Hopeful Wednesday!

Just got my Jeep back and am sure hoping this is the end of the issues...
I need to clean up the floor from the antifreeze somehow but not sure the best way to do that. Any ideas?

Today I will regroup again and get caught up on some things. I just made reservations at a county park near Idaho Springs for Friday and Saturday. Will check out some vehicles while I am there. Just not sure if this is the end of the problems with this car and if I should hang on to it til I get to CA, or if I should cut my losses and trade it in right away for something else. If I keep driving this Jeep I am going to be on pins and needles the whole rest of the way worrying about the next problem.

Had to turn on my furnace last night for awhile. Pretty chilly overnight and today a high of 65 but sunny so that is fine with me.

Maybe tomorrow I will get the courage to drive into Yellowstone Park and at least try to see Old Faithful and that area. Will have to leave really early tho.

Hope you all have a good day! I think there is a nap in my plans this afternoon!

Barbie, if you find another vehicle you like and it will tow the trailer, get it. I know you are reluctant to trade and lose money, but if you need anymore done on that Jeep, you will be out it anyway. Plus you certainly won't enjoy the trip either.

Just got rained out of a project I am working on, rebuilding a porch step and adding handrails. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. We really need the rain.

Otherwise not much going on here. Guess everybod's busy today. Hope you all have a nice one.

Barbie, I'm not sure but I think your Jeep will get you a lower trade-in value in CA. Don't they have a stricter emissions control standard than most states? Would your Jeep meet the requirements?

If the anti-freeze is in the carpet you would probably have to use a wet vacuum.

Tomorrow is Harold's 90 birthday and his daughter came today. She is one of those people who never shuts up and after an hour my ears are tired. July is the birthday month for us. It's my grandson, son, Harold and me. My sister has 2 boys that were born in July and a granddaughter and our dad's birthday was in July. By the time it gets to the end I am caked out.

I would like to be in some of those cooler temperatures some were posting about yesterday. We just stay in and be grateful for air conditioning.
