I got both my phone calls yesterday so Mother's Day was covered here in Ohio. Josef earned another Best of Breed and even got pulled in The Sporting Group (Translated that means he was the best English Cocker present and out of the 22 sporting breeds represented at the show yesterday he was pulled out of the line up as one of the top six but then four of those dogs actually placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th....) For a young dog without a professional handler that is not too shabby.

Dropped the RV off this morning for its oil change and check up. Hoping that nothing complicated is discovered as we need to head out to the Marietta, Ohio, shows on Wednesday. Running errands and the usual life maintenance around.

Hope everyone is able to find some big or little wonders in this day!

Good morning all
Got both my phone calls yesterday for Mothers day,
so all is well there.
I really have to clean house today since I've been
working on modifications in the motorhome, all my
tools and what not stuff have landed in the living room
around my feet.
Doing a trip to the post office today, pay some bills and make
some phone calls. That's about all i can muster after I clean
and do dishes.
Y'all enjoy your day, be safe

Cherokee Purple tomatoes! I was all sad that I didn't get home in time to start seeds and daydreaming about cloning myself so I could do everything. Then I found seedlings at my favorite nursery! Hurrah! They go in the ground today. :D

Also, I'm meeting my niece for lunch and taking Drew back to class this evening. What a great day!

I was laying in bed this morning watching TV, but then realized I was in Central time and had to make Yosemite Reservation. Jumped out of bed and signed in and got four nights in North Pines on October 10-14! Whew! Hard to adjust to new time zone after being in Eastern for 7 months. I also need to remember to adjust things when I have appointments with students online. Takes a bit more effort than usual, but I am wide awake now and going to get my morning started.

I am in a COE campground on Clinton Lake now, near Lawrence, KS, and plan to stay here another 6 days to relax and catch up on some chores after five days of driving. Got enough groceries, but will probably go into Lawrence one day just to explore. Glad to be out of all the traffic on I-70 for a while, at least.

Congrats on the dog wins, Tina. I saw a Great Dane yesterday who is still a very big puppy and has not yet realized he is no longer lap-sized! Image

Thunderstorms are rolling in already just west of me. Went out and closed up the vent and all the windows in Happy. Will do inside things today. Haven't done much yet and already feel a nap coming on! Worked 7 days straight this past week so my shoulders and wrists are sore, so probably not a bad idea to take it easy and let them rest today. Lots of reading to do...the manual for the camper, RV books, RV dvds, and on-line ideas for storage, equipment and improvements. I threw out all the sewer and water hoses that came with Happy. They all looked pretty nasty and the white water hose was kept with the sewer hose, so that had to go. Will start with all new stuff for that so will look on line for what I need to get. If there are germs on things (I am a bit of a germophobe) I want to know they are my germs, not someone elses!

Hope you all have a good day and stay safe and happy! :D

Love the pic of the Great Dane pup!! Way cute

Barbie - good that you are replacing all hoses! I have a 25' water hose that I store in a plastic container. I think 10 - 15' would be perfect and I will probably switch to either 10 or 15'. So far have not needed even half of 25'. You should have a surge protector but they are expensive.
