And now it is Sunday!!!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

And now it is Sunday!!!

Postby BirdbyBird » Sun Mar 01, 2009 8:48 am

Very quiet around the house. I will get the coffee going for those that take it. Read a few comics online. A little cleaning planned at my house so I will probably read slowly. Stuart passed his Therapy Dog Test and one of the other individuals invited him to come volunteer at University Hospital in Cincinnati. She turned out to be the head of the volunteer department.... Stuart is going to think about that. It is a drive but it is also a big hospital and apparently a big need.... Have a wonderful day, don't work so hard that you don't remember to enjoy all the good stuff....

Good Sunday Morning, to you all, and it's the first day of March! Did any of you remember to shout "RABBITS?" I forgot, as usual!

Coffee tastes extra good this morning---it's below zero out there, although sunny so far. Gotta go get in some more firewood. The northeast coastal states should be battening down for a large snowstorm, although I think it will miss us up here in the north country.

I hope Barb is feeling a lot better, and anyone else who has been ailing in any way this past month. The first official day of spring will happen in about 3 weeks. YIPPEE!!! Although, for us, it really happens about half-way through April.

Have a fun day, everybody, and if you are thinking about traveling to the northeast coastal states, I would wait a while!

I will miss Paul Harvey and his "Rest of the story" radio presentations each day. I believe I have heard his son lately, however, giving some of them? I hope he will continue with the tradition...I love them as I am driving to school.

HAPPY MARCH! And thanks for opening the day for us, Tina!

good morning ladies
ahhh fresh coffee, tastes so good.
Didn't get my laundry done yesterday so guess I'll have to do that today, but
otherwise I'll just kick back and smell the roses. Will take the dogs out for
a walk when the chill comes off the morning, Bandit is back to his normal
self, guess he was just having an off moment and his foot is fine too.
Enjoy your Sunday

Morning all!
Had to get up early today, like a little kid, to see if we really got enough snow to cover the ground. We did - will post a couple of photos in general area (weather channel has some better ones). For those of us who only get to see the white stuff once every 3 to 5 years, it is a big deal. Just hoping all gone before night fall as temps will drop to 20.
Hoping for a quit, uneventful stay indoors day. Maybe a little cleaning and cooking if I get that energetic after while.
Have a good day

Good morning...the coffee tastes absolutely wonderful this morning, many thanks to Birdbybird for firing up the pot....it's
-4 with a -19 windchill today. No Soos...I didn't remember to shout RABBITS, I looked at the thermometer and said something totally different. Ava...just what is the temperature when you consider that the chill is off? We had freezing rain on Thursday and snow on Friday. Needless to say the drive to and from work was treacherous both days. Haven't left the house this weekend except for about a half hour to pick up some groceries and go to the post office. But I have made giant steps on planning our 40th class reunion. Reservations are made for the dinner, Save-the-Date postcards are ready to send out to those classmates who we don't have email addresses and others have contacted via email. So I feel I really have accomplished something, but that darn good fairy who was suppose to clean the house hasn't surfaced yet....she's so dang lazy...just can't depend on her! Hard to believe that daylight savings time starts next Sunday, but at least it's a sure sign that Spring is going to arrive....sure hate the initial adjustment of getting up an hour earlier, but do enjoy that extra hour of daylight when I come home from work...seems to give the good fairy a little more energy. Have a nice day and a wonderful week.

Gooooood Afternoon Sistahs!!!!

Got my coffee in hand but no goodies this morn. I fixed myself some eggs for breakfast. Shade got a little bread and some left over egg yolk so she was happy. :D

Was raining out when I got up at 8:30 and took Shade out to go potty. Just went outside again a few minutes ago and was getting bonked on the head with ice bits. Not rain, not snow but little round tiny balls of ice. OHHHH YUCK!!!

Oh my, it's Sunday and a day of house cleaning for me. Kelly too as soon as I drag her butt out of bed. I got up at 5am to do a potty run and there she sat on the couch monkeying around, still on her laptop. Have no idea what time she did end up going to bed. David and Jenny were both out the door at 10am running to meet up with her Dad and brother.

Got part of the dishes done last night then had to quit cause my back is freaking killing me!!! Started bothering me yesterday, late morning. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what the heck I had done to make my back raise he77? :!: :?:  Then yesterday afternoon I remembered when Kelly mentioned that the bathtub had felt really slick and slimy to her. Yep, then I remembered coming dang close to falling in the shower. I think Jenny might have taken an oil bath some time Friday and didn't wash out the tub. I like the girl but I'm telling ya now I am not gonna miss living in the same house with her. I told David he's gonna have a rough road to travel with her. He is gonna have to be 1/2 chief cook, full chief bottle washer in that household. He does over half of the laundry for the two of them too. She is not what I would call great shakes in the housework department. Poor David, he's not as bad as he use to be? But he is still my neat freak. I foresee lots of squabbles over housework with those two!!!!

Well I guess I had better get off my butt for at least as long as I can stand it. Get to doing some housework. Hmmm? LOL I started this post out as always with my "Goooood Morning Sistahs" but had to sub in afternoon!!! A potty bread for Shade and I both and scrubbing a cushion cover for the couch and getting my laundry started kinda killed off the rest of what was left of the morning!!!

Hope everyone has a super day. Remember to stay safe!!!

Love to all

Good morning ...or should I say good afternoon lol I slept in....was pooped after the yard sale this weekend. We got a grand total of $223.21, $25 had to go to Dan for his stuff the rest is all MINE! So I'm gonna go buy some plants today and I loved sleeping in.
Have to remember ONLY have the yard sale on Friday not Saturday, more people come Friday.
So I have had my cup of coffee and bowl of Cheerio's. Gonna jump in the shower and then head to the Yuma Market place and Lowes & Home Depot for some plants.
Yuma is warming up in the 80's now and supppose to be 90 by tomorrow but cooling back down to the high 70's on Tuesday.
Hated to hear about Paul Harvey.
