get rid of the smell in here. Hope it works! Using a lot of air fresheners and incense for now. Tomorrow morning I will look under the house with a flash light and see if I see anything. I am afraid it might be up under the flooring under the cabinets.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, how is Lola? I don’t think you’ve mentioned her for awhile. Has she made friends with Emily? Are you going to add Emily to your signature?

Barbi, check under your fridge for a drip pan. Had that issue years ago an old fridge from era of avocado appliances, smelled like something dead. There should be a grill at the bottom, pull straight out and look under, my drip pan would slide out for emptying. It was from the fridge kicking into defrost mode, kinda like condensation only a tad more, hence the drip pan.
