good morning where is everybody.... I found out that one of the ladies at the church is on the board of the Habitat for Humanity in her local area I'm going to talk to her tomorrow late afternoon when I go to do some crafting with them and see if they can take my stuff... makes me happy if they can for sure and there goes a big stress out the window... today I have to go back to the foot doctor it still hurts but not as bad as it did and I'm out of shots can not get anymore cortisone shots... I just went to Publix to get some fruit and some meat I bought myself a steak... I feel like celebrating when I was walking across the parking lot I felt a small twinge of freedom....all for me right now...B safe...donna

Quiet morning online. I am waiting at the RV dealer for them to evaluate my slide problem. Barely had any breakfast, so am getting hungry, but as long as I can get my slide fixed, I will be happy.

Supposed to get warmer this week--getting tired of cold and rain. Will be headed west tonight, hopefully.

You're right, Judy, I'm tired of dodging raindrops, too. Camping at Rock Cut with Cheryl & we've had enough sitting. Want to hike a little, but not in the rain! Had a pretty nice morning , but rain started right after lunch, then an hour off, & pouring again. Campfire pits are underwater. Hoping for a nicer day tomorrow, but we're still having fun.

It took almost four hours, but they finally found the cause of my left slide not working--a fuse! But not an ordinary fuse in the usual fuse panel--no, this one was in the controller which was hidden in a plywood compartment under my bed which also contains my rear furnace and converter! Who would have thunk it????

And to get to this controller and fuse, you have to lift the bed, prop it up, and then unscrew the cover to this plywood compartment. Not a typical place to hide a controller. Anyway, I will know to have someone check this if it happens again. Also, I learned that Fleetwood does not provide electrical schematics to dealers because they change the way they wire their RVs so often, so the mechanic had to trace the wires from the switches all the way to the slide motors and then back to the controllers.

Remember the old story??? My version is $1 for the fuse, and $155 for knowing where to find the fuse. :D

Oh, and it was a little warmer today. Actually had to use AC when I got to my campground early this evening. Hopeful for tomorrow.
